We are taking you to Haiti's central park: Champ de Mars. This large green space is home to many important statues of important founders and historical ceremonial pieces while being a large and generally calm space to enjoy a lazy afternoon in a park setting And we then take you to the historic Le Plaza Hotel, in existence in Haiti since 1951, and being a welcoming 92 room hotel for weary travelers up until today.
Let's explore both these places together!

Thank you for showing Haiti in a most beautiful way.
The country has so much potential, it’s a shame that we have no leaders smh
Yes and the history of govt reluctantance of having diaspora involved in govt politics unfortunately.
Up to folks to pull thru and do our part no choice unfortunately and By the way it's burger week in Haiti and Sejeanty himself sure he will feast ! 😁
No gouvernement since 1804 , a country full of leaders that can’t any voice coherent vision that’s sound and acceptable. Even the population are to be fearful of when they are confronted to valid arguments. DT was right 😪
Become the leader you want to see.
Don't listen to him, he knows nothing about Haiti history. the Haitian president jean Pierre boyer ruled the whole island in the eighteen hundred. plus, the Haitian president, petion, helped plenty of south American countries obtain their independence. also, Google Frederick Douglass document or speech on Haiti, and learn how much doesn't know about Haiti. plus, Haiti has helped the Dominican republic plenty of times in the eighteen hundred, plus in the nineteen hundred.@@zoetele123
@@juanito5418 your information is way way far from the truth. do a little research before you speaks on matters that you know nothing about.
What a great job this great man is doing for our dear Haiti!
When all this has died down, I am ready to come back to Beautiful Haiti. Thank you for showing the beauty of Haiti
The music got me also. I love the Kompa from back in the day, the winning guitar really set Haiti on as unique and special, distinguishes it as it own from its neighbors,, Back in New York during the late 70s everyone would know when the Haitians would roll in down Eastern Parkway by the music, strong, vibrant and pulsating making everyone want to be a part. I love the Haitian culture and its people, Sure to visit soon and get a feel of the genuine experience and vibes.
Great job. 🇭🇹 I have a few Haiti videos but this makes me want to go back & step it up... drone & everything!
Man I love the music, reminds me very much of home.
Thank you for this video. Your videos are like TripAdvisor but on TH-cam and in video format. Love how you personalize it by showing your viewers so much more and of course, speaking with management is an added bonus. Can’t wait to go back to Haiti.
Le Plaza Hotel, one of my favorite place in Haiti. I am so in love of their Haitian cuisine. Best place to learn or experience true Haitian food. Thanks t bring that to us. Hands up bro
C'est super beau et attrayant votre travail monsieur.
Bravo et merci à vous!
I lovvvvved it. A show that all of my kids all sat around quietly to hear. My 9nyr old grab a notebook to take notes for the champ de mars show. Keep them coming please. By the way how can we donate to the st Louis du sud project. My kids are ready to empty out the piggy bank. Thank you for doing this for us.

Le Plaza Hotel is hands down the nicest hotel in central PAP. Full delicious breakfast is included. Not just cold cereal and some pastry. No, you are treated to a delicious hot breakfast with a variety of juices and Haitian coffee - best coffee in the world.
Plus the staff will treat you like royalty. You're in for an amazing experience. I can't wait to go back.
The food is sooo good there!
Wow! Great work man. I love watching you representing my Haiti cheri.
I went to that Hotel.. .. on my first night in back in Haiti after 23 years. It's a nice place
Great job!!!
Please, you can do a video about the coast or beaches of Port au Prince?
Thank goodness. There's no colonial statue, but pure Afrikan fighter's that we Ayitien should be proud of. Thank you very much for displaying that @ SeeJeanty.
But the street has colonial s name.
@@peterjohnenelsonbien-aime8486 which streets?
1964 was my first visit to Le Plaza when Haiti and PaP was knock-out stunningly gorgeous! Champs de Mars was dense with mature trees. Art was everywhere. Having been involved with a number of Haitian hotels over time we know that Le Plaza is a survivor.
This address has been host to countless Balls, important events, and at times of stress an island of safety and comfort.
There's a lot of history at Le Plaza that reflects the participation of so many cultures and personalities.
Jeanty can't tell it all. Do go by for a meal, a beverage, or a week!
They’re not Africans but Créoles(blacks and mulâtres)born and bread on the island and accomplished military officers in the French army
Another. Great. Episode...🇭🇹🎬🔥

When I went to Haiti at 1978 my grand uncle live in walking distance from that area I visited the chame Mars and rented a motorcycle. they used to be a movie theater there?
Triomphe was rebuilt after the earthquake. Rex unfortunately is still in ruins.

Perfect coverage brother...
J'aime ce que vous faites.
I’m in Haiti right now but it is hard getting around with no car but it is nice. Love the video ❤️🔥
Keep up the good work!!!
This is an awesome video, thanks for sharing this. Do you think you can do a video or two about the real-estate market and taking owner ship of land/property in Haiti as a foreigner.
Nice work man...keep up the good work bro.
Thanks for sharing! Love Haitian cuisine and history. What’s the name of the song playing? Sounds like Rodrigue Milien???
Very Dope Bro
A shame the National Palace has not been rebuilt yet. Would be great to see an earthquake-proof version of it built using the same architectural style.
Haiti needs two things and it will have an economic explosion! Justice and law enforcement. And the economy will do the rest.. We love you Haiti!
Thanks my brother
HAITI to the World............ Keep the videos ...........

Toussaint did not sign the first constitution. It was signed by Dessalines, Henri Christophe and others. Unfortunately the extraordinary founding father Toussaint had died a year before in Fort-de-Joyce in the French Jura Mountains of pneumonia.
Haïti Great country the best and the world for culture and nation beautiful people. Good haïti freach.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥♥️
Thank you my frent good djoob
They need 2 have cameras to guard these monuments. So no one will not destroy them. & heavy police there@ all times.
If haiti had tall towers earthquake proof a very different political system no voodoo@ all ? It would make a very beautiful prosper place 2 live.
That's a very beautiful hotel!
It is very important 2 enjoy nature @ the capital. God bless you jeanty!
But don't get me wrong I watch you and admire your courage bro
@seeJeanty there is a distortion when you're speaking in this video. You might want to look into that. Other than that, great job. keep bringing us great content. Been your watching your contents for a while now.
Almost forgot how home looks I left the country in 2004 I was 4 -5 years old man o man
Please go to Cap-Haïtien
They clean that place up compared to when I was there
@Marie Alphonse oh boy here we go internet warrior
Okap waiting for you my brother ...
Nothing like grilled goat 😂😂😂😂😂
Nobody talks about how the country was safe in 2013- 2014, we started to sense the coming of a great Haiti. Now let us see what happens with this new $4B national budget.
I remember going to Champs de Mars as a kid in the early 2000s even bicentenniare was safe.
Been there done that
le plaza same size of my father highschool , hotel...
👍 nice. When I come there. How much per night I would like to stay a whole week
Bro you got a new subscriber, but please tell me the namr of that song in the background! It has to be either les Gypsies de Petionville or Les Dificiles de Petionville. I just can’t remember the song name for the life of me 🙏🏾
DJ Michael Brun has beat just like it in a song called Bayo

Hotel sa la lontan koum gen kob map fe on gala pou yo epi bay yo on plak pou kouray yo malgre tout bagay yo tj la.e pi sak dur an kote yo ye an c kote plis rezistans politik fet yo stil la.
OMG Haiti needs some beautiful towers , beautiful building to make champ de Mars Beautiful , that not looks like a capital seriously
Don’t need towers to be beautiful.
Haveyou ever visited Dominican republic? Can you see how beautiful is the country with such amazing beautiful buildings? I live here for 15 years since when I was a kid all my dream is seeing my country looks like 60 percent like the neighbor's are but I think I will die I will never be able to see my own country looks good someday
JAYYY POWERMAX
I went to a few countries and I leave in Canada. I know what towers is about BUT towers don’t define beauty for me even if it’s the capital.
New York city is nice BUT I wouldn’t love to see this type of construction in PaP.
My opinion we can still be a nice caraibeen country without towers.
@@giniolamy I'm so angry with that shit , I have my low self-esteem just bc I can't have a beautiful country like another countries bc we only have bad government which they don't worry about the nation
It will just get burned when people and their masters get upset at whoever is in the presidency.
Well, They're working on amending the constitution to allow those of us who became citizen of other countries to be able to hold office. I truly think that it's a good idea. No one should be elected president without spending some time in developed countries for some time just to see how things work and to and to be able to make the changes that we really need which is unique to our tropical paradise. Haiti for Haitian and outsiders come last unless you have ancestral connections....I could be wrong but let us know your opinion
