The cabbage rolls recipe is VERY worth it. Takes the nappa cabbage, and a bunch of common stuff, nothing that requires purchase. The stared version gives 412 focus. And the xp on craft is pretty darn good too.
Thanks for the advice! I have been looking for something that will fill half my bar or a little less. Right now I've got 960-ish focus andf the starred Chili Oil Dumplings give +525, which makes me reluctant to eat 2 at a time.
Same here. I will likely never use some of them (at this point, there aren't even many NPCs still worth gifting to) but I like to be able to cook _anything_ , if possible.
The Taiyaki IS supposed to be available as star quality, but it's currently not obtainable. S6 team knows about the issue and has mentioned it in discord. They do still request that players file support tickets for any issues, including known ones, so they know how bad the situation is. The order I've gotten my stuff: (I did get all of the plushies at the first Maji Market, so I'm not worried about those, but I think they would be last if I hadn't gotten them.) 1. The new crops. I immediately planted 2 of each, used Quality Up fertilizer, and then threw them into the seed machine so I'd have star quality crops. 2. ALL of the recipes, because cooking is my highest skill and I wanted to be able to make all of them immediately. 3. Overstocked on soy sauce, because, again, cooking is my highest skill, and I love cooking parties. 4. All of the different foods, until I got a star quality of each (except the Taiyaki of course, I'm watching discord for updates). I got the star hot pot from the stamp card, so I didn't buy any of those. 5. All of the new furniture and decorations. 6. Working on the wallpapers from Zeki now. I don't use fireworks often, so those are going to be last, unless I end up having way too many tickets before star Taiyaki is available. I'm earning my tickets mostly via Hot Pot, but I do take a break at 12:10 in game for Chapaa Chase, just because it's fun, then run back to hot pot for a final game or two. You can spin the wheel at any time, even when the market has ended for the night, so I wait until then OR I'll spin the wheel if I show up early and happen to have the coins for it.
Idk if this will work buf if you put in a request they might refund you. Ive seen players do this for rare fish that they cooked on accident and they got the fish back.
The Floating Lantern firework has a pretty lame effect, though, to be honest. Unless I'm using it wrong? Is it supposed to be shot into the water or something?
It's honestly personal choice to what you want... but if you want gold starred, Zeki's food and Reth's hot pot are bugged. I started with wallpaper and recipes, then went for the furniture I wanted. Only after I bought all off those did I buy food, and only soy sauce & the unique foods.
I've started with furniture and wallpapers. Food and recipes are not my priority, so I'm leaving those for later if I still have lucky envelopes for it.
Ive been buying the stuff i want/need for quests first like furniture and seeds then if i have some left over which im sure i will ill buy fireworks and other stuff
They don't take up storage slots, but if you've decided you don't like them and just don't want them anymore, you can put them into your bag/active inventory, open your menu with the P button (I only play pc, idk how to open it on switch), then right-click it and select "throw away" If you change your mind, you'll have to buy them again. It does permanently delete it from your inventory. You can do this with most, if not all, items including furniture you don't want anymore. I'm unsure if it works with old quest items.
Yeah, that price is crazy, even as someone that does do cake parties. But it is also at the Chapaa Hut Prizes shop for 8000 lucky envelopes. I bought it for gold, then had instant regret when I found it at literally the next shop over for envelopes.
@@ScreamingStar64the one you can get with envelopes is a mini version though, I bought two of those because they're too cute but I am saving to buy a couple of the large one as well so I can have them all displayed together like a tiny dragon family lol
@@ScreamingStar64 They are two different items - trust me, I have both. You'll notice one is called "mini", it's slightly smaller and a different color.
Thank you for this video!! But also omg, I can't believe there's a glitch on the taiyaki items! I spent so much trying to get them 😭😭Do you know how to get the Maji Market Hotpot Rug? It's in the blog they posted but nobody knows anything about it :(
Yeah or eat it like I do to get.more focus. It makes more sense to me to eat starred food to fill focus completely, or sell them for more coins than regular versions of the food and other products. Doesn't make sense to me to decorate with starred items when they're so valuable to sell
Use your bow and fireworks. U can equip fireworks like regular arrow (rightclick) and u can purchase fireworks at the Mahi market or in zekis shop at the sewer (night) or after lvl 10hunting at hassian shop
i'll be honest the transitions were really confusing. I wasn't sure if the listed things were for before or after. A little bit eye-strainy, I had to flick through the video and even then... This didn't really give me any value I didn't already know, so pretty clickbait tbh with the "what you shouldn't buy" in the thumbnail. Everything you said can be figured out within walking into the maji market itself. The highest value thing is obviously the crops and recipes. The furniture next, then any limited time items the buyer might want to stockpile like the dragon firework, lantern firework and soy sauce. Next time just keep it short and concise, we don't need a monologue for nearly 2 and a half minutes backed with video footage of you running around the market. Anybody watching this video knows already what they're looking for because Palia has a niche audience.

Shot at the ground to make it rise. But the water might be cool like true floating lanterns
