In my opinion Davey or Mac would both be perfect protagonists for rdr3 they're not talked about alot even when they are they don't go into too much detail they're stories and reasons and how they joined the gang are left open-ended maybe on purpose so they can lay the grounds for rdr3 like in rdr1 you were given bits of information about Dutch Bill and Javier but not they're full stories but in rdr2 it delves much deeper so maybe in rdr3 we could see the callander boys story. I know we don't know them but how the gang talks about them I like to think that Mac was sortve a gentle giant like Bill said he was heartless but had a heart and I like to think Davey was much more like Sean because in the legendary grizzly mission in chapter 2 hosea and Arthur talk about how Davey was a partier and sort of a hothead much like Sean in my opinion I would love to see Mac as a protagonist we also don't know what he looks like so thats another point. @@Football_fan098 It will probably be the brother we didn't see. This is so Rockstar has all the room to still cast the voice actor and make deciding choices on his appearance.
Ok so here’s what we know about mac: 1. Died in a final last stand in black water, or escaped black water and died later either due to wounds or due to the pinkertons catching up to him, the details aren’t clear but I think the final last stand in black water is the most likely way for mac to go 2. He was close with bill, Sean, hosea, davey, Dutch, uncle, and Arthur 3. He beats up 15 sailors 4. He was a heartless man, but he had a heart 5. Mac was known as a good man, at least from bill 6. He was fun to rob with 7. Karen liked to tease the callander boys 8. They were a liability
According to cut content, it was Mac who gave Arthur his coat and his horse to get away from Blackwater after Arthur’s horse Boadicea had died in the fighting.
And that was in a soft voice. It would only sound like a threat if he yelled it to Kieran... This...? This was an unavoidable statement. R.I.P., Kieran.
I love the comparison between the Callander boys and Micah. All three were vicious gunmen who could shoot up a whole town for the gang, but whilst nobody had any genuine love for Micah, everybody talked about the Callanders and missed them after they died.
I disagree. Micah shot up a whole town for himself (to get his guns back). Not denying that the Callander boys could have been as vicious as Micah, but they were actually loyal to the gang, hence why most gang members spoke about them with grief and remembrance.
@alen rakanovic your wrong he went insane after that trolley business in saint denis hitting his and losing hosea made him went insane chapter two Dutch would have never listened to Micah that must or trust him that much
The way they talk about Mac, I'd bet my last dollar that the RDR3 playable character is gonna be him. Whenever the game comes out that is. Know What I Mean?
The way the gang talks about them, especially about Mac, is the perfect set up for a pre-prequel, it would start when the Callender boys first met Dutch and join the gang, then they could add the special gang activities "Campfire story" where Hosea could be telling stories about the gang like how him and Dutch met, or when they met Arthur and John, and those could be unique activities so if you lose them, there wouldn't be another opportunity to play them. And they main story would end with the Blackwater massacre.
June Hollybell Don’t think Sean or Lenny would because both were loyal,if Javier died as well we would have said the same thing but he sided with Dutch
Dino Hello He was also very close with Javier and Bill and don’t forget Sean said Dutch took him and fed him when he has hungry for 3 days, even Bill and Javier said when they met Dutch he fed as they had nothing and Sean wasn’t some one smart who would think Dutch was wrong and Lenny I am not sure about, could be anything which we will never know
I was going to say...RDR3 would most likely have them as the playable protagonists...since R* likes to kill off their protagonists....it also coincides with the start of RDR2 and their deaths lead into playing as Arthur.
I can see it now, a prequel to Read Dead 2 where we live the life of Mac Callander, in a time well before Micah joins the gang. It would show characters like Davey and Jenny, and we'd get to see more of Sean, in his prime state before being captured. We would also get to finally see what truly went down on 'that boat' and the Blackwater Massacre.
It would be a good closer, we'd finally get to see what really went on (which could ruin some of the mystery and theme however, I guess) and get another section of the cycle of empires down (in this case the empire being the Van Der Linde gang), showing the height and stable period of the Van Der Linde gang, before their gradual decline, and eventual collapse and wiping up. Climax would likely be the botched robbery on the Riverboat, and Mac getting wounded and trying to escape with Sean, only for them to get wounded. Mac has a hard few weeks on the run and depending on honor, would either be tortured and killed by Agent Milton in the closing, or manage to get away, likely meeting his end by some other fate, maybe in his possible redemption (guarding a town he previously robbed blind or something, but due to his injuries from Blackwater worsening without treatment, he can't keep up and dies defending the town or something)
@@someweirdo4577 I think mac died, him and Aurther were pinned down by the Pinkertons and aurthers horse bodeicia was killed so mac gave his horse to Aurther and he escaped and mac held off the Pinkertons, theres cut dialogue where he tells ducth all of this after he gives Dutch his pipe
But how would that game end and how will you be able to free roam at the end of the game because right after the black mater massacre mac is captured and Davey dies
So we saw Davey on screen (albeit briefly) and he died of his wounds from Blackwater. I'd love to see some sort of content involving Mac and his time on the run while wounded, before getting caught. Read also that apparently there were cut dialogue lines specifying that the Gunslinger coat of Arthur's originally belonged to Mac, and that Arthur was supposed to have escaped from Blackwater by Mac holding off Pinkerton agents so he could get away on foot after his horse was killed. Which is interesting but who knows of that will be included
Watching this just makes me so excited for the next red dead, to learn about the Callander boys, so far mac seems like a cool guy, my bet is on him being the next protagonist. Even though the next game wont be out for years its still fun to think about
From the way they talk about him, he was ruthless. Almost like Micah, but doesn't go through with his threat. If i remember correctly he threatened to kill a whole town while drunk.
@@fiammanerapatrick3215 That's not true, Bill literally says "heartless son of a bitch, but he had a heart, if that makes sense". Did you even watch the video?
(Take this with a grain of salt ) When Arthur talks to Dutch while he’s smoking in Horseshoe Overlook, your given an Item Quest to bring Dutch a pipe. In the official game you give it to him and that’s it. What was cut was that when you give it to him. Dutch asks how Arthur was able to escape the commotion and regroup with the others at the northern Blackwater border. Arthur sadly admits that when Boadicea ( his previous horse ) has been shot in a gunfight, he was pinned with Mac. What Mac did was that he let Arthur take his own horse while he holds the Pinkertons off, believing that they both won’t have time to escape and Mac decided to be the distraction. Arthur apparently would never tell anyone else this, and it’s interesting how this was cut out of the game, plus the extra dialogue that the Gunslinger Coat used to be Mac’s, Arthur would say that in another conversation cut-out that he would’ve had with Hosea
I can see them having cut that out so we can have a big reveal at the end of red dead 3 that after we’ve grown to love and mourn mac as he’s dying he gives his coat to Arthur and holds the Pinkertons off so he can escape to rdr2. My god what an ending to a game I know nothing about
@@cadestockman5731 Basically a repete of rdr 1 ending . I got that from a website called amino apps so I don't know how true it is hence the ( take this with a grain of salt ). It is said in game while arthur took Jack fishing that andrew milton interrogated a dying mac callandar Then killed him sort of a mercy killing . Every thing comes full circle.
That’s exactly how the game could end Arthur and John running away arthur gives him his hat and holds off the Pinkertons then well we know the rest I have a feeling in rdr3 we will play as mac or at least see him
I really wish we got to meet the Callander brothers. They seemed like alot of fun. The things we know are 1. They were violent and reckless 2. They were amoung the best gunmen 3. They never shut up 4. One loved to fight, the other loved to drink 5. They probably hated Micah as much as Arthur did.
He can't be you realise the point of RDR is that main protagonist gets redeemed and dies in the end. Mac and davey did not have any redemption they simply died. So no rockstar is gonna have to create a new story.
Dutch Van Der Linde we don’t know 100% if mac died, sure he got shot pretty bad but milton might have lied about him being shot to death to piss off Arthur. Mac could have possibly ran off after that
These callendar boys need a redemption story. They opened up the East part of the map. Time to open the west and finally see the ferry job. Epilogue play as Arthur. I need more from these characters.
In “Exit pursued by a bruised ego”, Hosea mentions Mac threatening to kill the whole town of Deer Creek. I have a strong feeling that when rdr3 comes out, we will be playing as Mac for the whole story, and in that mission we do exactly as Hosea says what happened to the town. The mission will be called “Outside a building, inside a town.” I bet it will be called that
Who's that? The Protagonist in RDR3 (if there will ever be one I just think they're gonna keep adding things to RDR2 because of how good it looks and how long it took to make.) but the protagonist in RDR3 will be Young Hosea
@@MrBlack252 Mac or Davey Callander. I think we might see a third Red Dead within 10 years. Playing as Hosea would be great, and I approve, but if they want the potential trilogy to be more poetic, the protagonist needs to die at the end. Playing as Arthur in the epilogue would be so cool. They may just go further back in time and have us play as a new character we never heard of because the gang heads straight to Colter after the botched Blackwater job.
@@RustCohle072 yeah but think about it, if you play as one of the Callander boys you know their fates. So it restricts you from investing in that character because you know they die. @@ghostwolf94 Nah rdr3 will be set with the war. I think that'd be a interesting change n only rockstar could pull it off. Get flashbacks of the blackwater scene from Mac and get redeemed since Mac is most likely racist and have a crisis about his brother
This is why I think in RDR3, we'll be playing as Mac or Davy, most likely Mac because we never got see him, I also think RDR3 will end with Macs death and we the player will get to see how it happened.
I ain’t gonna lie when bill called him heartless but had a heart that was the same thing Mickey said about Arthur to John “crazy guy but he had a heart” there’s no doubt in my mind that Mac callander is the next protagonist for red dead redemption 3
We saw Davey Callander, we saw jenny in Arthur's journal, but we never saw Mac Callander. If RDR3 happens i think we'll get to play as Mac. Maybe Milton lied about Mac.
I have a feeling when the DLC will come out, we will feel very sad for Mac, Davey and Jenny’s death and that massacre in Blackwater will be in the final mission
It will not come out, at least not Blackwater DLC. It's been a year since the game came out and no leaks or trailers or anything. Probably nothing ain't coming
There is also a random campfire dialogue in which Mrs. Grimshaw briefly mentions that it is sad that Davey died + a dialogue in Shady Belle in which Karen in a depressed state reminisces about Jenny and the Callander Boys
If they do another prequel, Mac should definitely be the character, you never see him, not even a picture, so you could make him your own character like we did with Arthur, they tease his character so much about how he had a heart but was heartless, which could tease another return of the honor system, like how they did with Arthur in rdr2, also the gang fondly remembers him so obviously his character would be good, I think Mac would be perfect
Cant wait to play as mac in rdr3, the signs are there. He was ruthless, but also had a heart (keep it vague for high/low honor), Everyone liked em (player character), and he was never shown since he would be customizable
my guess for davey is that he was constantly getting mac into trouble, seeing as he was apparently a liability and crazy. So Im guessin the plot will involve mac trying to become a better man and davey betrays em
No one notice how much Arthur looks first worried when Milton talked about Mac, then got really mad. I feel like he never got that mad even at Sean or Lenny's death. But for Mac, he was angry af Maybe Arthur had a special relationship with him ?
I doubt this, there's interaction with Charles that shows Arthur agreeing with him about the Callanders being vicious bastarda and nothing more than that. I guess he was just pissed knowing the Pinkertons had killed one more
Anybody peep Dutch reaction when Arthur tells Dutch about Mac being caught by the Pinkertons? It was shady as hell the way he reacted lol and him saying he “figured as much” makes me think he possibly had something to do with Mac being shot up before the Pinkertons finished him off like Milton said. Maybe they could explore Mac’s character in RD3?
It’d be really cool if the next rdr or a dlc was about the davey and Mac and it could use the same mechanics from gta v where you can switch between characters like before they joined the vanderlinde gang and it shows how they joined and at the end it’ll be the black water heist
Rockstar has crazy potential for an amazing prequel. Have two player characters, Mac and Davey. Mac is high honour but Davey is low honour. Could have some amazing paralles with John and Arthur’s relationship. I think having a different story than the Van Der Linde gang would ruin the series in the eyes of many fans. The redemption series should be about the van der linde gang. If they want a different gang or setting it should not have the name redemption. If any members of Rockstar is reading this. Make it happen.
Micah being one of the gang's fastest gunslingers and Charles being one of the gang's strongest, hearing them say that the Callander boys were tough makes me think that they're either as good as John/Arthur or they're better. I don't think they could make any redemption story with those but if there were any Red Dead story in the future where we play as a completely different character, I wish that we could meet the gang when they were at their peak, where the callander boys are still alive so we could see them in action
I wish we could have seen the Callander boys in action. They sound like badass characters. I get the feeling they would reflect Charlie Prince from 3:10 To Yuma(2007) or the Sundance Kid from Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid(1969).
Anyone else hear about people talking about Mac’s death before Agent Milton tells Arthur that he’s dead? Same with the train robbery mission, Arthur mentions meeting Milton even though I hadn’t done that mission yet
I found onw easter egg about arthur becoming drunk and talking to lenny he will remember when he was drunk with arthur I am gonna publish it soon(now i cant)
@Testepoi Gamer Aww don’t be sad! There’s so many people out there looking for possibilities in so many games. People don’t really get special awards for finding things, so don’t feel too bad.
As much as I'd love to spend time with the gang again. I think it would be cool if we followed a different group of characters. I was thinking maybe a character belonging to the gang of the infamous gunslingers you kill as Arthur/John. (Jim Boy Calloway, Black Belle, Emmet Granger, Billy Midnight, Flaco Hernandez). Set during the "golden age" of the wild west for outlaws
My Arthur beat up 35 labor guys in Saint Denis once. Just antagonize one of them and therest of his boyfriends show up to beat you up untill u r dead. The police showed up and just watched the whole show. Then I ran away and the police didn't go for me.
feel as if this is foreshadowing red dead redemption 3 and it will tell more about the callenders, especially since rdr 1 is what happened after rdr2, maybe rdr2 will be after rdr3
Rdr3 idea 1894, you play as Davey Callandar, the story takes place in the part of the map in rdr2 that is over the hills of the dessert. His brother, Mac, also serves in gang. During the year we also see a younger Arthur and John, and few new members like Bill Williamson and Abigail. The year end with Hoseas wofe dying from a mysterious disease. In this year, Dutch and Colm Odrisco are close. 1895, this year starts off with Davey and his brother in the gang, Mac, finding out on a secret treasure hidden in Mexico, they go to Mexico, and engage in a massive shootout leaving Mac arrested in Mexico, this makes Davey go on a quest to save his brother and finds few new people, (think soemthing like the set up for fort Mercer in rdr1but in Mexico) one of those people he teams up with is Javier who is trying to escape Mexico, Davey promises him a life in America of he helps him, he does and Davey, Mac and Javier come back to America. The rest of the year is spend with the gang and Jack is born, and later on, John disappears, the gang also moves to a new camp located in Armadillo. The year ends with Colm betraying Dutch starting a war, this leads to Dutchs wofe getting killed by Colm. 1896, the gang move closer to Blackwater, somewhere further away than thieves landing, Dutch wants to expand to compete with Colm, and creates multiple camps, he stays near Blackwater, but makes few new camps, in the swamps of Saint Denis, outside Strawberry, and further north of Annesburg. This year is spend mostly working in different camps, towards the end, most members from those camps turn on Dutch for not being seen as nothing much and Turn to Colms side. John returns and begins being a terrible father. Before John left, Arthur treated him like a brother, now since John returns, Arthur hardly speaks to him. Davey, Mac and a young Sean, find about a bank to rob in Annesburg, they got the lead from an anonymous source, later on it is revealed that the source was Micah Bell, thrown out of a different gang, Davey tells him that for someone like Micah it can take few years to get into Dutchs gang. The robbery on the bank leads Annesburg to be the poor city we see in 1899. The few gang members from the other camps that decide to stick with Dutch are only a small amount, one of them that sticks with Dutch is Jenny who worked as a thief for the gang outside of Strawberry, the few other members that stick with Dutch from other camps end up dying to a massive raid made by Colm. At the end, it switches to Arthur, the game does not kill Davey since he dies at the begging of rdr2. 1897 (epilogue part 1), Arthur is tasked by Dutch to try and track down Colm, while also getting some strong leads on money making opportunities, Arthur leaves the camp and while his time away he also tries to find Mart but finds no success. 1899 (epilogue part 2) this section is only available after finishing all other years, you can access these missions by going to sleep and waking up in the time before the Blackwater massacre, the last mission is the Blackwater massacre where you play in a 3 character system like in gta 5, you play as Davey, on the diversion team 1 alongside Mac, Sean, Jenny and John. You also play as Arthur the team that enters the bank and takes money, soon they get split up and you first have to fight of lawman as Arthur, and then you switch to Davey, watching Jenny get killed, injured Mac creating a diversion for Sean and injured Davey to get away with, while running away, you can hear a tired Mac getting confronted by Agent Milton. And then Arthur finds Davey and Sean, you switch to Arthur and help to get Davetly to safety, which we know he ends up dying in Colter, Sean decides to go back for Mac, not knowing what happened yet, but you can see Sean in the background trying to run away towards Armadilo.
I really like to think these 2 would be the next protagonist of RDR3, and have a switch function like GTA 5. Dave and Mac has a harsh tough love relation with a reason, maybe mac has done something that Davey would never forget. In the end, Davey got shot, Mac redeem himself by helping his brother, carrying him and told them to take him with the others and escapes, while he stays, sacrificing himself and pull the last 6 shot of his life. Like John.
Nico Slade they won’t keep going back if they are they will play a young Dutch. Personally I’d love that because we’d grow to love him as a character without any hate.
Salgado noooo not adult jack. 2 reasons I just end the game after he kills Ross so I imagine he goes into a regular life like his parents wanted and he was such a shitty character imo as an older lad. Like how’d he go from weak little boy to John marston 2.0
Hoping that if we get an RDR3 set even further back that it'll have GTA V's character switching and with one or maybe both of the Callanders on the roster.
Do a lemonade There is a Possibility that Mac Callander escaped on his own and could not return to the gang because he never knew where they were camping. Milton lied to Arthur about Mac's death to Break Arthur Mentally And Emotionally. But Trelawny confirms in One Mission that Mac Callander is Dead. So it means he really is Dead...
Rodeo Rodeo But i guess He is still Alive and Escapes with some Bullet Wounds. Maybe he could have Gone to The Northern side and Escaped The Gang to Live a Peaceful Life. I hope we get to Play as Mac in Red Dead Redemption 3.
I really wish this is R* setting up the narrative for RDR3 with Mac as the main character. If it's true, then it'll be the perfect circle ending to the story of the Van Der Linde gang. Even if we know the story will ultimately end with the Blackwater massacre, R* can still play around with the gang's rivalry with the O'Driscolls, how the ferry job really went down, who ratted on the gang, seeing how each member got inducted, and really flesh out the characters that were introduced RDR2 (Arthur, Lenny, Hosea, Sean, Molly, Colm O' Driscoll, Micah, the girls, Pearson, Grimshaw, and Trelawney) It definitely works in the sense of storytelling. The thing that made RDR2 super depressing is seeing what could've been if circumstances were a little different, while also knowing how it all ends in RDR1. I want to see the same thing in RDR3.
My theory is that RDR3 will have a "GTA V" style of gameplay, you'll first play as Dutch, and then when he meets Hosea, you'll be able to play as him too, and finally, the third playable character will be Mac,and the final mission will be the Blackwater Ferry Job, and Mac's redemption will be that he stays and fights till death, to let the gang escape.
That'd be a damn big game, i reckon they won't do that. Arthur alone has 20 years of gang, imagine the time gap between Dutch and Hosea and the Callender boys
@@lucabrandao5243 Fair point xD. I think they will show how the most important gang members came by (Dutch and Hosea obviously, Arthur and John, and also the Callander boys) and then they will show something like "a few years later", and we see the whole gang as we know and have seen in RDR2 plus the missing ones. After that "timeskip" we see a more mature version of the first gang members, and we get to play the prep missions that would lead to the Blackwater heist. Plus, (this is most unlikely, but it could happen) they could release DLCs that show how each of the other minor gang members were found by Dutch.
At the begging of the game, even Micah says he liked those Callender boys. If the game was an absolute masterpiece just imagine how RDR2 would have been with Mac and Davey Callander in the game ...
@Whos your Daddy?Honestly, I could see Mac and Davey having that brother ying and yang. One is naive and the other one being the wiser. Hopefully this explains how the Van Der Linde Gang formed. We can see Morgan's and Marston's inclusion. I always pictured Mac as the no B.S uncle to the both of them and this could be the final game to end it as a trilogy. Final Mission is Mac gunning his way through Pinkerton Agents at Blackwater.

Ok so here’s what we know about mac:
1. Died in a final last stand in black water, or escaped black water and died later either due to wounds or due to the pinkertons catching up to him, the details aren’t clear but I think the final last stand in black water is the most likely way for mac to go
2. He was close with bill, Sean, hosea, davey, Dutch, uncle, and Arthur
3. He beats up 15 sailors
4. He was a heartless man, but he had a heart
5. Mac was known as a good man, at least from bill
6. He was fun to rob with
7. Karen liked to tease the callander boys
8. They were a liability

According to cut content, it was Mac who gave Arthur his coat and his horse to get away from Blackwater after Arthur’s horse Boadicea had died in the fighting.

I love the comparison between the Callander boys and Micah. All three were vicious gunmen who could shoot up a whole town for the gang, but whilst nobody had any genuine love for Micah, everybody talked about the Callanders and missed them after they died.
Charles and Lenny both didn't like them. They might have been racist.
I disagree. Micah shot up a whole town for himself (to get his guns back). Not denying that the Callander boys could have been as vicious as Micah, but they were actually loyal to the gang, hence why most gang members spoke about them with grief and remembrance.
“We try to save each other, when we can.”
What a lie Dutch shows how much he’s changed
He was gonna leave john to hang and arthur to be killed by soilders never really loved them like he said just a good actor who was evil deep down

The death of the gang members along the story (mostly Hosea) made him a real changed man

@@mustachecontroller1096 yeah thats it but he also started to listen to Micah because Arthur and John didnt want that life anymore
My theory is the game will out around 2030
Yes because Davey model was shown, but Mac model never shown maybe because he's customizable maybe??
it’s either that or when john leaves the gang for a year

@@xvxvcaspervxvx yeah and the prologue is them in the snow and nothing goes wrong until you play rdr2 again. But I dont see rockstar doing that.

At 4:05 Lenny said “cant speak ill of the dead” and everyone at that tables death scene ran through my head
That was sean
Like AC 4 BIack Flag ending when Edward Kenway looks at the table.
You never know? Mac could be alive? And agent Milton was just trying to scare Arthur and Jack.
Unlikely but you never know?!
Jenny joined around the same time as Micah so if we got to see Jenny we’d have to put up with Micah as well unfortunately
I would like to learn more about them
It’s also weird seeing Bill miss them
So we saw Davey on screen (albeit briefly) and he died of his wounds from Blackwater.
Is there a link to these voice lines?

@@bobbys1308 Alright then, but it still seems like they were pretty reckless. I guess they could be like Arthur though.
(Take this with a grain of salt )
When Arthur talks to Dutch while he’s smoking in Horseshoe Overlook, your given an Item Quest to bring Dutch a pipe.

I think Mac Callander might be the main character of RDR3.
There is also a random campfire dialogue in which Mrs. Grimshaw briefly mentions that it is sad that Davey died + a dialogue in Shady Belle in which Karen in a depressed state reminisces about Jenny and the Callander Boys
Maybe red dead redemption 3 will be a prequel to a prequel with the main character being Mac Callander

I've always thought Mac will be the protag for RDR3. The way Arthur reacted to his death.
Sean: *well stinky feet Morgan saved me*
Morgan: *literally in front of him* 🤔
It’d be really cool if the next rdr or a dlc was about the davey and Mac and it could use the same mechanics from gta v where you can switch between characters like before they joined the vanderlinde gang and it shows how they joined and at the end it’ll be the black water heist
No wonder this game took so long. Had to put in the small details.
Sean seems like the only person in the gang (besides Dutch) that Bill didn’t have a problem with lol.
I wish we could have seen the Callander boys in action. They sound like badass characters. I get the feeling they would reflect Charlie Prince from 3:10 To Yuma(2007) or the Sundance Kid from Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid(1969).
I feel like they are trying to set up the callander brothers as the protagonists for rdr3 so that it wouldn’t be a plot hole like Arthur in RDR 1
I think so.
Anyone else hear about people talking about Mac’s death before Agent Milton tells Arthur that he’s dead? Same with the train robbery mission, Arthur mentions meeting Milton even though I hadn’t done that mission yet

1894, you play as Davey Callandar, the story takes place in the part of the map in rdr2 that is over the hills of the dessert.

I really wish this is R* setting up the narrative for RDR3 with Mac as the main character. If it's true, then it'll be the perfect circle ending to the story of the Van Der Linde gang. Even if we know the story will ultimately end with the Blackwater massacre, R* can still play around with the gang's rivalry with the O'Driscolls, how the ferry job really went down, who ratted on the gang, seeing how each member got inducted, and really flesh out the characters that were introduced RDR2 (Arthur, Lenny, Hosea, Sean, Molly, Colm O' Driscoll, Micah, the girls, Pearson, Grimshaw, and Trelawney)
It definitely works in the sense of storytelling.
I hope it doesn't let you switch characters freely
@@tracyrae4854 Why not?
@@elgrillocantor87 because it detracts from the story
At the begging of the game, even Micah says he liked those Callender boys. If the game was an absolute masterpiece just imagine how RDR2 would have been with Mac and Davey Callander in the game ...
Thumbs up for a Mac Callender Story for Red Dead Redemption 3.
Yeah
@Whos your Daddy?Honestly, I could see Mac and Davey having that brother ying and yang. One is naive and the other one being the wiser.
Hopefully this explains how the Van Der Linde Gang formed. We can see Morgan's and Marston's inclusion. I always pictured Mac as the no B.S uncle to the both of them and this could be the final game to end it as a trilogy.
Final Mission is Mac gunning his way through Pinkerton Agents at Blackwater.
@@TheSetesis
Mac and Davey joined way after Arthur though.
@@paliboy93 Ah fuck, well maybe they can retcon that. Idk I just miss this game. And I find it interesting how Arthur reacted when Milton eluded to Mac's death.
The original gangsters of the gang are dutch, hosea, and arthur everyone came after those 3
