Racco is definitely more for a seller who wants every part shape and color of that shape to have its own drawer even if they only have five of it, or for someone who wants an absolutely detailed sort on their collection. For most AFOL’s and nearly all children, it looks more cumbersome and intense than the benefit they’d get from it. If you know someone with a 3d printer Bricksie is using 3d printed cups that can be sized to perfectly nest together inside those sterilite drawers. So you can still use them, but have a more detailed sort inside the drawers of similar parts.
Yea you are right - moc building and Bricklink stores have different storage solutions that work better for each. The Racco definitely need to be wall mounted. I would have taken a pallet of them all day long. But every time I try to use those style containers for my personal collection I end up putting them in the Bricklink store instead. I am proud of you for honestly considering it for your needs and figuring out it wasn’t right for you at this time. Had a similar situation with the Papimax - which offered to send me enough to replace my entire store - but I tried them and did not like them. Then they went out of business
He s a little over his head ,in more ways than one with Leo , you think sorting ,sorting sorting ,at least it makes for video content ,when he d get Lego sets in mail ! Raaco s name is out there now !🤔
I agree with your choice, I don't have the Raacos so I can't formulate my own opinion based on experience BUT I highly value accessibility, and being able to walk down to Walmart or Target to pick up more Sterilite drawers is very convenient. At the very least Raaco's investment got them multiple videos from you and got their name out there more so don't feel bad!
Greg I like your idea of sticking with your system ,feel for rack though ,maybe with your shipping expertise you could send back a couple if their cabinets or stuff ,like traveling cases !🤔 goooo ,Lego ,bring on the sorting !🤗
I think that going with the starlit is a good choice for building as you said as I was doing research and thought that swell but I also have some odd parts ill never build with which ill get those raaco style drawers for brick link selling. 😀
Raaco units stack, however you have to buy the separate stacking units for them to stack. I have the carousel unit by Raaco. I am in Uk not sure if you get these in the US?
I like the idea of using the raaco for storage room storage. I can't believe a storage company would make something that's not stackable. That's just a poor and unusable design. I wouldn't use lego tech pieces because what if the Lego fails and the raaco containers fall over and injure you or Clark .

Good call!

Good for you, Greg. I think you made the right decision.
Staying true to yourself is always good. No regrets .. your channel got where it is so far because of your choices.
I think you are doing right. Least you are honest about it all. They asked you to few them and you did.

Lowe’s also sells something very similar to the raaco products/acro mills and is very affordable.
I like the sterlite too. Very convenient to get from Walmart
use some of the rancos for your RC and rocket stuff so that all the parts are nice and organaized idea for you
I was going to say last time, use the Raaco units for 1x1 parts, minifig and doll parts and accessories, and technic pieces

Please do a live stream of building the mountain cave
Oddly just put some command Velcro poster strips onto the top and you’ll be golden assuming the bottom is also flat.
Mountain Cave is awesome, probably my white whale set at this point.

Good decision
You should give Clark the raaco storage if you don’t want them he can make good use of them

I love love love your videos greg. I usually watch gregs world. But i had to watch lol
I have Raaco drawers and things always seem to get stuck between the drawer and the frame

That's not on you, it's on Raaco. I imagine that Lego sellers would benefit more from the system than a builder like yourself. They chose wrong.
There’s got to be a way to screw them to the wall, no?
P s meant raaco n previous comment , I m a bad typer !🙂
can i have the lego star wars to get please
