WOW ! I just came across o that song...very touching ...no amazingly touching...and Greg got the heart to sing it..wow may it bring peace in the heart of every parents that lost a child...all my love
This is a very moving song written and sung by the late Greg Lake. As I had read, Greg wrote this song after watching a news report on America's Most Wanted on Sara Ann Wood, daughter of the Reverend Robert Wood who was kidnapped and presumed murdered. I remember hearing this song from the "In The Hot Seat" album and after hearing the song's lyrics, it just brought me to tears because it just had a huge impact on the parents of these missing children. Thank you Greg for the many great years you have given us with your music. You will be missed. RIP
Os seus sabem que vc faz parte da minha vida, sou muito feliz por isso, apaixonada por vc,sua obra é muito importante pra música do nosso tempo, agora não tem nada que preste
In memory of all those children far and near missing never brought home and love and prayers to all those parents left unanswered on where or what happened to their children. You are never forgotten nor your children
Wow...this is a touching song, especially for those who lost a child, and most particularly in this way. Losing a child is bad enough but like this is even harder to bear. Beautiful song and a song I could not listen to everyday, as my son was killed when he was 17.
recorded December Sunday 4th 1994 aired Saturday December 17th 1994 , I got to go to this concert by winning tickets the question "Who was the singer in Mott The Hoople"? it was easy it was Ian Hunter ... my older brother's favorite band
this fits the situation that is going on with that 16 year old missing girl right now who got kidnapped down south in cali. found her lil brother n mother dead from the kidnapper. hope they find her alive soon.
It was a benefit for the Sara Anne Wood foundation in honor of the subject of the song. The entire show is on TH-cam but I forget what that guy called it. I've posted a few individual songs. They probably come up when this one plays
That were also sampled drums. Either Carl played a sample kit or it wasn't recorded by him at all. Keith Emerson seems to be absent of this and other tracks of the album either.
Greg Lake- a wonderful man, son, husband, father, talented artist, friend & human being.
He is missed❤. 🙏💔 RIP

I believe he had the best voice in rock.
Couldn't agree more
And got better with age
Simply the best
Exquisite indeed 🎤💖
Yes he did . Unbelievable. The drummer stinks though.
David Byron was my favorite and still is for his range but Greg was amazing❤️

One of the best voices in Rock ever , RIP Greg. I love this guy, he is so decent and such a good lyrisist and composer, an Icon in Music. forever.
Twenty-eight years on and this is still a heartbreak - the song, the story, the reality. Rest in peace, Greg Lake. Rest in peace, Sara Anne.

Met him twice once as a small boy then. Years later as an adult nicest man I've ever met gave me advice when I was in a bad place
I met him in 1986. Such a gentleman.
Lucky u.
You are lucky, I met many, especially David Bowie but to know Greg Lake, what a treat, he shows his good heart in every turn. May he rest in Peace.

I love Mott the Hoople too, that's a good story. I can spot myself in the audience of this show
Ian Hunter wrote Cleveland Rocks as a tribute to the city that first recognized Mott The Hoople, as it had so many talented bands over the years.
@@moonrich3492 thanks for that cool tidbit

you -- the angel watcher,as time goes on..lots of songwriters do their own versions...i'd assume the issued seat was quite moveable..
Too sad to put in words. / ‘Me & Little Andy’- Dolly Parton /😢Waterworks
Amazingly Beautiful.
Greg Lake: Dinosaur, giant musician & person.
And you are a bad person because you talk shit about humble people like Enrique Iglesias!

very good but i prefer the drums in the album version
It was a very small stage , no room for a full drum kit
@@LiberatedGalaxy i would like to say the rythm is not the same... but is very good!
