I absolutely love the little detail at 0:23 that when Bugs appears, it plays the classic WB opening sound from Looney Tunes. There’s so much care put into every part of this game, and I can’t wait to play it

Largely depends on the success & team/dev support around the game - the alpha alone is getting rave reviews - mostly postive; many "influencers" enjoying it. That is great news this early on! Sure, it is very similar to Smash Bros ... BUT Multiversus deserves its shine as there's more than enough room in the fighting genre for both to have extreme success!

This makes me hopeful for a story mode with cinematic cutscenes. Something like subspace emissary from Brawl. I love character interactions like this, especially with voice acting

The best part about crossovers is seeing characters that would never interact under normal circumstances interact with each other. I'd definitely like to see a story mode for this game with cutscenes like this. The voice acting is great too!.

Superman and iron giant just brought a tear in my eye. This trailer made my day thank you and please keep the character interactions going because that brings everything all together with a mix mash of characters that don't belong with eachother. Trailer was well done and the art style of this game is really good. Make everything look like it belongs together.
Honestly haven't been this excited for a fighting game in a long time. It feels like the devs actually want to put their time and care into it, and hopefully connect with the community about ideas and improvements once it releases
i love how everyone is forming pairs with eachother, and then there's just tom & jerry on their own, fighting eachother instead of worrying about what's going on at all never change you goofy lil dudes
That's not fair! I can't see it like that all over from the beginning in cartoon cause other characters make serious attitudes. But this has to stop or it'll get more worse like that was bothering, but Jerry can't win some more by himself that's to much with too much prank laugh and I don't want Tom to lose, especially with all every character from the old cartoons hurting him and chasing they always make me very mad. They were suppose to support and work together without hesitating like being popular roommates.

Makes me wonder if this game really is going to have Smash Bros style reveal trailers for every new characters post launch (it’s heavily implied that there are going to be lots of characters who are going to be added after the game launches.) Everything great about this trailer: 0:01 The design of the Batcave looks incredible. It's the perfect blend of natural caves and Batman technical add-ins. Can't wait to play on that stage. 0:10 Themyscira looks beautiful as well, and the huge ACME crate in the background is a funny (and interesting) little detail as well. 0:17 Shaggy immediately jumping into Batman's arms is totally in character for him, but it also implies that he knows and trusts Batman, possibly a reference to the various crossovers the Scooby Gang had with the Bat family. 0:23 Bugs doesn't look the slightest bit fazed at what's happening. Love it. 0:30 Batman believes Bugs is pulling out a weapon and doesn’t even hesitate to attack first. 100% in-character for him. 0:38 The pie probably wouldn't hurt Bats all that much, but Shaggy's not passing up the chance for a sandwich/cream pie combo. 0:44 The prophecy has been realized. Also just wanted to acknowledge how smoothly they portrayed the game’s focus on 2v2 gameplay into the trailer’s narrative. 1:00 There’s just something so funny about Batman tagging a ride on the giant cartoon rocket with his grappling hook. 1:03 Great way of introducing Taz to the roster, who was someone I did not expect to get in, not at least before Daffy or Marvin or some more recognizable Looney Tune character. Love the pick though. 1:05 Garnet is awesome. That’s it. 1:09 Love how sincere Jake sounds and looks. 1:22 Of course Harley falls in love with the most feral-looking thing in the area. 1:30 Tom and Jerry are just in their own world, I don’t even think they are aware of what’s happening, and it’s great. 1:40 Garnet is still awesome. 1:58 This shot just shows how well Multiversus knows its characters. Shaggy’s panicking, Arya’s trying to get a good hit on him, Batman’s attempting to hold her back, and Bug is just having a good time. 2:09 The perfect reveal for the Iron Giant. Seeing him finally get to meet his hero just warms the heart. 2:21 This shot is just… “chef’s kiss”. Seeing the entire roster together just hypes me up even more. (But also, is THAT how big the Iron Giant is going to be in the game? I mean, he’s clearly WAY smaller than he was in the original movie, but still! If he is that big that’s going to be chaos.)
Well you perfectly into words how well this trailer understands its characters, which is the aspect of this game I'm looking forward to the most! A lot of them just make perfect sense as well : Shaggy and Batman, Harley and Taz, Superman and the Iron Giant, etc...
Good analysis, one little thing however is that the map at 0:10 is not Themyscira, it’s a map with references to many different places called Trophy’s E.D.G.E. I can see why people would think it looks like Themyscira though.
I definitely can arrange this trailer about summoning an ACME rocket launch 0:56 in this game it feels more like a roller coaster but quite totally thrilling. I made a good reference is still much of a coincidence to the contrary. Come on Bugs, Tom and Jerry! Let's Ride! :D :3:)
This looks absolutely amazing and the team in Multiverses did a great job getting the voice acting of our favorite characters to life, and I can tell the Roster is going be huge and what a great Cinematic Masterpiece.
The more I watch this, the more I wanna play this. Doubles has always my biggest interests in Smash and I cannot wait to play as Tom & Jerry, and even try out Shaggy! I hope for more trailers or cutscenes like these that just shows all characters interactions with eachother
How long with many more trailers and cutscenes will come, with new characters from other different movies and tv shows updating? When I make a team to fight off any over a bad guy or a villain is all the help you need. Upgrades has the most genetic Skills blasting into Speed of fist, and I can hardly wait to play as Tom & Jerry and especially him Bug Bunny! Good Luck ;)

I don't like that the Universe of the Warner Media franchises is like a kind of Computer Simulation of the studio in Space Jam 2. I prefer a universe of franchishes being created in the fantastic and magical style even like evidenced from Super Smash Bros games.

I'm really hoping for a story mode like this. It's giving me Super Smash Bros Brawl: Subspace Emissary vibes, with the different crossovers of characters meeting and teaming up, sometimes fighting other heroes because they don't know who they are. Loved this trailer!

I think any character that was an easter egg on Space Jam 2 can pretty much be added here, seeing Iron Giant makes my hopes up higher, also Velma and Taz joining but not Scoob or Daffy yet makes it more interresting to see who's next, the story mode better have this animation if they gonna add it.
The game is free, which may limit the amount of content in the game. That is why I don’t think there will be a story mode. I could be wrong, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Hats off to Tony for wrangling in Jim Cummings to voice Taz again! Just a shame Billy West or even Jeff Bergman weren't picked to voice Bugs. I don't mind Eric Bauza, but the previous ones killed it in the role. Plus, Billy was so underrated in his performance. Also, the Iron Giant was a creative choice as well. I just wish they wrangled in Vin Diesel to voice the character again.
I think they tried their dam hardest but Diesel’s ego wouldn’t let him or he asked for a stupid amount of money. I mean, they afford a bunch of veteran voice actors so it’s not that much of a far stretch.
I absolutely can agree if you'll reach up to 100% of making the smartest best brilliant characterization voice actor, I don't mind of sharing a compliment with Eric Bauza the voice of his main trio Bugs Bunny + Tom and Jerry. Everything could be inspired to the old voice talents chances like Mel Blanc, William Hanna, Jeff Bergman, Billy West, Spike Brandt and many more haven’t been achieved any award winning billionaires, officially just long before the disconnections is in one good entryway but no questions to be explained yet, in meantime you have what it takes to get a your favourite actor a chance especially other characters.
Really hoping we see some more classic Hanna-Barbera representation in this game; having Scooby Doo characters and Tom & Jerry is a start but characters like Space Ghost, Birdman, Fred Flintstone, and Dick Dastardly would fit right in a game like this. And if they want to go the Adult Swim route, just have George Lowe record some funny dialogue for Space Ghost and put Birdman in a suit and give him some lawyer-themed attacks.

My other picks would be the Swat Kats, Hard Rock, The Impossibles, Pirates of Dark Water, (If they can get Toho to agree) HB Godzilla and Godzuky, (If they can get Marvel to allow them) the version of The Thing that transforms using the "Thing Ring" as a guest character.

Played a few matches during closed Alpha. The game runs great and looks great. I'm not a fan of platform fighters but if I was, I'd play this over other platform fighters. Great job Devs!

Makes me wonder if this game really is going to have Smash Bros style reveal trailers for every new characters post launch (it’s heavily implied that there are going to be lots of characters who are going to be added after the game launches.) Maybe a few characters are revealed at once in one trailer to save money.

0:01 The design of the Batcave looks incredible. It's the perfect blend of natural caves and Batman technical add-ins. Can't wait to play on that stage.
0:10 Themyscira looks beautiful as well, and the huge ACME crate in the background is a funny (and interesting) little detail as well.
0:17 Shaggy immediately jumping into Batman's arms is totally in character for him, but it also implies that he knows and trusts Batman, possibly a reference to the various crossovers the Scooby Gang had with the Bat family.
0:23 Bugs doesn't look the slightest bit fazed at what's happening. Love it.
0:30 Batman believes Bugs is pulling out a weapon and doesn’t even hesitate to attack first. 100% in-character for him.
0:38 The pie probably wouldn't hurt Bats all that much, but Shaggy's not passing up the chance for a sandwich/cream pie combo.

Also just wanted to acknowledge how smoothly they portrayed the game’s focus on 2v2 gameplay into the trailer’s narrative.

1:58 This shot just shows how well Multiversus knows its characters. Shaggy’s panicking, Arya’s trying to get a good hit on him, Batman’s attempting to hold her back, and Bug is just having a good time.
2:09 The perfect reveal for the Iron Giant. Seeing him finally get to meet his hero just warms the heart.
2:21 This shot is just… “chef’s kiss”. Seeing the entire roster together just hypes me up even more. (But also, is THAT how big the Iron Giant is going to be in the game? I mean, he’s clearly WAY smaller than he was in the original movie, but still! If he is that big that’s going to be chaos.)
Well you perfectly into words how well this trailer understands its characters, which is the aspect of this game I'm looking forward to the most! A lot of them just make perfect sense as well : Shaggy and Batman, Harley and Taz, Superman and the Iron Giant, etc...
Good analysis, one little thing however is that the map at 0:10 is not Themyscira, it’s a map with references to many different places called Trophy’s E.D.G.E. I can see why people would think it looks like Themyscira though.

Holy crap! I didn't expect to see the Iron Giant, but that was a pleasant surprise! That looked amazing.
This looks absolutely amazing and the team in Multiverses did a great job getting the voice acting of our favorite characters to life, and I can tell the Roster is going be huge and what a great Cinematic Masterpiece.
The more I watch this, the more I wanna play this.
Doubles has always my biggest interests in Smash and I cannot wait to play as Tom & Jerry, and even try out Shaggy!

When I make a team to fight off any over a bad guy or a villain is all the help you need. Upgrades has the most genetic Skills blasting into Speed of fist, and I can hardly wait to play as Tom & Jerry and especially him Bug Bunny! Good Luck ;)

I'm really hoping for a story mode like this. It's giving me Super Smash Bros Brawl: Subspace Emissary vibes, with the different crossovers of characters meeting and teaming up, sometimes fighting other heroes because they don't know who they are.

The game is free, which may limit the amount of content in the game. That is why I don’t think there will be a story mode. I could be wrong, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

Hats off to Tony for wrangling in Jim Cummings to voice Taz again! Just a shame Billy West or even Jeff Bergman weren't picked to voice Bugs. I don't mind Eric Bauza, but the previous ones killed it in the role. Plus, Billy was so underrated in his performance.
Also, the Iron Giant was a creative choice as well. I just wish they wrangled in Vin Diesel to voice the character again.
I think they tried their dam hardest but Diesel’s ego wouldn’t let him or he asked for a stupid amount of money. I mean, they afford a bunch of veteran voice actors so it’s not that much of a far stretch.
I absolutely can agree if you'll reach up to 100% of making the smartest best brilliant characterization voice actor, I don't mind of sharing a compliment with Eric Bauza the voice of his main trio Bugs Bunny + Tom and Jerry. Everything could be inspired to the old voice talents chances like Mel Blanc, William Hanna, Jeff Bergman, Billy West, Spike Brandt and many more haven’t been achieved any award winning billionaires, officially just long before the disconnections is in one good entryway but no questions to be explained yet, in meantime you have what it takes to get a your favourite actor a chance especially other characters.

Really hoping we see some more classic Hanna-Barbera representation in this game; having Scooby Doo characters and Tom & Jerry is a start but characters like Space Ghost, Birdman, Fred Flintstone, and Dick Dastardly would fit right in a game like this.
And if they want to go the Adult Swim route, just have George Lowe record some funny dialogue for Space Ghost and put Birdman in a suit and give him some lawyer-themed attacks.
There are going to be plenty of post launch characters, so I’m almost certain that we will get more. I’m betting Fred Flintstone.

I played the osed alphas and the game is already very good with minimal bugs, and very little lag. Felt very snappy unlike Smash or Nick
