even in ranked i saw some players annoyed with 50 ping, which is laughable. i play from ksa on eu 80 to 120 ping every game with no issues, i don't think extra 20 millisecond will give you that huge of an edge on your opponents. ggs though very nice series

It looked like eekso got in his own head even before the match and then lost all concentration when the server talk started. This had nothing to do with servers, eekso just had a really poor day
All of the comments are complaining about them being discontent with the servers but when your game is completely reliant on making precise movements and accurate touches it’s really annoying when the reason you’re losing isn’t because of that. Like leth in the first match was losing a ton of kickoffs but when you watch his gameplay on the home servers he wins all of them.

I’ve played with friends who haven’t played too much and when I see the game lag, they find it difficult to see. In fact, when I first started I played on like 140 ping and couldn’t tell the difference, now I’m really frustrated by anything over 90.

Leth is so smart, he knew flicks would work against eekso on NA so he went for more of them. That last goal was calculated as well, he boost starved him the whole way to his own net knowing eekso couldn't challenge any dribble with no boost.

I think I noticed something about Lethamyr's flicks when his opponent goes behind the ball, Lethamyr doesn't just flick when he can't see the player, he judges the distance between the ball and the opponent and times the flick depending on how long it could take them to close the distance, or for him to close the distance towards them Just my thoughts as a person tryna improve at the game sometimes 🤷♂️
JawTM Pretty much all the flicks seen from Leth’s pov this game showed no right stick movement as far as I can remember. Comes more down to experience and intuition.

I'm only half way through game 4 so I'm carefully writing this to avoid spoiling the results but holy shit. That shot at 29:25 was insane. Leth is playing out of his mind so far. If not for that "failed" demo at the end of game 1 it's looking like Leth would have swept eekso. Johnny brought up a good point in this game. Both of these players were really struggling on 100 ping but to oKhalid that's normal.
Before watching the series. Leth wins here. EU wins the other 3 1st round match ups. Leth then beats flakes. Alpha upsets okhalid for both 3 seeds to make finals. Leth takes finals despite not knowing who gets extra game advantage if same seeds play each other in finals.

Before okalid destroyed the EU competition I would have called it a toss up between fairy and flakes for best in the world bc of how much work flakes was putting into 1s before the rlcs season and his results. Eekso is trying his best. 95% of the time Leth makes his opponent look like they're not good. He's constantly changing everything up and his opponent can't get into a rhythm because they don't know if what they are doing will be effective or if Leth will challenge or not. It makes you hesitate and if you hesitate at this level, you missed your opportunity to score.

The difference between Eekso and Leth is that Leth is simply a smarter player. Eekso threw away his 2 goal lead in the 6th game because he went for completely unnecessary high-risk plays. Such a hard player to root for, he reminds me of LionBlaze, one of these players that seemingly never reaches their full potential.
If eekso bumps, he wins. If he challenges we’ll, he wins. Leth is literally the perfect counter to both of these options! Poor eekso, definitely could’ve won.

I'm a huge fan of his play style, but that doesn't say anything about him as a person. From my observations, as a person, Leth is almost sociopathic in the way he consistently (VERY consistently) tilts his opponents with whatever it is that he is typing in chat. I wouldn't actually call him a sociopath, though, only a narcissist. Go back and watch every Lethamyr match in history on this channel and you'll find that he's always got something to say, and he's great at using words to win the game his way and get in his opponent's head. You'll also find that he gets pissy about things that he shouldn't be pissy about. He expects things to go his way. I say all of this from champ 3 level experience in 1v1 myself, as well as having studied Leth and personalities in general. He's a great player, and he knows what he's doing. I just probably wouldn't want to hang out with him as a friend.

JawTM Pretty much all the flicks seen from Leth’s pov this game showed no right stick movement as far as I can remember. Comes more down to experience and intuition.

I'm only half way through game 4 so I'm carefully writing this to avoid spoiling the results but holy shit. That shot at 29:25 was insane. Leth is playing out of his mind so far. If not for that "failed" demo at the end of game 1 it's looking like Leth would have swept eekso.
Johnny brought up a good point in this game. Both of these players were really struggling on 100 ping but to oKhalid that's normal.

Before watching the series. Leth wins here. EU wins the other 3 1st round match ups. Leth then beats flakes. Alpha upsets okhalid for both 3 seeds to make finals. Leth takes finals despite not knowing who gets extra game advantage if same seeds play each other in finals.

Before okalid destroyed the EU competition I would have called it a toss up between fairy and flakes for best in the world bc of how much work flakes was putting into 1s before the rlcs season and his results. Flakes is still tough competition and I just chose the upset for drama. Wouldn't be surprised if either won.

I don't think players should be allowed to ff unless they are down a ridiculous amount of goals in the deciding game, not in the middle of a series when you're down 4 goals with like 80 seconds left. Just because you don't like playing with high ping? Just my opinion. Ggs both players though
I give leth the edge in this match. Leth is remarkably good against fast players. For example, he's the only NA player to beat first in recent memory, and eekso plays stylistically quite similar to first

Eekso is trying his best. 95% of the time Leth makes his opponent look like they're not good. He's constantly changing everything up and his opponent can't get into a rhythm because they don't know if what they are doing will be effective or if Leth will challenge or not. It makes you hesitate and if you hesitate at this level, you missed your opportunity to score.

The difference between Eekso and Leth is that Leth is simply a smarter player. Eekso threw away his 2 goal lead in the 6th game because he went for completely unnecessary high-risk plays. Such a hard player to root for, he reminds me of LionBlaze, one of these players that seemingly never reaches their full potential.
If eekso bumps, he wins. If he challenges we’ll, he wins. Leth is literally the perfect counter to both of these options! Poor eekso, definitely could’ve won.

Leth mentions ping a lot but doesn't okhalid play with similar ping? I don't think it makes as big a difference as some people think, or else okhalid should lose every kickoff. I don't like watching someone play while making excuses.

@@AqworldsAsh In the way Leth acts, he is narcissistic. I've watched Johnny's channel since its inception and I've seen every match Leth has played here. I'm a huge fan of his play style, but that doesn't say anything about him as a person. From my observations, as a person, Leth is almost sociopathic in the way he consistently (VERY consistently) tilts his opponents with whatever it is that he is typing in chat. I wouldn't actually call him a sociopath, though, only a narcissist. Go back and watch every Lethamyr match in history on this channel and you'll find that he's always got something to say, and he's great at using words to win the game his way and get in his opponent's head. You'll also find that he gets pissy about things that he shouldn't be pissy about. He expects things to go his way. I say all of this from champ 3 level experience in 1v1 myself, as well as having studied Leth and personalities in general. He's a great player, and he knows what he's doing. I just probably wouldn't want to hang out with him as a friend.

Him and I have similar personalities so I can understand what he really means when he says things that rub some people the wrong way; he's not trying to be mean it's just his form of communicating. But Leth won't show his ugly side to the internet and especially not his own TH-cam channel. I don't blame him for that; it's a perfectly sound business decision, and I would do the same were I in his shoes. But don't be fooled by the clips you see of him. Just like a freestyle montage, you don't see all the failures, or in Leth's case, his narcissism. I've only barely been able to read him because of how long I've watched him (since his first showmatch) and by being around lots of narcissism myself. You can choose to agree/disagree or believe/disbelieve, I'm only giving you my two cents.

Players should not be allowed to forfeit. It is tactically being used and takes away from the whole point of switching servers. Eg leth forfeiting to prevent eekso building momentum
