I hate how the writers constantly forget that Bane is an incredible intellect capable of competing with batman
So, in the comics when does he use his "incredible intellect"?
@@aquarius4884 in his very first storyline he literally raises himself out of prison and heads a criminal empire before getting to Gotham systematically weakening batman until he finally broke him.
I agree, I love the Bane character of The Dark Knight Rises but I just wish that he had more Bane elements. Even Bane in the comics became a successor to Ra’s Al Ghul, I might be wrong
@@aquarius4884 He outmaneuvered Batman in Knightfall. He's the 2nd notable person to know Batman is Bruce Wayne. He also was able to beat Ra's al Ghul in chess despite never playing; even Ra's said he had the finest mind he's ever seen and Bane was able to deceive Ra's and Talia to the point that even Ra's wanted him as his heir. He was the strategist for the Secret Six. And in Batman Rebirth, it's shown that Bane is really diabolical when it comes to psychological warfare and manipulation. He is shown to have a photographic memory, able to speak up to 14 languages, classically educated and erudite, is a brilliant strategist, learned how to fight and created his own styles, created his own workout routine that maximized his physique, etc.

Never understood why in some of the cartoons, Bane isn’t as smart as he is suppose to be. He’s suppose to be one of the most intelligent people Batman has ever faced.

@@ComicBookGuy420 - In the current "Batman: Rebirth" run, Bane indeed started his first storyline by capturing the Psycho-Pirate, so he can "hypnotize" (it's more complicated, but in short) Bane out of his Venom addiction.
But when Batman attacks his forteress in "I am Suicide" to take the Psycho-Pirate back for himself (long story), Bane reverts back to Venom in "City of Bane", and hasn't stopped using it since that time IIRC
In his final fight against Batman, Bruce even has to trick him into not using Venom so he would have a shot at taking him out.

Bane in Arkham Origins was amazing simply the best interpretation of the character along with Hardy's.
I like how in Hush, they stated that Bane was using a different Venom which was altering his mind to be less intelligent
In the comics the original venom formula ate away at his brain and continuously made him less intelligent over time like how many real world drugs act. It was only later that he got his hands on an improved version that gave him his mind back

She's in Justice League (the original cartoon), Batman and Superman: Public enemies, Justice League Action, the Brave and the Bold, Assault on Arkham, and Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay. She is also playable in Lego Batman 2, 3, and Lego DC Super Villains and appears in Injustice: Gods Among Us. In other words, she's been featured in a lot.
I forgot to say that she was also in Young Justice. Whoops.

Bane uses a mechanical tube system to feed the Venom drug into his system. Using an apparatus on his wrist, he can injects Venom into the base of his skull with the press of a button.

For a second I thought it was Batman and Harry potter.
I remember finding out that my favourite Batman villain(at the time) was going to be in Batman & Robin, and being so excited. Then the movie was released and I rushed to the theatre...only to get a mindless, barely coherent, green-skinned servant. Considering that Bane was intelligent enough to beat the Batman in the comics, I was really disappointed.
Everyone was also disappointed about Bane in The Dark Knight Rises being played by a not-so-hulking actor who is 5'9" instead of 6'8".
I know right, Jeep Swenson had the size, but that was it, Bane wasn't a fuckin' mongoloid, I was so pissed

@@KenMasters. - Yeah, people often remember how fans though Heath Ledger was a bad choice for the Joker, but there was also a LOT of criticism over Tom Hardy (a nobody at the time, and not enough of a big guy to impress your basic nerd) playing him.
Most people were not impressed by the first pictures. Even after the film came out, and he became a fan favorite, a big chunk of the fanbase just never warmed up to him.
Funny how his version still stuck, he is still very popular nowadays. His voice in particular was very memeable.

Gotham’s bane is such a great and different take on bane. He’s a soldier and army commander and I really like that. Say what you want about his outfit I think it looks sick

Among animation I have always liked the Young Justice Bane the most, because it was the only show that fully embraced the intellect of Bane
Young justice did so much justice (no pun intended) to so many DC characters. Bane's heritage, intellect, and non venom strength are all present, and I loved it.
