Mira Road is a fast-developing locality and has seen economic development because of the manufacturing sector. This locality is a good mix of connectivity and convenience. The major approaching roads here are Western Express Highway, Kashimira Flyover, Uttan Road and Bhayandar Flyover. Apart from BEST buses, Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation has its own transportation facility named Mira Bhayandar Municipal Transportation.
Other than the buses, cabs and autos are also available for local transportation. While Mira Road railway station is 2 km via Station Road, Bhayandar railway station is 3 km via Mira-Bhayandar Road. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is about 23 km via Western Express Highway. Red Line 9 of the Mumbai Metro is a Dahisar Mira Bhayandar line and is an extension of Mumbai Metro Line 7 from Dahisar East to Mira Bhayandar. It will have a total of 8 elevated stations. Key employment hubs like Nesco, Nirlon Knowledge Park and Mindspace in Malad are situated close by.
