  • Europa is a fascinating moon, which is thought to be hiding a global ocean below its frozen surface. This makes it a hotspot for research and missions, with the ultimate goal being to identify an independent life source on the moon. In this video, we will go over the satellite of Jupiter by the numbers, as we uncover its mysteries!

Imagine if Europa was the original source of life in our solar system, via its water eruptions of microbes into space - thus seeding Earth. I thought of this when the narrater mentioned eruptions of water 150 km into space. Early Europa may have been a more stable environment than early Earth, its ocean floor is protected from radiation, meteorite impact, etc. and probably has a very stable temp., combine that with a launch mechanism (water volcanism).
