- You've realised that life in Thailand would be better if you had some some transport in your life.
I discuss the pros and cons of Scooters and Motorbikes, and give examples and prices of all the scooter and common motorbikes that are available in Thailand.
Scooters range from the little Honda Scoopy through to the beast that is the Yamaha Tmax. Scooters covered include options from Honda, Yamaha, GPX, Vespa, Keeway, Aprilia, Peugeot, Suzuki, and Lambretta.
Details are given on most bikes below 300 cc from the big Japanese manufacturers, and from the Thai manufacturer GPX.
In addition to the above, motorbike brand examples and website details are also provided for Royal Enfield, Harley Davidson, Bennelli, KTM, BMW, Triumph, Ducati, and Kawasaki.
There are a lot of bikes out there, but hopefully this will make you better aware of what's the best bike for you.

Definitely worth buying a scooter over renting for longer term stay. Helpful video!
Absolutely! Perhaps not a $200 clunker though!
Superbly informative video 👍
Thanks mate for your efforts to share 🙏
Cheers from Oz 🍻
Thanks a lot, glad that you found it useful.
Thanks for the vid. Very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
Dude... You might want to hold a coffee mug or something when seated at your desk. You look super uncomfortable wringing or clasping your hands. RELAX 😉🤜🏼🤛🏽😆. Nice helpful video 😁👍🏼
Lol, maybe I should take a tipple of gin before aiming the camera at myself :)
what about used one ??
Try Facebook Marketplace + there are lots of small motorbike shops that deal in secon dhand bikes.
You go too fast on your screen you need to slow down so people can catch the number
Thanks for the feedback. As there were many bikes, I just got through them as best I could, as I didn't want the video to be too long. You can change the video playback speed in (the settings gear symbol at the bottom right hand side of the video. Or pressing the spacebar will also pause the video (if there is a bike you are particularly interested in).
Good Vid bud…cheers..👍
