I’m a flutist, playing this for a recital in May. When I play this it feels to me like the perfect soundtrack for a montage of someone who’s left us. As I play I see images of my lost mother, and a parrot and bunny I lost in recent years. I cry when I play it. It is so beautiful. When I perform it I will encourage the audience to close their eyes and see images of loved ones…So grateful to have discovered such beautiful music. Thank you Herman Beeftink.💕 Nothing against classical music, but this is something so unique and special. Also working on Squirrels, although only got it to 148…not 172 yet! Curious, if there was some scenario that paired with this music…maybe a Spring scene? or a story behind it…
So look at the flute sheet music on his channel, and you're going to play -one whole step- above the notes you see. You can find a simple how to transpose from C instrument to Bb instrument on youtube or google. Look at a piano or just listen if you're not sure. Hope this helped. Good luck!
