I wondered if that would happen? Very cool. Similar to how the Americans test their gasoline for alcohol content. Add water until the alcohol seperates from the gasoline and combines with the water.

    Alcohol (Ethanol): 0,79
    Sunflower oil: 0,92
    Water: 1,00
Units are g/ml each. Density at room temperature

Hey man I can’t find how to send a pm. I bought a tincture the desired compound is set in mct oil. Mct oils density is 0.95 g/ cm3. Isopropyl Alcohols is .78 g/ml and water 1.0 g/mI. I was trying to eliminate the oil by dissolving it in 99% alcohol and water mixture. I’m guessing I would have to heat it up. The compound I would like to keep has boiling point is 320 f. Could I simply heat it with the proper ratio and temperature then evaporate the alcohol leaving me with just the compound or a less oily compound? Or would it world to heat it up in a mixture of alcohol and mct oil freeze overnight (obviously alcohol won’t freeze) but when the fat freezes scrape it off? Would the extracted compound be left almost fully in the alcohol not oil? I have looked all over the internet so my last chance is this comment lol. You seem to know what your doing.

      You definitively can!
You simply need a dye that is non polar and therefore soluable in oil but not in water. Carotinoids from carrots would colour the oil orange. You could heat some carrot pieces in the oil for some time. However there are many other possible colorants.

Everyday I come closer to my prediction, that gravity is the fifth state of matter of water.
    1. ice
    2. water
    3. steam
    4. EZ water
    5. I think it may be one more here,
    but - gravity.
But, no matter which level in the state of matter it may be, I think gravity is water. It's just a matter of determining what mechanism(s) cause it to take on the characteristics we observe.
    hypothetical example:
Take water, make it an aerogel, compress it, put it in a vacuum, and ... go from there.
    Anyway... just my crazy thoughts.

    • @Flederratte
      @Flederratte 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Depending on the conditions a substance is in one state of matter or in another. Mostly water at normal pressure and room temperature is liquid. For temperatures below freezing and normal pressure it is solid (ice). And at temperatures above 100°C and/or reduced pressure it is a gas (water vapor).
Gravity is a force which is proportional to the mass of a body.
I do not see what you tried to tell in the comment and I cannot follow the logic. I simply wanted to explain the fundamental terms.

    • @dremaboy777
      @dremaboy777 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Flederratte
      Thanks for the reply.
well... my comment wasn't really intended to have logic. And I am by no means learned in the scientific, physics, or astronomic disciplines.
is just my personal thoughts; since science knows the 'effects' of gravity but not "what" it is.
for example... there is water in the atmosphere; as there is oxygen in water/ocean (along with what ever other gases). then, at 'that point' atmosphere changes to space.
Indeed, the rotation of the mass of the earth creates a magnetic field, but it doesn't create gravity.
it's said that all masses have gravity. So my question would be 'at what point does a mass become weightless because of its own 'gravity'. And that question don't seem to make sense, even with my limited scientific knowledge.
SO... back to my unscientific mind.
maybe gravity is the transmutation of the 'water' in the universe being impeded upon by all these extremely powerful magnetic fields being created by enormous spinning masses.
And instead of it being temperature changing its state, it's frequencies. As the earth has it's Schumann resonance, let's day the universe has it's. And it's frequency is what's attenuating the water in the universe to this... 'state'.
again... I'm not some learned science person. just a normal guy in this time of information abundance with my crazy opinion on different stuff.
I respect science. But also agree with Nikola Tesla, that "The day science begins to study non- physical phenomenon, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence".
My personal issue with science, is it's exclusion/denial of the unseen... the spiritual element of life/reality; the human spirit/soul.
BUT... they can say all matter comes from "anti-matter".
We know matter is physical, and the nature of matter. We may not know 'what' anti-matter IS, but it's clear it's not physical.
This implies that the answer that science is looking for is NOT in the physical. seeing that they themselves have found that it is merely an expression of the... shall we call it "anti-matter realm".
So, until they/we implement Teslas' words; or rather, "Complete and Total Science"; we will continue to waste trillions sending eyeballs out in the universe looking for that which simply CAN NOT BE SEEN.
      Like Gravity.

I like that you have your own theories for explanation and try to discuss them.
However I am sad that you did not learn more about science. And I mean it exactly as I write: "I am sad" about that.
I have the chance to learn a lot about science (physics not so much but I know chemistry, biology and material science). I know that what we (mankind) know today and what was discovered by scientists in many years, is great to understand and explain the world. There are still many things that are very complex and dependand on several factors which can not be explained in an easy way or which we do not understand. For example the earths climate or human nutrition are very complex and dependand on many (small) factors. Because of this it is very difficult to completely understand such systems or predict the exact behaviour to small changes. This sadly makes it easy for groups of people with personal interests to convince large proportions of inhabitants for their own seemingly simple explanation. This can be very dangerous when large numbers of people are influenced with a false statement and used for personal interests of a few leaders.
A problem is that there are many examples where someone tried to convince people of something and was using scientific wrong explanations. It is very hard to know what is correct and what is a scam and it gets even harder if one does not know much about science.
Therefore it is very important to always ask questions an be sceptical if you do not understand how things are connected. A scientist will be able to explain and proof everything of the knowledge he himself has. This might be a difficult topic but he will be able to explain it in science which can be prooved. A scammer might sound like he is able to explain it, but if you understand enough of the topic you will often debunk the pseudo-science he tries to influence others.
For me it is hard to write this in english, I hope it still is understandable.

The sphere of oil is not weightless. It is simply floating on top of a denser liquid and below a less dense liquid. At 2:43 you can even see where the dense liquid with mostly water meets the less dense liquid with mostly alcohol. That is why the spheres of oil stay at this height where the boundary layer between the clear liquids is. You can imagine it like a piece of wood on a pond. The wood would be floating on top of the water in the pond (because water is denser than wood) but it will be below the air of the atmosphere (because air is less dense than wood). Just like this the sphere of oil is floating on the mixture of much water and little alcohol (which is denser than the oil) but it is below the mixture of little water and much alcohol (which is less dense than the oil).
An object is always floating because of an equilibrium between the forces. Explained in simple words there is the buoyancy force which pulls the object upwards and there is the gravity which pulls the mass downwards. Because the object is floating and neither sinking, nor rising both forces are equal and in an equilibrium.

Moreover, if you add more alcohol, the oil will sink to the bottom. You can add so that the oil goes down but not at the bottom. You can make the oil is at the top but does not touch the surface of the liquid. I did not show it, but it is easy to repeat at home. You can add alcohol, then add water again and the oil will go down and then up again. This is interesting, I assure you. :)

Alcohol will dissolve in water and the density of this alcohol-water mixture will gradually decrease. A drop of oil will move down and at some point it will be in the middle of the glass. With further addition of alcohol, a drop of oil will be at the bottom of the glass. After this, you can add water slowly and then a drop of oil will go up again.
