To be fair, I think futmas Witsel has been great, especially with the dearth of Bundesliga CDMs available (Kimmich's not at all useable with low workrate). I've taken Goretzka out to fit him in, and it's been totally worth it even without perfect chem. He's really solid. The rest can get in the bin though. Lukebakio's the only debatable one, since he's actually got better total and IG stats, better weak foot and more height than 200k IF Werner, despite having 1 lower rating (no idea how that works). So in theory 150k for him isn't too crazy.
Hey Nep, just a quick thing you actually got wrong in the video: that 15k pack SBC has been there since day one of FUTMAS. We got the 15k pack SBC on Friday and the 35k pack SBC on Saturday. We actually DIDN’T get a “daily” SBC today, which is also something to point out as a joke from EA. Great video though

Just doesn't feel like futmas this year. After today nobody will be excited to look and see who is released every day and make a point to do them. Last year we had the nam3s and players we wanted and they were decently priced. This year the sbcs are at the least 2x as much as they should be... and not to mention as soon as Christmas/futmas is over, I hate that Christmas red and green on a card design. Should take it back to the color they had when they made futmas legendary. The year with the blue and purple cards with the numbers on th3 back being the order they went in.

They’re trying to suck coins out of the market (overpriced SBCs, listing 100s of card such as pages of first owner Juan Jesus, releasing lightning rounds and crashing the market) to drive us to buy packs thinking that TOTN card we’ll pack will make us rich (it won’t) and trying to make POTM sbcs look like good value. This promo is usually one of the better ones and it’s already wrecked, this weekend is the first time I’ve turned off Fifa and played another game as I’m genuinely tired of this, it’s laughable at this point how I’d rather watch nep and other influencers slate the promo rather than play the game and engage. Was thinking about the price of these two. Basically about 150-160k... a bit over-priced, but if someone needs a Brazilian or Serie A LW, I could see them forking over the coins for it. Fekir is about 250k... definitely tough to justify that when you have all these low-priced TOTY players who are much better.
I did the Fekir sbc. I had hella high rated dudes in my team I didn’t use. Costed me a good 15-25k for this card. And let me just say. You won’t find a better attacking Mid in La Liga. His Left foot is second to none. Absolute banger of a card.
I really hope nobody is doing these SBC's making EA changed what they are doing with this promo. Futmas is usually one of the best promos of the year and so far I haven't even been remotely tempted to do any of the cards released.
I agree that this Futmas promo is bad, but in my opinion the cost of the Fekir SBC isn't that terrible. James Rodriguez his scream card is around 225k and it's a worse card in my opinion(mostly because of the 2 star weakfoot). Love the content though, big fan and keep up the good work.
I agree if you have the coin and want to strengthen your squad there’s better options for cheaper BUT I think it is priced like that because you are paying for a rare card. Like the icons a lot of them there are better cards for a hell of a lot cheaper but you want that special card that you will not come up against a lot. The Jamie Vardy POTM card everyone had nearly and that’s devalued it as a special card in my eyes and his TOTW cards aren’t worth anything I’m guessing. I got 86 rated Schmeichel icon with my icon swap and sold my Ederson 88 even though I know he’s a better keeper I wanted Schmeichel and I know if I could sell both Schmeichel is going to get the more coin been rare. Having a rare card makes it more special so more valuable. I great example is the CL cards that are exactly the same but have a blue background and are a bit harder to get in packs are more valuable (I know there’s a couple of challenges with them tbf). I think the players who will go for these cards are people who have a team they will fit BUT can easily afford him and don’t care they are paying over the odds. People who could just afford him will stay clear imo.

I loved how EA picked not much used players and gave them a decent upgrade and they were cheap, but EA once again have been so greedy, milking money off their customers. These futmas cards need to be half the the cost to do from their would be market value!
These cards are not worth dropping division to grind objectives. Just do the loan objective. So far i have 3 Futmas. Simon and two (10 game) loan cards, regular 1st owner gold card can get the job done
I traded in a squad for Fekir cause he is the only cam i will use, card is crazy good. 87 rated is excessive but luckily I have a huge untradeable club. Would advise saving coins and buying his IF for 25k and switching to cam in-game.
