Remember when we could farm real Rough AD with Leadership and salvage epic gear for Rough AD? And every character could refine 36k AD per day? THAT was why so many characters with maxed Leadership was so worthwhile. And any of them could see Rhix and run dungeons. Now, it's just the Invoking Coins for 3% drop of BtA Coal Motes and double unbound Epic Enchanting Stones on Double RP. I still have 72 Bound Coals and hundreds of EES. Plus a stack of Elixirs every now and then when I get 500 Ardent Coins. And we can make a lot of gold. I save up a few hundred Coffers of Celestial Refinement and open them all on one character. {:o:O:}
I’m returning to this game after 6 years and just looking at everything has blown my brain up. I’m one video down and this channel has already helped so I just want to say thanks :)
As someone who's only been playing on ps4 for a year now. I'm noticing, I feel sort of gatekept from end game content or higher content. Obtaining coal motes has become ridiculously hard. Obtaining higher quality gear turns into a circular reasoning problem. You need the currency from the higher content to get the higher gear. You can't really play the higher content though until you get the higher grade gear. The only way you can get that gear is by playing the higher level content you can't play without the higher grade gear. Ulgh.. A lot of the end game players want you to have certain mounts and companions the game just doesn't drop. Sometimes it will be stuff you just can't obtain anymore, like the stuff from the trail of the Bleeding Citadel; can't get it because that event is gone. There's weapons there that I could get if it wasn't gone and I have the currency for. Those weapons would jump start me to be able to pay higher end content that would start giving me access to really good gear, but nope it's all locked up and only available for people who've completed it in the past all account bound. I worked really hard on the grind to get the mirage weapons to help me out. Then the dev's decided to nurf them because some of the end game players I guess had a problem with lower levels out competing them on their DPS score, and they didn't think that was fair. A lot of those end game players don't want me to play, even though I'm fairly leveled up and have finished literally all the campaigns and legacy campaigns. No one does dragon hunts anymore. So, I'm not good enough, yet, for higher content, but the things they want me to get to be "good enough" keep getting nurffed or locked, or held behind a pay wall (I'm disabled do I'm very poor). I'm kind of stuck, there's tons of content I haven't played yet, as far as advanced, master dungeons, trails and reapers. If I could play those I might get the much needed coal motes and higher quality weapons and gear as well as more AD. Since I'm "not good enough" I just kind of stand around PE waiting for regular dungeons or advanced dungeons. Which regular dungeons have become like skirmishes to me. Can't find people who actually know the mechanics of random advanced dungeon ques and they always quit expecting high item level DPS to carry them I guess (even though you're scaled down which I suppose they don't realize). I don't understand why these end game players, which I'm sure not all see it this way. Would not want someone caught between advanced dungeon ques being like normal dungeons, but "not good enough" for more advanced content. Why they wouldn't want someone to have weapons or gear that would allow them to be at least "good enough." We all start somewhere right? Have they just been playing for so long they've forgotten? Have they been so far removed from how beginning the game has changed they don't even know? I hope my guild leader comes back because she wasn't on board with the elitist attitude some of the higher level players have. From my own personal experience being a "god" on Tomb Raider at one point. I can tell you, not teaching people, not growing the community and thus the platform will turn the game into a vacant wasteland of tumble weeds. I saw it on Tomb Raider when all the triple 60's started treating all the noobs like food. I saw it on The Last Of Us. I started to see it on Vigor, where the dev's there put more value on the meanest players that were chasing people off the game. It's a game killer when the community that inhabits the game fills up with the most narcissistic competitive players that treat new comers terribly. Especially when the dev's go out of their way to catere to them and squelch the new players. Literally I sit at PE for very LLLLOOOONNNGGG periods of time doing nothing. There's tons of content I've not even seen, new stuff as well as old stuff.
*_"...circular reasoning problem. You need the currency from the higher content to get the higher gear. You can't really play the higher content though until you get the higher grade gear."_* I feel you, but people have been saying that since Mod 3. I started in Mod 2. But this might be a good post to make on the official forum. *_"there's tons of content I haven't played yet, as far as advanced, master dungeons, trails and reapers."_* Me too. I don't bother with it. The Devs even said _"It's not for everyone"._ You can still do Random queues for Seals and the odd drop of decent gear, Unbind Tokens, Shards etc. I have not chased "End Game" since Mod 10 and my main has not even done any of the recent mods. I preferred when we could get Account-Bound gear with Seals that stayed Account-Bound on equip, so my Alts could use it. Four sets were needed for all 9 classes. They stopped that after the Weathered Wood gear from Sharandar. Then, they made it so that my main Cleric could not even buy any Seal gear for my Tank, or any other classes. Except Shirt and Pants. Then they introduced gear that needed special campaign currencies, PLUS 100s of thousands of AD. No thanks. For The Hero's Path, my main has everything except Mythic Collars and 80k, 90k Item level. The Collars will need 12,500 powder and 300 Greater Shards. Even during the Trade Bar discount, 20 Powder for 24 Bars, that will need 15,000 Trade Bars just for the powder. *_"It's a game killer when the community that inhabits the game fills up with the most narcissistic competitive players that treat new comers terribly."_* That's always been true as well. Although, the game is a lot less toxic than it was when I'd be kicked before the loot role at the end of the dungeon or for Needing on an item for my class. I'm glad "Greed Runs" are a thing of the past. Maybe you are approaching it the wrong way? Why do you want to get into Master level dungeons straight away? New mods always have a lower item level for a while at the start, so you can go to the zones and farm currencies. There are too many elite groups doing Master content as they don't want to fail the run. They have their own chat channels, so will not invite from Zone. You can get gear with Seals from random queues, as well as rAD, plus other drops from the end chest. And with Summer Festival you can get a tone of Insignia for the powder and Food Buffs Galore. You need to have friends and Guild Members for running dungeons etc, and Reaper's. Reaper's is not all that hard, really. Good Luck! {:o:O:}
@ansfridaeyowulfsdottir8095 I like everything you've said. I think the devs do it the way they do to tempt you into buying things with real money. I want to get into more end-game stuff because I want the gear. I want to max out my character so I can start a new one. I've done everything else except end-game content. I'm standing around PE doing nothing just like some of the end game players, but I'm not an end-game player, lol. Idk, I might be a little more satisfied if it were a bit easier to get the coal motes I need to finish fully upgrading my enchantments to celestial, which four are not even at mythic yet. I have the AD to get them from the auction house or convert into Zen (and I know that's a wait). I have enough stuff to upgrade, maybe one or two of my mount collars to legendary, possibly mythic. I'm holding onto my AD right now because I really badly want that black celestial lion that only comes around about one a year. I'm not even concerned about its stats. That mount just looks really cool to me. I guess I want the higher gear because I want to be good enough to play end-game content without being carried or being a burden on my teammates. I want to experience the dungeons and trails and face the challenges they have, if only at least once, just to see what they're like to experience. That's how I live life, I live for experience, and I don't like it when some rule or hierarchy stands in my way. Don't know how else to put it, I know it's just a game. Sometimes people just need a win, especially when this world and this life has its knife on your back. That comes from a very inner personal story of how I'm at where I'm at now. At a chapter in my life filled with uncertainty that is frankly scary in some aspects. To be personal and frank, I stare into the face of disability, untreated chronic pain, and medical abandonment. The possibility of losing my home, my marriage, and the loss of many dreams I thought were reasonable and obtainable goals. I face this as I head into my forties. I don't see many people anymore, including my family. I'll take a win where I can get one, even if it's miniscule and really nothing. Something positive to look forward to no matter how seemingly meaningless it could be. It's still a lot better than dwelling the very real possibility of a complete crash into a brick wall going 90mph. If that makes any sense, and possibly something only few can relate to, but not everyone; and I understand that.
I left the game just before the current mod dropped (28 I think), best thing I done for gaming. I got back into playing tons of fun games, like elden ring, vermintide 2, Shantae games, darktide, baldurs gate 3, unicorn overlord, Zelda totk, king Arthur a knights tale etc etc. you said what I said for a long time, that neverwinter has so much potential that they will never meet. So I had to bail, no more waiting for dungeon runs or bugs or bad patches to classes etc. It was my first and last mmo. I will never invest in an mmo again. All say this, if anything neverwinter needs a huge overhaul, it needs skills trees for the classes, not just 6 feats🤷🏿♂️... After playing oath of exile and enjoying that skill tree it just killed NW for me. Even games like borderlands 2 the characters have bigger better skill trees. The game needs a reboot and a overhaul of the skill trees.
First off, I’ll never forget the time I bumped into your toon ‘God’s Plan’ at Vellosk entrance! I recognized you and emoted, and you emoted back :D I run 9 toons and that’s too much sometimes, I can’t imagine in the 50s…
No non bis content since Chris Whiteside era only listening and giving private previewers ruined game's replay ability. A new alt used to be a new adventure taking up to a month to get to Max level then bis only complained and the entire progression system was destroyed to make them happy! Then they refused to do daily quest so the devs listened to bis only players again. 1 hour a week campaigns was introduced. Dungeons and trials used to be the reward now it is the only content and you get 3 tiers of player eternally stuck in 1 of the tiers master adv and normal. Players diversity that used to make the game fun is now damaging the game. The private previews think they are more important than the rest. Discord only content makes it unplayable for most! Devs saying "not meant for everyone" also does not help. The need team must address these issues or the player rot will continue!
I take the time to give you a different perspective - making content easy will not bring more players, it will lose the ones that play for the challenge. Who wants easy fun play time can do that now, without amputating the game for the others. You can make your own endgame groups, and if it is a price that you are not willing to pay, then be content with the truth that you do not really want to run master content. Yes, there are some players that got to endgame by being a social butterfly , but they also pay the price of keeping their lords happy and as soon as the group does not function - they are out of the game, most deleting their characters. And for preview- this will be the 2 dungeon without preview, I wonder what excuse you will find. Also, preview is free and beneficial to find out bugs.
Yes, they ripped the guts out of the game. Levelling up was the most fun part, and with three Paragon trees we had much more variation with different builds for the same class. But because the Toxic Elite thought only 1 or 2 builds were "viable" for "End Game", they destroyed them all. But 95% of the game was always Solo Play! {:o:O:}
@@magdalenavalentinastegaru8531 *_"preview is free and beneficial to find out bugs. "_* But there is no Test Server on Console, is there? They don't even have the Automatic Combat Logger. {:o:O:}
Thank you so much for this video. I've 48 chrs (on PC), I understand many of the issue been playing for over a decade. I have spreadsheets for gear, event daily, and even quest timer. I'm a dragon or a bot: hoarding mounts/companions/AD/and gold (70K), Account-wide items are nice. I like the combat system. Too many chrs is a curse. Have fun.

A lot of my guildmates do this and i always advice not to do it, because this is a toxic trait that burns you out from the game, this type of things give very little results. The time you invest doing that, you could invest it doing a single dungeon that can yield an item that is worth tons more than that.
If you have active guildies to run with, sure. But if like me recently, where hardly any guild or even alliance players are on, that just leaves the pug option. Having to run with pugs brings a higher risk of failure. I was trying to run pug queues to do my battle pass campaign, but just got sick of all the bullshit that brings with it. Taking over 50mins to get to the end boss in t9g, only to all die from the soulmonger attack, then have one of the bright sparks initiate a vote to abandon, and then have the other highly intelligent members of the team agree to this brilliant idea (like mindless lemmings following each other off a cliff), all while I yell at the the screen; "don't you fucking do it!!!", only to then see those dreaded words "instance shutting down in...", come on to the screen, is not my idea of a fun pass time. I can live with all the stupid glitches this game is plagued by, but it's the elitists dicks, the sheer number of absolute idiots, and the worst part; needing to rely on these "people" to progress in this game that make ask myself why I even bother to play it at all. The fun/time ratio is just too low.
you're absolutely right and a lot of it is still perspective. i think when people look back on how these casual daily grinds used to yield so much more value and were much less frustrating, it shows how this part of the game has been degraded over time. even your accurate comparison to running content instead even shows where the content side of the game has degraded too, since the rewards and the rewarding experience has been stripped down over time too. part of the issue i think is that your comment is 100% accurate today, but in the past both options were much much more valuable in terms of your experience and the rewards
@iKokoum back in the day, even the demogorgon trial was fun and rewarding and if everyone was even half adept at their role, you could beat it with a pug team. Then the devs decided to "fix" it and after that, if it came up on the random queues everyone, and I mean *EVERYONE* would one by one dip the hell out of there FAST. Even if they were endgame players. Should have been the first of many obvious red flags to the dev team that they were heading down a player base killing path, but here we are still.
"exchange sale expired" I could feel the pain :( I'm very happy you dropped this vid. we have to admid, that it is so easy to slip into where it feels like work and isnt fun anymore. happened to me more than once. then i always try to question what i really need to play the game the way i want. no need to have millions rad or gold. no need to play latest content on every class. i was there but it burnt me and nowadys its more about staying in touch with friends that have been made across the journey of nw. my daily routine is between 15-60 min for 21 toons, sometimes only 1 min to grab key. regarding workshop health potion rank 9 is the way to go, best output for time invested
Morning Ayva, I had never seen any of your videos before, I am a PC player and I have 53 characters on my main account. I played them all to level up to 20 and all have level 4 workshops. I have all my workshops creating items eveyday and with my routine if I empty the workshop box takes me roughly 16 minutes to invoke and empty. If I am not emptying boxes, as you know not needed everytime you invoke I am down to about 11 minutes. The issue of getting logged out is probably more to do with the console than the game, I had upgraded my computer and I started having lots of those issues, I finally found the issue it was the RAM I had purchased and installed. Anyway, yes if you let it this game can be a grind but I love NW and have been playing for about 8-9 years. Anyway I was sad to see you are not enjoying the game.
I just started playing again after about a year since my last hiatus. I tend to return to it once a year because I miss the combat. Then after the first day, I realize why I stopped playing. The amount of grind needed for better gear is absurd. Requiring players to come back for months on end to finally have enough resources to complete a campaign, or maybe only half of one. I somewhat understand it for the newest campaigns because they're trying to make the content last, but, by now they should've introduced a removal of time gating campaign currencies after the campaigns are over a year old. I'm playing the older campaigns because I want to know what happens, but that interest goes away when I'm forced to wait a week to continue progress. Which is usually when I stop playing the game until the next yearly desire for the combat.
I knew from the title of the last video that quitting was coming....just like I did, I still like to see the videos about the game and what not, but it's just TOO MUCH REPETITION for me. Have to run the same dungeon, play the same zone REPETITIVELY..it's too much of the same after while.
Back when I still played I had 53 characters. I just invoked them and didn't bother with professions that much on alts, but running things like events? That was a chore. Like a crazy one. At one point in winter festiwal I checked and had about 2k gifts to give. I would stay for the whole event just to spend them, not to mention switching back and forth between main and alts, taking daily quests and such. By that time my laptop was also really outdated so it took extra time to even load characters (sometimes in trials I literally had 8-15fps...). I really liked the game and would probably still play it to this day if I played like 9 characters max (one for each class). Also, workshop morale? I always wondered if the devs just chose not to upgrade that thing or was it missed. 400 morale / 5 is already a large number. Doing that on 53 characters? Yeeaaah. Sure. Should have made it possible to use those in bulk.
Even one of every class is too much. By the time you arse about fitting them all out with good gear, a new module drops and makes the gear you were aiming for obsolete, or they do a major rework somewhere, whichs usually just resets the grind. It's like perpetually chasing your tail, which you'll never get. I went from alternating between 13 toons, to playing 4 of my preferred toons, to now, where at this moment, I don't have any desire to play whatsoever.
I did play mostly on 4 mains (wizard, cleric, paladin and warlock), but yeah, I tried to run all campaigns at least on all 9 mains too. As I said. Most of it was a chore.
@@mickmuzzmkmz1628 not really, I've done it before and have returned and intend to do it again. These people who are running 50 characters and what not however are just not the brightest people in my opinion lol. I mean it's really just common sense that you will quit the game at that rate
Hi Ayva, a nice listen while cooking dinner, I'll eat it slowly 😅 I've not played Neverwinter for a while, or anything else really, looking forward to trying the first descendant tomorrow though, i enjoyed the beta.
Ya sounds like burn out. I had that a bit but after a couple weeks break I was back into my game. One of the things I did was to switch up my routine a bit so it wasn't repetitious. I quit at 18 characters, 2 of each was enough for me. With all my mythic comps, mounts an enhancements, I ended up having toons at 60k at level 2, an when I got them to 20 went straight into dungeons an forgetting about boons, so now I'm spending most of my gametime running characters thru adventures an campaigns. An for workshop, I usually have mine collecting Ad crates as well with adventurers, an I make the visors just by holding the A botton down till its done. Usually around 5 mins an I collect 30+ gold per character /day. Plus I do dungeons on just a couple since I can't get extra Ad, and unless someone asks me to run a specific character. I've stuck to being a midgame player on most characters an I don't really play much Master content because of so far an few usuable drops, an If ya not running with an able group it gets costly for potions an health scrolls. I also run mine thru Stronghold quests, which I have down to under 30 mins/character and as I have my own guild an its a low level guild an not much help from members to level up which is quite frustrating. I also stream some of my gameplay on Twitch.
I don’t even bother getting the full invoke cycle on my 3 characters it’s too much time while I’m still trying to get my main stronger. Then I have to work on my daily queues which just makes invoking too troublesome. Honestly I wish they just made invoking once per day, that way people might actually participate in the game instead of swapping characters and giving a more flexible schedule for their alts to do whatever they want. I think this game needs some improvement in the story aspect, because the last actually story based module was Ravenloft and the rest have just been beat up the bad guys because bad. Ravenloft was atmospheric and I loved how they tied the campaign to the maguffins you acquire through the quests, it really felt like I was working with the people to take down the baddies. In the recent modules I just feel like I’m being exploited by these organisations to do their work. Like you abduct me from Neverwinter into space to find a way to stop these massive crystals and you constantly give me the same 4 quests until this random princess I don’t care about gets a plan? Like I would happily let Jarlaxle kidnap me but the other npcs are so bland and the npcs have barely any connection to the new content and are just telling me to go somewhere and do something. Remember when the storm giant Serissa would help you at Svardborg and you got to see Xuna brooding at the end? That felt cool that these allies I made through the campaign are actual stakeholders in the conflict. I’m still holding on to Makos’s signet from the fbi introduction quest. (I personally find Kavatos cuter and funnier than Makos, but that’s just me) I liked that Celeste went out and did her own thing in chult and the river district it felt like she finally got a personality. At least vallenhas got Etrien and Avernus had Lulu. Sharandar had no one, dragonslayer and scaleblight summit were just endless grind and Drizzt was just there to use his name in the new underdark campaigns. And wildspace was mentioned above.
I only have 28 and even I get overwhelmed with them all. I told myself I'd stop at X, then the recruitment event rolls around and breaks me lol, but I'm hoping to stay at 28, especially considering 8 of them are lvl 2-5 still. I usually don't have VIP but when I do I'll log in on each daily to at least invoke once and get the VIP bag. Otherwise I honestly only really make use of em all for events mainly, will do daily skirmish/dungeons on various ones for the battle passes once I have all the gear for my main ones from those seals. But yeah otherwise I don't really utilize them for daily things much, I just don't have the drive that I used to with the game. That probably is partially due to the game itself, and also me as a person. Cause I used to like the game a lot more back in the day, and have slowly liked it generally less and less, but I struggle to give it up, not that I'm specifically trying, but i just keep coming back. That being said i understand the sentiment with your thoughts in the video, in the past I would be obsessive about doing various daily things, and it just wasn't healthy. Recognizing that is a big step for sure, when its something thats unhealthy for you. It gets to a point where even if it results in rewards in game, it just isn't worth compromising your real life. And at the end of the day, it should be about having fun! It doesn't help that I put a lot of care into the characters I've made and have since grown attached and maybe that's part of why I keep coming back, who knows. Kinda sad perhaps, but it is what it is lol.
Make gold as you sleep with Alchemy! Make Potions of Healing Rank 9 in stacks of 12, sell 99 for 29.7 gold! And spamming them remotely for 5 Morale takes FAR less time than visors that do not stack and you have to stop to sell them immediately! I can sell a dozen stacks of Rank 9 Potions of Healing for 356.4 gold every few days to a week or so! On 36 characters, half making Potions and half making Myrrh, that's 6,415.2 gold. You just have to Gather lots of Spring Water, Beehive Chip and Wintergreen Sprig for a week or so to start off, and then make Wintergreen Oil and Honey and one toon making Potions. I have thousands of Spring Water as I used to farm those to feed the Mimic at the Guild, until they nerfed the payback. So I can mail Spring Water to those running out. {:o:O:}
Oops! When I said one _"toon"_ making potions, I meant 1 ARTISAN Alchemist making potions, the other two making Honey and Wintergreen Oil. And you can have three Gathering Beehive Chip, Wintergreen Sprig and Spring Water. {:o:O:}
@@aaggroberlin19 Lots of reasons. Guild upgrades, making Guild Vouchers, buying Profession node kits, gifts to guild members, paying for Professions and so on. Half my characters used to make Bees Wax for rank 3, Myrrh for Rank 4, Guild Donations and to sell for AD. Now they are all just making potions. We are only rank 14, so we are still growing the Guild. {:o:O:}
Never have to feel snazzy on PC. Just toss the worker on and their tool and press the macro to use all 400 morale crafting. Great way to sit back with the morning coffee and watch some YT. 😂 💀 I really do think they needed to add a "craft all immediately" option. Little one second bar that charges per craft as it feeds the items into your bag.
when you get to the point n a game when you are running chores .... time to quit. Games are supposed to take you away from RL not reflect it. Keep trying to get back into NW but can't. If devs were 1% as good at creating content as they are at destroying the game it would still be fecking great. Roll back to pre-mod 16.
An easier way to get gold is invoking on mech altars. I park my 9 toons in Rothe Valley and open 9 altars. Someone else with 52 toons will keep alting and invoking during that 18 mins. He makes about 700 gold daily. It's a lot easier, but of course, you need a friend to pop altars.
I played this game at launch on xbox still have vip on that for a couple years from keys but i dont play anymore just hopped on my pc account and idk wth to run lol 😅
Pick 1, max 2 characters (preferably 1 dps, 1 support) and actively play ONLY with 2 of them through dungeons and events. You will earn more if you farm 1 dungeon per day with other ppl, than hopping through 50 chars doing this toxic boring routine. And this isn't a NW problem, it's a personal choice of how you ended up "playing" the game. I hear ya about long loadings on console, I left and went on PC, muuuuch better exp there.
Exactly lol I get the feeling she was a little butthurt after quitting because she drained herself. Who in their right mind would make 55 alts on any mmo or online game with a daily routine?
I only skimmed the video but from what I'm gathering you over taxed yourself trying to do dailies and the like over 55 characters? Lol I'm not sure if this is even a state of Neverwinter type of video, more so it's a video about what not to do as a player of literally any MMORPG. Like genuinely, you have to be a bit shortsighted to make 55 alts and expect anything else but your fun ending. Common sense really. 55 alts?.. come on now. This is also the era of FOMO and limited dailies and the like for online gaming, I don't mean to insult you but you genuinely have to be smarter than that. How in the world did you even make this video without just realizing the real problem is that you had the audacity to make 50 characters? It's unsensible. I used to run one of every class because i actually wanted to and it was fun. If you're making a crap ton of characters as fillers for extra rewards and the like, you will inevitably quit the game. At that point it's work and not a game. It's the reason i quit many gachas and other games. Only difference here is you turned the game into work on your own and decided to make a video about it like it's Nevereinters problem lol. Like really, unless you intended to be the literal best player or top 1% in Neverwinter why would you even need that many characters? Just the definition of illogical. Not hardcore gamin, it's gaming backwards
I have 3 accounts not a bunch on just 1 because you can get all the free stuff like motes from events etc... on them then mail upgradaable things back to main.
The game has some good points, but overall it is just such a glitch ridden, waste of time. Time I can't justify anymore. Not totally quitting, but don't have any real desire to play.
Wow i only have 12 alts besides my main, but i made them all during the recruitment event and use them mostly as extra bag and bank space. I dont bother with workshop bc i only have like four main alts that i actively play with. I can hardly have enough time to play the ones i have but their purpose is just to get to end level adventures for the free AD, then get re rolled and do it all over again. I have to admit though, the tutorial grind is now boring AF and a mental slog.
Get the portal stone and open workbench from menu and never go to workhop ever again. I have 13 and there is no way I'm getting more 55 is probably more ad but i wanna play the game aswell man
Loading screen freeze, hit start, games and apps, remove neverwinter from quick resume. If reroll tokens don't show up, same fix, remove from quick resume

Also lol no, Neverwinter isn't any more blurry than any other older games. Even better on pc and i play on console. Only thing relevant here is the talk about bugs which everyone knows about, most ofcthis is just a nonsensical rant. Btw I'm not even a big fan of this game, just the facts
I have 51 chars and play one char for each class. I use 11 other chars for legacy quests and the rest is only for invoking. Back in the days I only played NW but now I only do the necessary things, logout and play other games. If I get bored while doing repeatable quests or something I just quit and do something else.

I can not see how a trial made after an official D&D module can copy anything in the superior mmo. Also I can not see how action combat can copy tab targeting gameplay from the- superior mmo. What do they have in common, white for angel and gold for the Celestia room?
Looks like you turned a video game into a job. When do you think you actually stopped playing and started this chore stuff? I really could not put myself through logging 55 toons. Yuck
I've always done the chore stuff in between playing. Running content was always the main priority but when the game is more quiet and less friends were on to play I prioritized doing things like this.
this is not fun, this is tedious filler content made to make premium items and shit harder to get and so ur left with ideas like lemme jsut spend money
Remember when we could farm real Rough AD with Leadership and salvage epic gear for Rough AD?
And every character could refine 36k AD per day? THAT was why so many characters with maxed Leadership was so worthwhile. And any of them could see Rhix and run dungeons.
Now, it's just the Invoking Coins for 3% drop of BtA Coal Motes and double unbound Epic Enchanting Stones on Double RP. I still have 72 Bound Coals and hundreds of EES. Plus a stack of Elixirs every now and then when I get 500 Ardent Coins. And we can make a lot of gold.
I save up a few hundred Coffers of Celestial Refinement and open them all on one character.

I’m returning to this game after 6 years and just looking at everything has blown my brain up. I’m one video down and this channel has already helped so I just want to say thanks :)
Same. There's alot of new changes I'm not a fan of
As someone who's only been playing on ps4 for a year now.
*_"...circular reasoning problem. You need the currency from the higher content to get the higher gear. You can't really play the higher content though until you get the higher grade gear."_*
I feel you, but people have been saying that since Mod 3. I started in Mod 2. But this might be a good post to make on the official forum.
*_"there's tons of content I haven't played yet, as far as advanced, master dungeons, trails and reapers."_*
Me too. I don't bother with it. The Devs even said _"It's not for everyone"._ You can still do Random queues for Seals and the odd drop of decent gear, Unbind Tokens, Shards etc.
I have not chased "End Game" since Mod 10 and my main has not even done any of the recent mods. I preferred when we could get Account-Bound gear with Seals that stayed Account-Bound on equip, so my Alts could use it. Four sets were needed for all 9 classes. They stopped that after the Weathered Wood gear from Sharandar. Then, they made it so that my main Cleric could not even buy any Seal gear for my Tank, or any other classes. Except Shirt and Pants. Then they introduced gear that needed special campaign currencies, PLUS 100s of thousands of AD. No thanks.
For The Hero's Path, my main has everything except Mythic Collars and 80k, 90k Item level. The Collars will need 12,500 powder and 300 Greater Shards. Even during the Trade Bar discount, 20 Powder for 24 Bars, that will need 15,000 Trade Bars just for the powder.
*_"It's a game killer when the community that inhabits the game fills up with the most narcissistic competitive players that treat new comers terribly."_*
That's always been true as well. Although, the game is a lot less toxic than it was when I'd be kicked before the loot role at the end of the dungeon or for Needing on an item for my class. I'm glad "Greed Runs" are a thing of the past.
Maybe you are approaching it the wrong way? Why do you want to get into Master level dungeons straight away? New mods always have a lower item level for a while at the start, so you can go to the zones and farm currencies. There are too many elite groups doing Master content as they don't want to fail the run. They have their own chat channels, so will not invite from Zone. You can get gear with Seals from random queues, as well as rAD, plus other drops from the end chest. And with Summer Festival you can get a tone of Insignia for the powder and Food Buffs Galore.
You need to have friends and Guild Members for running dungeons etc, and Reaper's. Reaper's is not all that hard, really.
Good Luck!
{:o:O:}
It ain't that bad. Astral gear -> ADWP -> ADM -> MDWP -> lair of the mad dragon and yourr end game.
Also AIC has a few good items.
The game needs a reboot and a overhaul of the skill trees.
its good to see people doing the healthy choice and really experiencing the perspective of gaming outside of neverwinter and mmos in general
First off, I’ll never forget the time I bumped into your toon ‘God’s Plan’ at Vellosk entrance! I recognized you and emoted, and you emoted back :D

Agreed! Well said
I take the time to give you a different perspective - making content easy will not bring more players, it will lose the ones that play for the challenge.
Yes, they ripped the guts out of the game. Levelling up was the most fun part, and with three Paragon trees we had much more variation with different builds for the same class.
But because the Toxic Elite thought only 1 or 2 builds were "viable" for "End Game", they destroyed them all. But 95% of the game was always Solo Play!

@@mickmuzzmkmz1628i can 100% relate
you're absolutely right and a lot of it is still perspective. i think when people look back on how these casual daily grinds used to yield so much more value and were much less frustrating, it shows how this part of the game has been degraded over time. even your accurate comparison to running content instead even shows where the content side of the game has degraded too, since the rewards and the rewarding experience has been stripped down over time too. part of the issue i think is that your comment is 100% accurate today, but in the past both options were much much more valuable in terms of your experience and the rewards
Should have been the first of many obvious red flags to the dev team that they were heading down a player base killing path, but here we are still.
damn the grind. more like a job than a game. respect the dedication. glad i'm a casual. lol

"exchange sale expired" I could feel the pain :(
I'm very happy you dropped this vid. we have to admid, that it is so easy to slip into where it feels like work and isnt fun anymore. happened to me more than once. then i always try to question what i really need to play the game the way i want. no need to have millions rad or gold. no need to play latest content on every class. i was there but it burnt me and nowadys its more about staying in touch with friends that have been made across the journey of nw. my daily routine is between 15-60 min for 21 toons, sometimes only 1 min to grab key. regarding workshop health potion rank 9 is the way to go, best output for time invested
Double professions must be brutal with 55 characters. Nothing like taking twice as long to get through.
Definitely was brutal every time! :(
Especially if you’re…let’s say…crafting leather masks for example
Hi Ayva, a nice listen while cooking dinner, I'll eat it slowly 😅
I've not played Neverwinter for a while, or anything else really, looking forward to trying the first descendant tomorrow though, i enjoyed the beta.
I'm a TR we were more OP back in the day to me we still nurf 😅 plus mirage was my favorite weapon they keep nurf us in some other way Y.Y
Make gold as you sleep with Alchemy! Make Potions of Healing Rank 9 in stacks of 12, sell 99 for 29.7 gold!
And spamming them remotely for 5 Morale takes FAR less time than visors that do not stack and you have to stop to sell them immediately! I can sell a dozen stacks of Rank 9 Potions of Healing for 356.4 gold every few days to a week or so!
On 36 characters, half making Potions and half making Myrrh, that's 6,415.2 gold.
You just have to Gather lots of Spring Water, Beehive Chip and Wintergreen Sprig for a week or so to start off, and then make Wintergreen Oil and Honey and one toon making Potions. I have thousands of Spring Water as I used to farm those to feed the Mimic at the Guild, until they nerfed the payback. So I can mail Spring Water to those running out.

Lots of reasons. Guild upgrades, making Guild Vouchers, buying Profession node kits, gifts to guild members, paying for Professions and so on. Half my characters used to make Bees Wax for rank 3, Myrrh for Rank 4, Guild Donations and to sell for AD. Now they are all just making potions.

Never have to feel snazzy on PC. Just toss the worker on and their tool and press the macro to use all 400 morale crafting. Great way to sit back with the morning coffee and watch some YT. 😂 💀
I really do think they needed to add a "craft all immediately" option. Little one second bar that charges per craft as it feeds the items into your bag.
They will never add this because they want it to take time by design. No getting rich quick in NW unless you pull your wallet out.
Funny that you keep all of your characters in Vellosk for fast loading. I keep all of mine in Stardock for the very same reason!
That's crazy tbh, have you quit forever or are you going to come back sometime?
No I’ve not quit forever, I still get on and do random things and maybe doing full comeback for mod 29 😊
when you get to the point n a game when you are running chores .... time to quit. Games are supposed to take you away from RL not reflect it. Keep trying to get back into NW but can't.
You don't mention multiple accounts which is far better in terms of wealth, but ultimately 200+ characters over 5+ accounts is also unwieldy.
Not totally quitting, but don't have any real desire to play.
nice video ! ;)
MERC!!!!
❤
Wow i only have 12 alts besides my main, but i made them all during the recruitment event and use them mostly as extra bag and bank space. I dont bother with workshop bc i only have like four main alts that i actively play with. I can hardly have enough time to play the ones i have but their purpose is just to get to end level adventures for the free AD, then get re rolled and do it all over again. I have to admit though, the tutorial grind is now boring AF and a mental slog.
I liked “Piñatas, yadda yadda yadda” 😊
I spend all my morale during double prof and when gond is coming up to make gold. But im also on pc and can use an suto clicker 😂
You have a lovely voice
in a nutshell, neverwinter is a good game, until you hit endgame
wait I was just going to return, they made max level 20? thats ugly. Im still gonna hop in and try it out but seeing a lot of negative videos
Jesus visors? No wonder you quit. Just do rank 9 potions instead 😂
Exactly! Make gold as you sleep in stacks of 12, sell 99 for 29.7 gold! And spamming them remotely takes FAR less time than visors that do not stack and you have to stop to sell them immediately! I can sell a dozen stacks of Rank 9 Potions of Healing for 356.4 gold every few days to a week or so!
{:o:O:}
_(Edited for tyops)_
Why would anyone do this to themselves, anything more than 5 alts is too much, will easily kill enjoyment.
Also lol no, Neverwinter isn't any more blurry than any other older games. Even better on pc and i play on console. Only thing relevant here is the talk about bugs which everyone knows about, most ofcthis is just a nonsensical rant. Btw I'm not even a big fan of this game, just the facts
I make the bone necklaces
I have 51 chars and play one char for each class. I use 11 other chars for legacy quests and the rest is only for invoking. Back in the days I only played NW but now I only do the necessary things, logout and play other games. If I get bored while doing repeatable quests or something I just quit and do something else.
Visors is godawful on inventory... Healing Potions Rank 9. They stack and can be made very fast.

@@ansfridaeyowulfsdottir8095 i make honey on 4 characters, myrrh on 4, potions and wintergreen oil 2x on everyone elese. When someone gets low on honey I move a 999 stack to them
I can not see how a trial made after an official D&D module can copy anything in the superior mmo. Also I can not see how action combat can copy tab targeting gameplay from the- superior mmo. What do they have in common, white for angel and gold for the Celestia room?
got 12 character I dont even connect to more than 2 of them lol people who play this that way are just giving their free time to slave labor its crazy
Dead game
this is not fun, this is tedious filler content made to make premium items and shit harder to get and so ur left with ideas like lemme jsut spend money
Do you think the superior mmo copies something from d&d? Or copying is good for them because reasons.
You don't like to cook 😮😮😮
Lmao
Y’all are ridiculous get a life seriously I’m not trying to be mean 55 alts that’s literally obsessive
Touch grass lady…jeez 😒
Switch to PC and bind ur „keys”properly
