My mom had been gifted this exact machine 17 years ago to make decor for my nursery and we lost the manual and i really didn't want to replace it just so i could sew. Thank you so much for making this video it was a big help.
Thanks! I've had my machine for a while and seem to forget how to use it in between times. I didn't know how to use the higher stitch numbers, and didn't know it was a self-threader; so you have helped a lot. :) 👍🌷
Thank you so much! My fancy machine is in the shop for repairs right now. The Brother is my backup machine so rarely use it and I could not for the life of me remember what is what.
This video was exactly what I was looking for-I was starting to get intimidated by all the knobs and buttons, thank you for explaining what everything does!
I always knock my tension out of whack and pretty much stopped mending things. I decided to find a video to help me fix it. After viewing this video, I made adjustments and WOW!! I must bookmark this because I will view this video many many times, I'm sure. I agree with sgkaren bear... it is the perfect video that I needed.
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I just found one of these at a thrift shop and I can't wait to start sewing with it! I look forward to watching more of your videos on this machine!
Thank you so incredibly much for the tutorial. It's been ages since I've been on a machine, but my kid was needing her school uniform pants turned into shorts. You are a lifesaver.
Nicely explain and saw each function. Brother RS 36 model:-// have +_- turn with screw driver at the back. The threader, on mine jammed not coming down. Thread cutter on closing flap. And to do design nob on the right side. Next motor wheel.
Thank you! I replaced my 40+ year old Singer (finally died) with this machine and hated it because the user manual is terrible. I couldn't figure o ut what the heck I was doing with the settings. This was so helpful, and I no longer despise this machine. LOL
I’m unsure about how to do this with a Brother machine. With the Kenmore the pressure foot tension is inside the door that holds the light bulb. Try that.
Hey, ive watched many of your videos and so far everything went good until at the final part where i start sewing it looks good at the front but when i turn it around, the first thread is bunched up and tangled at the bottom, which i have no idea how or why it keeps happening, i really need help and i hope you can have the time of day to reply, thank you❤.
Hello. Turn the grey stitch length dial from SS to 3. Then turn the stitch selector… the white dial in front… to 2. This is to get out of the stretch stitch function to normal straight stitch.
Very nice. You are the only one out of 5 others who actually told what each dial is for. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! You’re welcome!

How do you adjust the pressure foot tension? Everything I can find talks about a screw that this model just doesn't have
I’m unsure about how to do this with a Brother machine. With the Kenmore the pressure foot tension is inside the door that holds the light bulb. Try that.

Rethread the machine top and bottom. It sounds like the bobbin may not be attached. Make sure it clicks in the silver attachment piece.
Sir please explain demo and sewing tricks and use of embroidery designs given in Brother BM 3600 machine
You are asking for the Brother xL2600? Or the 3600?

I need help with making button holes

Thank you for this video (I know it’s a few months old). I’ve found one of these for $30 on marketplace and was wondering if it’s worth it. 🤷🏼♀️

Yo estoy custurando kon la makina pero no me agara para nada la illera pk ...es 2600i
What does the word La illera mean? It doesn’t translate into any word.
Can you use this machine for buttone hole
Yes, this machine does a buttonhole stitch. It is actually the number 1 stitch on the stitch selector dial. It has the rectangle under it.
Haindi me
Yes, thank you for your suggestions. It is in the making.
