Ive always had a hard time appreciating the reconstruction loss thing to not worry about the error term...since the final layer needs the true label anyway (and the whole system too)
@@CharlesVanNoland the brain has a lag so it does all these computations to cover up for the lag, so it tends to make assumptions for us to survive that's why we have fear to react on time. I guess your hypothesis is biologically plausible to some extent.

Brains make their own labels internally and associate perceptions with those labels.
