Governor Siminalayi Fubara says he is not bothered by the Court of Appeal Judgment on the leadership tussle affecting the State House of Assembly.
The Governor reacted to the judgment shortly after inspecting the ongoing reconstruction at the Zonal Hospital project in Khana Local Government Area.
He assured that his administration will not be distracted but remain committed to providing critical infrastructure for the State.

Did the pro-Sim lawmakers representing their various constituencies receive a fair hearing from the expired Amaewhule led house before they were labeled suspended?
Can former House members continue to contend that they have suspended legitimate House members ? Do they still retain any locus to make their contention of over a heavily faulted and invalid suspension process?

The constitution says that the speaker has to declare seats vacant but Ameahule did not declared any seat vacant at the time of defection and more over a court affidavit is not the procedure of party defection.

There's no need to go to the Supreme court. The Appeal Court never ruled that those defected members are reinstated as Assembly members. The substantive case is before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Former Chairman, Nwanosike needs to go and rest somewhere, he threatened to fight the Governor not too long ago and should've been picked up but Governor Fubara decided to ignore him.

There's a substantive matter before the Federal High Court in Abuja regarding the defection of the lawmakers to APC. The Appeal Court's basically means they have to maintain status quo until that case at the Federal High Court is adjudicated.
That's why Governor Fubara is not bothered. As for the people running to the Supreme Court, they're wasting precious funds. Politicians are not that smart, a bunch of politicians ran to the State High Court without thinking about the issue of jurisdiction.

If they don't like the outcome of the case before the Federal High Court regarding the legal status of the defected lawmakers then they can appeal the decision. There's nothing to appeal for now. The State High Court lacked jurisdiction to hear the matter, it's the same thing the Supreme Court will tell them. 😂
