East Africa will one time be surprised to see Uganda at large developing at a very faster rate than the rest of East African countries, what had made both Kenya and Tanzania slightly developed than Uganda is just because of the seaports in both Kenya and Tanzania and Kenya more developed is both seaport and oil but now that uganda has discovered a huge deposit of oil in hoima and some other parts of Eastern part of Uganda, don't be surprised to see Uganda more developed than any other East African countries because its already the pearl of Africa with beautiful sceneries which needs just some few things to put it right to be more amazing, along r.Nile and L. Victoria shores, I believe there will be plans of constructing better city infrastructures like hotels, better roads and amazing skyscrapers just like Dubai, we already soon venturing on the oil sector which is the largest in East and central, this is gonna transform Uganda into a more developed and advanced country in East and central Africa and all the mouths and negativity towards Uganda will stop

You can only compare Kenya to Rwanda. .. as long as Museveni is still in power ,theh will move at a very slow pace... Uganda is beautiful but under the leadership of a dictator as a president....you can compare Kampala maybe to kisumu city in Kenya...They dont have urban planning ,so disorganised ,more so the boda boda and matatus there....roads not wide again yet you are in the heart of the city🤦....

That's funny.. am in Kampala I visited yesterday, this place is behind kenya by 20years. Poor roads, military everywhere, Motorbikes are more than people in the city.. police stations are like kiosks, the tall buildings are in town centre only. The residence areas have few apartments but old homes. Visit nairobi outskirts and see residential apartments, flats and courts. Come and see estates, come and see civilisation on road usage and control.

Kampala is so dirty. Not enough public restrooms, & the few u can find have no running water. They store water in jericans outside the washrooms, & you have to pay to use the facilities. That is almost how Idi Amin left it pretty much, except for a few new structures numbering less than ten. Roads are not wider, and most of them have pot holes. Traffic lights are hard to find. The so called city is a disgrace. KCCA should fire some people supposed to take care of the general appearance of the place. Pavements are damaged, no flowers, no bill boards, no functioning street lights etc. Kampala is a total joke not any near the Nairobi standards.
