What an fantastic interview. I always wanted to watch a long sit down interview with Ale but there never really was one (that I could find anyway). Whoever is doing the interview did a really good job, he let his guest talk, finish his answers and really hit a depth that is usually cut short if it's there at all. It felt like a real conversation and you really don't see that much anymore. Way rad you guys~
Damn. I fucking love Shakey Graves and feel like I know exactly what he meant by being on a path that you don't necessarily understand. For anyone else interested in honing and understanding what I'd call "destiny" check out The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Guide to Creativity. It's an incredible book that opens you up to all the mysteries of the universe and helps you tap into that "river" and cross the "close layer between reality and what runs along side reality"... ie listening to that higher harmonic and letting them ghosts inhabit your skeleton and create for you.
Dude is unbelievable, and he knows it, but he doesn't care. It almost seems like the music is pouring out of him uncontrollably at times, but right before it derails, he reels it back in and does things with the soul that can only be defined within the music itself. Absolutely brilliant songwriter
Double that, what BlackBridge said... I see in you what I am experiencing myself, except I have no way to express it, so it tortures me. Haunts me. I can only hope that the real you and the real me will be able to figure out some music that I have written (a growing PILE of songs). I would BE HONORED.
The thing about Alejandro is that he’s so mysterious and I’d love to learn more about his personal life. Like what he does in his spare time, what his interests are. I’d love to just learn more about him and have like a TH-cam channel where he documents his day to day life.
