I bought a set of these at full price quite a while back and really like them, so when I saw them at a discount I picked up anther set! I think they go really well with my Holbein pastels and really opens up my possibilities!
I think this set might enhance the Colousoft or Art-N-Fly sets, esp with the softer cores. Pretty, bold colors for sure, but I'm gonna wait for a deeper price drop. For 36 colors it's just not grabbing me as a "great deal" yet. Appreciate you checking these out for us!!!!
Just letting everyone know the color numbers AREon the end of the pencil, printed in SILVER on the end cap of the pencil-you hav to actually turn the pencil so you’re looking at the opposite end of the point.
@@petragunther4439Hey, it happens. Until I was out of high school, I thought the word “misled” was the past tense of “misle” (a nonexistent verb) rather than the past tense of “mislead.” 😂 I finally heard it aloud while reading it (“mis-led”). I understood what it meant all along; I just spent a lot of time alone with my books as a kid. Thank God I never used “misle” in class. My friends would never have let me live that down.
This set seems like an introductory set to test the market?? Being new to the pencil market, tipping a toe in to start seems like a smart business choice. Very pretty colors!! 🌈 I'm always so excited when your video announcements pop up!! 🥰 I'm glad you made time for this video!! 👍 Who do you watch for inspiration and ideas on TH-cam?
Posca pencils aren't new... they've been around for a few years. Same 36 color set. They are just usually pretty expensive $85+ US for such a small set.
Those look lovely to use. Thank you for the wonderful content you provide for us. I recently subscribed to your channel. They are $66 for me on Amazon in Canada 😞
@@terilew1 I looked everywhere on amazon japan and I couldn't find them! Are you sure you aren't thinking of the Uni Mitsubishi colored pencils? They are by the same brand but don't have the posca label. I've heard those aren't quite as nice to use as the poscas so if there's a 72 set, I'm dying to find it!
Hi Pamela, why do you prefer the Dahle 133 over the Derwent Superpoint manual? I was happy with my Derwent Superpoint, it was all good sharpening my Black Widows and Faber Castell Polychromos...and then i was sharpening my new Arrtx pencils... 😢 half of them got damaged and cut into the pencil.. so i got out my Prismacolor pencils . The first one was ok but then I sharpened the second Prisma and it also got damaged. Another note, the Crayola Signature set is a NIGHTMARE TO SHARPEN 😮😩😵💫 That pencil is very flimsy and difficult to cut into the wood with both the Derwent Superpoint, The Alvin Brass Bullet was so tough to cut into.. i then used my cheap Faber Castell school one and the Prismacolor sharpener.. but those Crayola Signature pencils dont do well at all. How is the Jarlink or Dahle with these problem pencils?
Hi, just come across your video via a recommendation (am still watching it). Not sure if you noticed, but you only swatched 35 of the 36 colors. No idea which one you missed as I don't have the pencils
@@PamelasPassionforPencils I realized the missed one is from either the first or second tray as there was an odd number of swatches when you moved on to the last

@@PamelasPassionforPencils thanks, I prefer color names over the numbers(I can never remember numbers) but I guess I can deal with a small set. I’d been wanting to try the Posca pencils out for a while. It’s finally at a price I can justify, lol.

Aha, this was one I really wanted! Glad I snagged them for the great price. They arrived in perfect shape, which is rare for Amazon!
Oh boy, another pencil set. Purchased before I finished the video. Thaannnk youuuu, Pam
I hope you love them!

I remember that moment. I was so angry for long time about missing numbers/names.... It was embarrassing when I finally found out 😂

Thanks I was thinking they left off names and / or numbers.
woohoo- bravo, great edition,
Thanks for the review. I don't need an add on set, I have so many sets I haven't begun to use yet, but they do look wonderful!
I wonder if Posca is going to come out w a bigger set?
I just got my set. They are now my favorite pencils. Mine did not come with the rubber band.

Would love to know how opaque these are for layering lighter colors over markers (alcohol or water based) to use as highlights!
Thanks

Welcome to my channel! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice colour range. I wouldn't be surprised if Posca releases a larger set soon.
I hope so!

The derwent superpoint ended up putting marks on my pencils. I love the Dahle 133.
They already upped the price on Amazon to $50 US (within the last hour), that was a quick price drop

What is in your patreon account that can not be seen here?
are the color names of the pencils not on the pencil?
No they aren’t. They’re on the plastic that is over the pencils.

My ones each have a number on the end - but it’s difficult to read. Then on the outer flimsy case there is a list connecting the number with a name.
Yes! They have a number written in SILVER on the END TIP of the pencil!
@@silentb2084 I have a hard time with numbers. I can't seem to remember them very well. So I'd rather deal with names.
Is it just me, or did she only swatch 35 colors?
