SMC U42 42" ceiling fan in antique brass, another ceiling fan that I found in the trash during Cleanup Week 2016. This one in particular is the earlier version with the strange stamped blade arms and Laguna switch housing. It cleaned up pretty well, one blade has a bad patch of paint on the plain side that I haven't been able to remove, but I'd always choose stencil anyways so it doesn't matter much. I'm not entirely sure what's up with low speed, it seems sluggish but everything seems to be in proper working condition. Despite the low speed (which I actually appreciate being slow), the other two speeds are quite powerful and it moves great air for being a hugger fan. It's not quiet by any means, in fact it's downright noisy, but it certainly is one that you don't see everyday.
