The endless view is amazing there. Looks like a nice well kept place. Do you ever hear coyotes howling in the distance in the evenings there? Would be nice to sit and have a cold beer at dusk while enjoying the view and listening to the coyotes in the distance.

Nice 3 wheeler. I have a Sun Miami 3 whl and last year when we were driving home from camping it fell off our rack. Thank God no one was following behind us when it bounced around the road. Luckily it was fixable. Enjoy your videos and sense of humor.

Thank you for the trike ride. I’m getting really tempted to get one for myself. I am in the country, but it sure would be handy for me to use to ride to the garden or to the chicken coup or even to ride to the mailbox which is about half a mile away. Thanks again. Very nice video.

Thanks for the trip Rusty! Very enjoyable. We were there March 2019 and were given the last available W/E site (4). Since it was a handicap site, we were told that we might have to leave if a handicap camper arrived. High, high winds were broadside to us and so cold! We did take the Lava Trail and I walked the dogs all around there, but nearly froze! Beautiful area, but in March...Whew!
Such an awesome place! I sure had a great time when I visited there last year. I didn't check out the tent sites but that was awesome especially with those lava walls right next to the campsites. You have a cool trike to tool around . Thanks for sharing ! Journey Onward...

Gotta watch out for rattlesnakes there! I went there to get a shower last summer, and the nice Texan Workamper told me he's seen a number down there on that boardwalk! I'm like "NAH!"

Hey Rusty, I see your back in my stompijng grounds, Ole Capitan Boy. here. Valley of Fires was estavlished in th 70s by NM State Parks. They gave it up to BLM later on, dont know why. Good vid. Keep on Keeping on!

Rusty, the lava flow Google says approximately 5000 years ago. Rusty you can always go camping in your Casita and still build the cabin for the future. Love your stuff !

Thanks for sharing this tour of the Park. Besides the hookups, I like the paved parking, covered shelter and grand vistas. This Park is more up to date and modernized than my initial take on it. Nice. 👍👍
Would like to see the view from atop the mound at your site. No biggie if it is too difficult. I think I would be asking google the wind speed of where you're at... in the mornings. Dang Gnats...Yikes. Hey, Google how many gnats per foot in Llano?

Definitely will put Valley of the Fires on my "to visit" places! Fell in love woth the first 2 minutes of your tour! I enjoy your videos so much...I am 79 and have been RVing solo 21 years since my husband passed. Hope to have a few more years before I feel I should hang up my keys! Hope our paths cross some day...you are a very interesting person with a philosophy I share! Happy Trails as RR would say!

I am a snowbird. I have lived in the desert in the winter months. Even in those months when dry camping the heat can be intolerable. If you didn't have A/C would you be comfortable at Valley of the Fire? Thank you. I don't expect an answer, but I surely would like to visit this place. Oh! When I listened to the end, you had answered my question. I enjoyed this video!

The sunrise and sunsets there are the most beautiful part of staying there, Valley of fires has always been my go to place never anyone there or just maybe 4 or 5 RVers
