I was paying rent to a friend to let me stay with them and they didn't offer me a key for a while....it was embarrassing. I just gave my boyfriend a key to my first apartment. It was a huge step for me and I made it very clear that this is my space and that I WILL take my key back if he ever comes over unannounced. I’d never cheat on him so that’s not the reason I’d just be absolutely terrified thinking that someone’s breaking in! He doesn’t even use it... he still rings the door bell lol
I agree with Tam. I don't think sharing passwords is necessary if you're secure in yourself, your relationship, and trust each other. If you have to look in their phone, you're going to find something regardless if they are doing something shady or not. That's cause your frame of mind is already in that space.
Adrienne just wasnt compatible with that person. Like Loni said, some people just dont like giving keys. But if u feel hurt by that then your not with the right person. Ultimately, you know what u need in order to feel validated in a relationship. I had an ex that would do things all the time that got me upset. But i realized it wasnt always him doing something "wrong", but it was just that we weren't compatible in that way.
Delayva I think they just ignored it bc even people who are just friends give each other the passwords on their phone so it shouldn’t be a big deal to give your gf/bf your phone password
I was always taught to treat others when it's my birthday, so i expect when the birthday person herself calls us for the birthday she's treating us out... If we were planning a party for someone else obviously we would take care of it.
First. I am not giving any key to anyone unless we are married. And as for the phone thing..girl I have nothing to hide and if you need to borrow my phone to make a call whatever I’ll give like if you ask I’ll show, but if you just randomly ask me I’m sorry I’m saying no. My privacy is my privacy.
When I asked my ex what he was doing on his phone, it took him about 5 seconds to turn his phone around and show me and I could clearly see the movements of his fingers as he closed out of what he was on and opened something else to show.
He gave me a key to his place, after 2 weeks of dating him.we were not evn staying together.for me it felt like he was just putting a hold on me.as he was from a broken marriage.his actions towards me were not making justice as to why i have the key.he was insecure and had trust issues.the key thing it made me feel like he wanted me to feel like i was the only one..whereas his heart was still stuck in the past.i gave the key back, and told him .having a key to his place does not change anything for me.i wanted a key to his heart not his house.the guy was too posessive and we ended up breaking up.when guys give keys sometimes they have hidden intentions than what it really means to us ladies.
Loni's "You aint gettin no key sweetie" gets a BIG right on from me. You do not need a key to my apartment. Come visit- ring the bell, spend the night and go home and I do not need one either. Tell it Loni!! Poor Adrienne. I could tell she was still hurt with the old thoughts of that man who basically made her beg to gain entry to his home that he was allowing her to reside in at that time. Yet, he had all her apt keys. He had NO respect or regard for her at all and wanted her to know it. As beautiful as she is, to him she was just someone to pass the time imo.
Marriage doesn’t mean my life is a tell all book it is about having a mutual respect for each other and the relationship. When you are talking about getting a password helps you establish trust, you have some insecurities that you need to resolve. i don’t want the password to my bf’s phone, so I am not giving him mine. I think people should expect some level of privacy if it isn’t causing harm by putting someone at risk physically or emotionally.
DeVon Thomas Exactly. I’m not tolerating insecurities. It isn’t that I have anything to hide, it is because they have trust issues. No matter what you do, they will always will have an issue with trust.
A key to a guy's place means absolutely shi They'll still cheat they'll still play you they'll still switch up all that and neither is a password TRUST ME MEN CHANGE
It's frustrating watching this sometimes. Will they just allow Ade to complete her sentences! This isn't something to make light of she is helping others who are possible in the same situation or see those flags. It's annoying how they kept interrupting her. I'm so glad Ade is in a better place. Wish her nothing but the best.
Hearing Tam say she has a 5 yr old still in her bed reminds me of how on Tia and Tamera's reality show, she gave Tia a hard time for having Cree in her bed, and how when she becomes a parent, she wouldn't allow that.....lol
Ok I’m young and in uni: my friends and I all assume it’s separate and we all just set it like that from the beginning. I think if you’re just clear about that that’s amazing.
Just because you don’t get a key to your boyfriend‘ s place it doesn’t make a prediction of a relationship but it shows a trust thing it builds a trust thing
Happy that Adrienne found someone that values her ❤️ and loni your friend needs to stop being around broke people That’s embarrassing especially on your birthday if they knew they didn’t have the money should of stayed home people need to stop using other people .
Loni acts like a priss sometimes. She's very closed off and acts very single . I'm surprised she doesn't sleep in single beds in the same room😂 like damn what do you do in a relationship that is a relationship??
Me personally , I would love to live with my significant other before we get married and plan a life together just to see how they act . Sleepovers and actually living together is two completely different things especially if you & the person have differnt schedules , different ways of cleaning , different ways of even getting ready in the morning . But for the people out there saying you're not supposed to live with a man until you're married shut up . You cannot judge someone else's preference if you're not living their life I rather my significant other take his time before just immediately asking me to marry him , marriage is a big ass step buy people don't understand that .
Simple solution to inviting people for a birthday dinner... Send out the menu to everyone and ask if that restaurant is OK.. Real friends will say if its too expensive and then it's clear everyone is paying.
I don’t care how much you have or don’t have - if you hand out invites to your birthday and expect people to pay you cannot afford it! You’re actually inviting people to a venue not a party! Because imagine how many times we’d spend if everybody in our lives did that or that was the norm? Throw events / parties you can afford! And for all those who agree to do a lunch date/ meet up and will always escape the bill you have something else coming!
I've never had a birthday party, because I never wanted to force friends to come, pay the bill, and give me gifts. I've had very close friends do it one on one, or my partner.
I don't want or need my man's password to anything. If he cheats, it will come to light and I will move on. Requiring to have passwords is a level of insecurity I simply just CANNOT deal with.
At my 20th birthday party, I went to karaoke with my friends and they ordered three of everything on the menu without me knowing. They chipped in $20, and I was stuck with a $400 bill and started crying, They just said sorry and didn’t pay anymore.
I never have money to spate since I have a toddler. This is why I never go out, never have anyone over, and never like celebrating my birthday. I don't like people paying for my stuff.
im not giving a key till we share a home. and i wouldnt want a key either. my personal space is mine if you need a password to someones phone you yourself have trust issues. I dont care to have someones password. what could you possibly need it for? Case of an emergency coming up in that case 911 is always allowed locked or not on a phone.

My boyfriend handed me his phone on our first date with the passcode so I could DJ. Nothing sketchy. Totally open. It’s made for a great relationship.
That’s why the checks are separate when it’s a group
“If you’re DATING, why do you need the password?” They should’ve answered that. But Fiancé status, for me, is when my man and I traded keys 🔑
Delayva I think they just ignored it bc even people who are just friends give each other the passwords on their phone so it shouldn’t be a big deal to give your gf/bf your phone password
This is one of my favorite looks of Lonis. ❤️ they’re all so beautiful !
When loni said no Ho you don’t have to go... I legit choked😂😂
I was always taught to treat others when it's my birthday, so i expect when the birthday person herself calls us for the birthday she's treating us out... If we were planning a party for someone else obviously we would take care of it.
Yassss! That purple is Loni's color 😍
I love Adrienne.
She is such a pure spirit
Adrienne wanted him to open up his heart and he didn’t, and now she got a good man 😊
I almost broke down crying for Adrienne😪😭😢😥
The girls are all looking incredibly beautiful 😍😍😍
😂😂😂 “where do u cup him??” Tam: 😏😏😏😉😉
That 70's vibe is amazing on jeanie
When I asked my ex what he was doing on his phone, it took him about 5 seconds to turn his phone around and show me and I could clearly see the movements of his fingers as he closed out of what he was on and opened something else to show.
uh oh...
@@OngezwaDumel Your boyfriend is sadly cheating or he is looking up engagement rings. Either way, kick his *ss for hiding things lol
He gave me a key to his place, after 2 weeks of dating him.we were not evn staying together.for me it felt like he was just putting a hold on me.as he was from a broken marriage.his actions towards me were not making justice as to why i have the key.he was insecure and had trust issues.the key thing it made me feel like he wanted me to feel like i was the only one..whereas his heart was still stuck in the past.i gave the key back, and told him .having a key to his place does not change anything for me.i wanted a key to his heart not his house.the guy was too posessive and we ended up breaking up.when guys give keys sometimes they have hidden intentions than what it really means to us ladies.
yep...theyre all manipulative...or should I say MANipulative.. ;)
Ariel H #Facts. You better preach !!
What's the big deal if y'all have each other passwords if there's nothin shady...
I'm glad someone feels like me.
She didnt get a key to his home yet she gave one to him? Adrienne was stupid at that time. But atleast she knows it was a wrong relationship.
she should've changed the key lock if after 1 or 2 years he didn't give her his key
A key to a guy's place means absolutely shi
They'll still cheat they'll still play you they'll still switch up all that and neither is a password TRUST ME
MEN CHANGE
A key is a big deal, it shows how much a person trusts you.
Tam's stories make my day.
imso happy adrienne is married now. she deserve it! smh some of her storys from past relationships are crazy.
This is stil sad to watch😥
Lonnie: "oh...just cold.....okay🙄"
😂😂😂😂😂
Struggle relationships are real!!! Get out get out!! We’re worth so much more!!
I hate how they all act surprised at Adrienne telling the same story she told like 3-4 times already
Loni acts like a priss sometimes. She's very closed off and acts very single . I'm surprised she doesn't sleep in single beds in the same room😂 like damn what do you do in a relationship that is a relationship??
Maybe she’s just been hurt over and over. There’s always a reason why someone acts closed off.
Tamera my man and I cuddle the EXACT same way! -Alabama
Omg Jeanie take a breath sometimes, let others finish their thought before you jump in. this is a reminder to myself too.
Everybody needs boundaries Adrienne
Taylor Givens uhhhhh after 4 years?? ... u don’t need to b in a relationship with that mentality 🥴
I have no business watching this tbh, and I can't believe I watched the whole thing. But they right lol
I've never had a birthday party, because I never wanted to force friends to come, pay the bill, and give me gifts. I've had very close friends do it one on one, or my partner.
"Is your trainor hot btw" i love Jeannie hahahaa
Never ever ever give a man a key, unless he's paying half the rent. Never
@john smith yes, why should a woman get a key to your house if she doesn't live there. No key
Wait....so they’re never actually “live” when they air?
A romantic relationship. A key and a place should be shared. For lifelong hopefully successful companionship.
I learn a lot from this ladies all the time
I don't want or need my man's password to anything. If he cheats, it will come to light and I will move on. Requiring to have passwords is a level of insecurity I simply just CANNOT deal with.
True. What’s done in the dark will always come to light. I don’t need to search for nothing.
Sooo, do you have Jeezy's passwords to all of his phones Jeannie Mai? 🤷🏽♀️
I don't want his key..he's not getting my key...we not ever living together...if I die someone will have to break because I don't trust nobody...
At my 20th birthday party, I went to karaoke with my friends and they ordered three of everything on the menu without me knowing. They chipped in $20, and I was stuck with a $400 bill and started crying, They just said sorry and didn’t pay anymore.
Sorry that happened. .. that's sad.
I never have money to spate since I have a toddler. This is why I never go out, never have anyone over, and never like celebrating my birthday. I don't like people paying for my stuff.
I love loni she is such a good friend.
any birthday dinner I have ever had, everyone pays for themselves... I was shocked when I started to see how it can be considered rude lmao
12:15 - 12:23 I lost it with Loni Love HAHAHA I was drinking water, Loni. Water just went through my nose, DAMN hahaha hysterical
I’m not giving no man that’s not my husband, my passwords and a key to my place. People are insecure and have trust issues, and I ain’t got time.
im not giving a key till we share a home. and i wouldnt want a key either. my personal space is mine
if you need a password to someones phone you yourself have trust issues. I dont care to have someones password. what could you possibly need it for? Case of an emergency coming up in that case 911 is always allowed locked or not on a phone.
My husband doesn't understand that whole if you invite someone out you should pay. If you both make plans together then you pay for yourselves
