Wasted by Amelie Medniuk

Twelve year old local Amelie, is very passionate about limiting food waste to help save our environment, animals and us!
'I chose this topic because it is one of the biggest threats to our ecosystem if we let it get out of control. It is also one of the easiest things we can do something about if everyone works together in making a few small changes - such as eating last night's leftovers for lunch or freezing food close to its expiry date'.
Amelie made her video as part of her involvement in Waverley Council's intergenerational program on climate change: Power to the Future Program.
