- The Phaze 2 is one of the best balls Storm has ever made. It's in tournament bags all over the country and there is NO pro on tour that goes anywhere without at least one of them. It's the number one ball in my bag for obvious reasons!

Currently on my second p2. The ball always finds a way to get it done, and when nothing else in the bag has a look, the p2 will. 2 plus years later this ball is still going strong 💪
I don't buy several bowling balls a year. Phaze II is my only ball I use and us fantastic. Bowled my 3rd 300 game and 1st 800 series with it.
Just had a tournament the weekend, and my P2 saved me. Lanes were flooded at the head and down the lane. For some reason UFO just wasn’t doing it, but the P2 was a boss. Avg’d 193 on sport shot today. Yesterday my P3 was the King. They are a great 1-2 punch

My phaze 2 just came in today and getting it drilled tomorrow. It’s my first ever ball that isn’t a hand down. Finally going to have a ball custom drilled to my hand and that’s so exciting to me. Gonna hit the lanes and rack up my average!

You should totally do a Phaze II vs Wild Streak comparison. For "benchmark" type reactions that work on a wide variety of conditions, those two are golden.
I just ordered a Phase 2 from my local pro shop a few days ago...this video just helps reinforce my decision. I can't wait!
Update: I got my phase 2 today. Can hook the whole lane on fresh and the carry is insane.
Haha yup, glad you like it! I think this is my 3rd one, and I have a 4th one in the basement that's about to get drilled.
How many games will Phaze II last in your opinion?
This video really helped me in deciding where this ball will be in my arsenal.
In the 6 months of learning bowling and getting better in league I think the P2 is the best ball in my bag. I hope it's never discontinued.
It’s such a god ball for me, I have a second one sitting in the basement undrilled. Same story on the Phaze 3.

Totally agree one of the best balls ever made that along with the physix. The physix to me is as good as the phaze 2.

I just got mine and threw my first 80 game!
So I'm sitting with what I want is a 6 ball arsenal. 1. Physix, 2.debating P2 or Axiom, 3. Nuke Cell, 4. All Road, 5 Hyroad Pearl, 6. Pitch Purple. Thoughts?

Very similar, ZM is a little earlier and slower, I’d just get a new P2 honestly
What kind of layout would make it versatile or more usable on widest variety of patterns. Will layout dictate pin up or pin down?
Really depends more on your game and the conditions, layouts are best left up to a good pro shop operator who knows your game and the conditions, just too many variables to throw something out there.
Was about to purchase this but figured I'd ask first if the P2 will overlap w the new Idol Cosmos
Not really, P2 is a fair amount more aggressive that you won't have any practical overlap

Struggling to decide phaze ii or iq tour… I struggle to keep it right on the dry stuff so I think the p2 may be a bit much??? Looking to start getting into league bowling and don’t want to not have something for a heavier pattern when the time comes.
Currently using a Hammer Raw Black solid, electrify Pearl, and a widow ghost. Lookin to add a higher end solid ball. IQ Tour or Phaze 2?!? Help! I know this is known as a very versatile ball and the IQ is benchmark city. Any feedback is much appreciated
If you already have the Raw Black Solid, the IQ Tour is going to be more of the same, so you might look at the Phaze 2, and if you get onto dry lanes, that's what your electrify pearl is for
@@LukeRosdahl awesome thanks for the reply. Glad I made the choice I did. Went with the phaze 2 and chose a burner Pearl instead of the electrify but I know they’re very similar.
Not sure if you will see this however I’m debating getting a super soniq along with a p2. I know your not a huge super fan but could you see along side a p2?
Yeah definitely, I don't see them being very similar at all. They look good for pretty well everyone else lol, and I WISH I could get along with a Son!Q because I really like the way they roll.
Currently my only bowling balls are a pro motion and a spare ball, do you think a phaze 2 would be a good ball to add to the arsenal or is it similar to the pro motion?
It's too similar for what you already own, would you like something stronger or weaker than a Pro Motion?

Ok, I'd suggest something like the 900 Global Reality Check. More hook, but also a sharper reaction to help you get more punch on the backend.

@@liamfitzpatrick3765 It'd be similar strength to your pro motion but be more dynamic, easier length, but definitely stronger on the backend. That might be a great option for you too, maybe better than the Reality Check
Hey Luke, I just ordered a Phaze II and I’m wondering what layout would have some roll, but not too early down lane. I have roughly 500 rpms and I mainly bowl on sport shots. Thanks! (great vid btw)

Hey Luke...love the videos. I'm a fairly new bowler, one year into league bowling and looking at getting a new ball. I currently have a Storm Black Pearl, I bowl with no thumb and I have a hard time keeping it on the right side of the head pin, especially if it is a little dry out there, it cuts hard and quick in the end. Do you think the Phase II will be easier to control or what ball do you suggest?
Mike Henry Phaze 2 actually hooks quite a bit more, and if the black pearl is hooking too much, you might want to look at the Pitch Purple, it’s a nice blend of smooth and enough pop to get the pins down

I am a new bowler (5 weeks in a league) average of 150. looking to get better. I currently have a Hustle AU Pearl and it works a lot better on the third game. my average there is 178. I am looking for a ball that will do better on the longer oil in game 1 and 2 i believe its 43-45 feet house pattern .My approach is from the right and i aim at board 10or so. Would the Phaze 2, Idol pro or wild streak be good options? I do not like to move around to much yet on lane as I am looking to get more consistent. Any information would help. I love the videos!
Yeah, really any of those 3. I'd probably lean more towards Phaze 2 or Idol Pro, the Wild Streak can go a little long if you don't have a ton of revs.
@@LukeRosdahl Thank you. I do not know my rev rate but throw about 15.5-16.5 MPH with a 14lb ball @ 57 years old! Should i still look to use the Hustle in the third game or drier conditions?

What's the difference between the IQ Tour solid and the Phaze II?
The Phaze 2 has both a stronger core and a stronger cover. They're both still controllable, the P2 is just built for heavier oil.

I'm still salty over the HC Fused being discontinued.
True. That ball has been a killer for a lot of people.
I'm a 2 hander, but the fused is the most reliable shiny asym you'll find out there.
While I did like the physix, it gave me more of a motion that my Drive gave me with more torque on the backend.
Keep your eyes on Storm's Premier line for the next month or two . .
i have the hrp right now and trying to decide between the p2 or p3 to add to my arsenal..what do u think? im a 2 hander and i bowl on mostly med to dry. thanks Luke.
I'd actually avoid both of those and go with an IQ Tour or IQ Emerald. Probably the tour to give you a cover difference. You'll need medium heavy conditions for the P2 and P3 if you're two handed.

Nah, 14s are actually gaining popularity because you don’t lose much performance or power, they’re more comfortable to throw, and you can throw them harder and rev them more than 15s generally. I think you’ll be just fine

A quite a bit stronger version, but yeah they look similar on the lane.

Yep, this one is a definite step up in strength from all of those.
@LukeRosdahl but with slowr speed and revs is it Controllable?
It's controllable but it's going to be strong. If the balls you have are already strong enough, may not be a good idea, but if you find yourself needing something stronger occasionally, this would be a great choice.

3-4 boards, a couple feet earlier too if you keep surface on it.
I have a p2 its weird it uses up most of its energy when I throw idk if it's just the lanes I try it on or what but I can't get mine to comeback but me n my Crux prime get along n my hyroad gets along sometimes idk maybe it's the way I throw it
Probably the lanes are too dry.
