Watercolor is the most unforgiving medium . It doesn’t get the respect it deserves. I can paint oil and acrylic no problem but watercolor is my favorite . It’s a challenge. To paint like This is my goal .

I agree, oils are so difficult. Acrylic less difficult because you don’t need to observe the fat over lean rule, but still nothing compares to watercolour. Not even gouache. So forgiving

The clip suggest one big session but it is not. You’ve got to be patient for the layers to dry. The color choice is exceptional. The artist is an inspiration.

after I watch all of his video, I found out that his awesome watercolor portrait key is his special brush because I've already tried myself to do some smooth skin color transition using watercolor with standard brush, I've failed to do exactly smooth color transition like he does. After I bought a similar brush (like chinese calligraphy brush) I can do that same effect and It's awesome!

Я бы тоже хотела научиться рисовать акварелью , но пока боюсь , не знаю , но присутствует страх того , что что-то не получится , где-то не так высохнет , где-то потечёт , поэтому я пока рисую цветными карандашами . Может когда-нибудь я начну рисовать акварелью , а пока я буду смотреть на то , как вы рисуете )))
