阿弥陀佛🙏。 The only different between knowledge and wisdom. Is that wisdom precedes time and space. How true is that? Well the answer was experience counts. ??????? See the are many Professors, the already and the becoming. Not all will awarded with Nobel prize? Therefore the award only given to those whose work surpassed the impact of current time and space of other Professors. The work of nobel's prize holder was experience that never stops. I don't despise anyone unless I am able to help him/her, Awareness of this, never despise anyone out of the comparison between yourself and the person. Unless you see this happening to yourself then only you stopped doing to others. When someone did it to you again, you had the experiences now and you are able to help that person who despised you first. So now you had knowledge of words from school to a responsible person of the world we all lives in.

對師父來美國的最初幾年經歷及師父的最早的美國弟子瞭解愈多，我愈發驚嘆。是什麼因緣讓那些弟子找到了師父？那些拓荒弟子在完全沒有佛法的國度長大。沒有一個人聽說過和尚或者見過和尚。按照果州居士（哈佛大學畢業生）的話說，師父來自月球。這個說法一點也不誇張。20世紀60年代的美國沒幾個中國人，更別說和尚了；那時候沒有網絡把整個世界變成地球村而讓所有人得以感知不同文化。
那麼，師父的早期弟子到底是如何認知師父是大善知識呢？畢竟，師父並沒有向任何人透露師父在中國已經是有成千上萬弟子的一代宗師了。而且，師父不會英語，師父的拓荒弟子大多數不懂漢語；即便是幾個学過幾年漢語的弟子，他們的漢語水平也不足夠理解佛經的水平。他們是如何和師父互動的呢？
對於那些拓荒弟子來說，他們當時經歷了多麼大的生活方式的轉變呀！生長於美國中產階層家庭，他們習慣於好的飲食，舒適的生活環境，及悠閒的生活。是什麼力量讓他們二三十人和師父擠在一個面積約1300平方尺、只有馬桶、沒有洗手池的公寓里？他們是如何從睡沙發床一下子轉變到在一個狹小的簡陋木框里不倒單的呢？是什麼力量讓他們從以前的美食裝滿冰箱到一日一餐而且是素食的呢？是什麼力量讓他們從年年歲歲的晨昏顛倒到從每天早晨五點一直到晚上10點連續聽經96天 -- 之間只有幾次短短五分鐘的休息？
這一切的一切都為「不可思議」做了有血有肉的注腳。師父不可思議，師父的拓荒弟子不可思議。不同於今天網絡時代的佛弟子有很多的師父生平事跡及開示彈指可及，那些弟子幾乎沒有任何辦法瞭解師父；他們卻找到了師父並皈依。這些對中國人來說可能覺得沒什麼大不了，因為很多中國人都聽說過像六祖惠能大師這樣的一聞即悟的故事，幾乎每個中國人都聽說過佛、見過佛像、拜過佛、或念過佛，哪怕是口念心不念。這一切植根於我們幾千年的文化里。相反，美國是佛法的荒蠻之地，沒有佛像，沒有佛經，沒有寺廟等等，一直持續到師父1962年來美國弘法。
第一次聽經聞法，96天後竟然有五個人出家！一個已婚媽媽竟然能夠出家成為大德法師恆持師！一個被警察追捕的逃犯竟然成為終身奉獻給佛法的果法師兄！一個整日與吸毒隱君子們混跡的放蕩青年竟然成為終身護法的果霑師兄！一個有博士學位的易象乾竟然成為膜拜師父的果容師兄！
不可思議！說也說不完。拓荒弟子不可思議。師父不可思議。佛法不可思議。佛不可思議。
2020年，我向師父的法相拜了一萬拜，皈依了師父。現在。我每天修行功課里都有師父。我58歲生日夜裡夢見了師父。師父和我一起吃飯，師父咬了一口饅頭，放在桌上；我想我要吃一口師父咬過的饅頭，這是大福報。」我真的咬了一口！這是我有生以來最好的生日禮物！
师父有莫名的感召力，我有时见到师父的相片，我都流泪，特别是遇到困难的时候😊。感觉他在对我说，不要担心会化解的。
