As a Londoner, I absolutely adore watching videos of people from afar visiting my city. I never fail to find something that they have found that I've never seen before! Really hope you both enjoyed your time here. First of all, so sorry you had to fly BA, there's MANY better airlines to fly to UK from US with a better service. BA are an embarrassment to the country and airline industry. I used to operate the London Eye in the early 2000s. There's so many more free view points in London now (there wasn't when it was built). The Shard, Tower 42, Horizon 42, Sky Gardens etc. A boat ride on the Thames is a must, so glad you did that. I've done a few speedboat trips which are fantastic, take you all the way to the Thames Barrier and back. That flat is GORGEOUS for London.
If at 13:00 you were to look right, you would have seen St Thomas's Hospital where I had 4 bones reset on 4 different occasions and more to the point, my wife gave birth to our eldest two girls and that view of Big Ben and Parliament was what my wife had on both occasions!
I am pleased that the weather turned out ok for you on the London Eye, if only for the views. You cannot jaywalk in the UK because you are allowed to cross the road here. Look right, left, right and cross. We are expected to use our senses and road awareness. I hope that you enjoyed your trip.
The lady was so cute on the plane getting starstruck on the accents she was hearing , its flattering as a Brit to see people so excited to come here , great vid
Well done on doing the tours as you see loads more stuff than if you do it yourself , people now understand why it usually takes many weeks to tour all of London.
It`s strange how we ( all over the world, not just us ) take things for granted. I`ve been all over London. Stood in front of Buckingham Palace, walked over Westminster Bridge, eaten a sandwich whilst leaning against the walls of the Tower of London.... but can hardly make anything of it since it`s just here. I can`t get to work without driving past a thousand year old church.... so what are churches and other buildings to me ? Don`t get me wrong, I appreciate the things I see here in England. But it`s easy to miss. It`s like, if you asked me if I`ve been to such and such a town which is 800 years old, I`d have no idea.... As likely as not I have - but I can`t remember being there on the grouunds that it`s just one other place here in Europe.
They arrive in London when it`s pi$£ing it down with rain. I must point out that It only rains in London whilst tourists are there. You must, therefore, come along when there are no toursits there.
Why not ? Are they breaking the law ? We should be flattered that acccents such as ours are as popular as they are and perhaps more popular than they deserve to be, don`t you think ? I`ll admit that the first time I sojourned west I was looking forward to hearing the American `twang` they add to our ( common ) language. Nightmare : I`ve even tried on the US accent myself whilst being as thouroughly English as it`s possible to be.

How is being on the London Eye more scary than being on an airplane?
The Gloucester Arms is pronounced Gloster, some of our words are strange to say.
Jaywalking isn't a thing in the UK.
Yes it's not illegal here.
You cannot jaywalk in Britain
You're wrong it is legal. Look it up.
@@1346crecy you cannot Jay walk in England because it isn't a crime...
@@geoffmelvin6012 You can still do something that's not a crime.
No one j walks in Britain. Many cross a Motorway, Well try that's called evolution. Or splat like a fly on a windscreen.
@@heliotropezzz333 if there is no offence called Jay walking then you cannot do it... It is simply crossing the road
Did you say j walking? In London 😂
Who is Bebe Rexha?
Never ever try a British accent again
