I actually thought that everyone who really understood the anime knows that Naraku did it all because of Kikyo. This love was even the reason of his birth .. I do not deny, that he is quite amused about the suffering of others.

the moment that touched me the most from all of inuyasha episodes is the one when mosu was absorbed by naraku i felt so bad for him, for this pitiful naive and pathetic man who only wanted freedom and to see kikyo he barely had a single day to live outside of narakus body before he was abosrbed again. i found it very touching
Man I loved Inuyasha growing up. It was the first more "adult" manga and anime I got into. Something about the demons and the story always really unnerved me.
Yeah just the story lines was un matched I rewatched it recently and now at 30 watching it I realized even more how sad kikiyo story was dieing with so much love for Inuyasha 😢 that had me in tears when kikiyo died
If one hates a villain for being a wretched merciless bastard he is, then he is a success. Naraku is one villain I love to hate. He knows his limits, and makes best use of his intellect for toying with those around him.

This guy is like an anime version of the Joker. If you seperate Onigumo away for a moment and just look at Naraku, there’s no reason for what he does. Onigumo wants Kikyo. Naraku is just bored.
He's alot like Judge Frollo as well. Both desire a woman they can't have, not for true love but for lust and obsession. And both are very misanthropic, And both are just as evil
No joke some of those demons are scary and the way some fodder characters die is gruesome as fuck for a shonen anime: eg. When Naraku went after that powerful miko as a kid playing kagome kagome and literally dissolved the other kids with miasma cause he wanted to kill the small miko. The Noh mask ep scared me as a child and I still remember it now
I think you would have enjoyed Ryukotsusei. He only shows up in 2 episodes, but the dude is an absolute boss. Inuyasha was legit screwed until he figured how to use the Backlash Wave.
Masked Obito and Naraku share a lot of similarities to me both of them work within the shadows and be the brains of the operation and only get their hands dirty when necessary both of them used deception and manipulation to the fullest of the abilities but they have also have the same downfall as they were the one being manipulated and deceived the whole time however both of them died with contentment and a smile on their face

Episode 79 was hilarious. Between Jaken scheming to steal Tetsusaiga and Kagome getting to look at Inuyasha naked in the hot springs, there is no shortage of funny moments in that episode 🤣
Naraku next to Itachi was one of my first anime bad boy crushes. Tbh I don't really care for bad boys in real life. Also I am the only one who liked Kanna and that nameless infant?? Kanna is absolutely adorable. I really don't care if that infant is evil incarnate or Naraku's demon heart. He's absolutely adorable cute little baby. I never really cared very much for Hakudoshi. But his other half that cute little guy the nameless is nothing short of absolutely freakin' adorable even if he evil incarnate.

However, characters like the Joker, Johan Liebert, Naraku, Michael Myers, etc. Can definently be considered pure evil because all they seek is malevolence and to hurt others just because they can do it
