I Played Dragon Ball Sparking Zero and it's PEAK, the game is infinitely more fun to play than it is to watch and I can guaranteed it goes HARD even with the few playable characters available you can still have a raging blast!

I’ve said it before, but I personally love that you won’t always lock on when you swap or if the cpu swaps. Adds an extra layer of strategy

That Warp Kamehameha Counter attack is really cool.
It's so funny how happy and upbeat Goku sounds when he used instant transmission and said 'Kamehameha'. It's like he's at a children's party and he got a request from a five year old to say the line.
They better fix a lot of these moves on giants because the game is a month away and we still can’t dragon fist Hirudegarn or even Beast kick Cell Max 😭😭😭😭
Wdym alot of these moves the only move that doesn't work is the dragonfist on giants
They ain't gonna fix it cause the giants are much bigger now, their actual size, in the old games they were not this huge.
@@omegabossking but the move the op mention is specifically used against giants. Making it unusable will make if will be such a huge disservice to the said movie they taking the moves from.

They'd have to set special parameters for Dragon Fist and other certain rush attacks to trigger a unique animation when used against Giants.
Great video. DB Z introduced me into the genre. I was so close to visiting Japan one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity to visit the place that inspired artists like Toriyama San. R.I.P. and movie like 'Akira' or 'Ghost in the Shell'.

Someone has gotta check changes in the new update on characters that people have had minor problems with, such as trunks’s super long blast animation and underwhelming muscles in ssj, or burter’s weird clipping.

They really need to fix minor problems like the undertone muscles, weird clippings, and the unbalanced blast clashes prepositions as in now we're a month away from official release.
I like how they totally revamped the giant gameplay. They’re actually accurate size and seem to have their own style rather than just standard combos but big.

Am I the only one that thinks the beams need major improvements?
They’re way too small and I feel like that’s a major oversight people aren’t mentioning, most ultimate and super attacks hide it quite well through clever camera angles and the animations themselves, but the in-game beam attacks make their great build-up animations majorly anticlimactic in most cases,
Take Super Vegeta for example, in the anime the beam was so large they cut back to a view of the Earth to fully view it, but I don’t even have to use such a drastic example, big beam attacks are a staple and I feel their absence massively takes away from the intensity of the battles
Along with that, what happened to those earth-view camera angles? The old games had them and they added a lot to the fights, FighterZ and Kakarot both have it too

@@v4ry_ I wouldn’t call it ‘crying’ when the anime game is missing a large aspect that makes up the anime’s fights, I mean look at how Kakarot handled it in particular, that’s probably the best Ki attacks in general have ever looked, they look like they walked right off the pages of the manga, and it even enhanced them, making them gush during beam struggles
It looked awesome, by comparison Sparking Zero’s are massively inferior
beams curve and whatnot so ig it makes sense they’re not massive

Starting to think of the ability to deflect beams is even worth it anymore if we lose such an essential aspect of the series in the process, just have them be blockable instead and increase the size by A LOT
@@time2e636 i’ll be playing mostly online so from that perspective i would rather them curve and have a chance to hit. if they had big straight beams like how it used to be there would never be a reason to use a ki blast super that’s not in a combo especially cause the maps on this game seem to be pretty wide

There is still a lot of room for improvement. In my opinion the lights when you hit punches are too much they should be opaque and not luminous. The camera is horrible during techniques. The night sky when full ki should be optional. The smoke effects should be redone because they are almost all the same. Finally ki blasts should be more dbz looking than super looking in terms of artwork.

@@ningensan8198 isnt that good to avoid the problem of when the stage destructs the new geography of the map puts you inside the ground or in weird places? Normally every cutscen in tenkaichi 3 placed you in the center so weird stuff doesnt happen.

They aren't, if you want a big beam you have to charge up the move or use an ultimate
Really hate Sean Schimmel and how little effort he's clearly putting into this when compared to all the other voice actors. I'll admit some of the other VAs line delivery isn't great either, but Sean Schimmel is by far the worst offender for this. The more drastic examples of this would be his "You fool" line delivery and when he says Kamehameha for x20. He has several other lines with really poor delivery that it reminds me a lot of how terribly he performs for Dokkan, which has even more examples of this.
You can defend him all you want and say, "Bro, there's nothing wrong with his delivery in those, you don't know what you're talking about," and other copium, but it still doesn't change the truth.
