      Cheers Dave appreciated mate. Aye the gloves are pretty good. I like my heated grips as well 👍

    A quick question: What's the coldest weather would you be able to wear the Sand 4 H2Os in? Of course everyone has different tolerances, but what do you personally estimate?
    (I'm Considering these or the Rev'It Sirius 2 for cooler weather, but think the thinner Sand H2O will be better for "feel" if they are sufficient for my temps.)
    Thanks for the excellent review!

      That's a tough one. Scotland tends to be cold at the best of times. These gloves will be a problem in frozen or near freezing temps. I intend to wear them with heated grips over the winter because I prefer the comfort of lighter gloves. Having said that the temp here at the moment tends to float between 5-10 Celsius and I wear the gloves without the heated grips. They do get cold after a time but for me not unbearable.

    Good day mate. Hope your doing OK and thanks for doing your channel, it helps a lot. I just wanted to ask you about your hand guards. I bought acerbis x strong but they do not fit. The hand guards hitting the dash board, so what hand guards are you using, I have a Himalayan BS6 April21. Not the one with the Tripper Navigation. Please let me know
    Thanks Thomas

      Hi Thomas I use JFR racing handguards they are budget but very tough as they have an alu rod inside. iv dropped the bike multiple times without issue so far. But to make them fit I angled the windscreen forward to the higher position and I fitted metal u shaped brackets that I found on ebay also very tough. The u brackets are useful because you have wires cables etc on the handlebars. I will post links here. if you shop around on ebay or other sites I'm 100% sure you will find the u brackets cheaper. If you are willing to wait you will get the brackets from ali express in china for example.

    Greetings mate,
    thanks for the great video, i have a question if you dont mind, i am on the market for this revit set the sand 4 H2O,
    i noticed you are wearing the jacket and pants, what do you think of them and do you recommaned them?

    • @WeeJaunt

      Hello mate thanks for watching. Thd trousers are cheap Hwk. The Jacket is the Sand 4 and Iv done about 8000 miles in it this year in all weather's apart from Snow. In my opinion it's great quality. Great ventilation, warm when you need it to be and the Hydratex lining works very well. The only downside is the outer jacket will get water logged in heavy rain but tbh that fairly common on most 3- 4 seasons. I have a cheap Navy Gortex that I can throw over the top of the lot if I have 2 👍

    Do you lose tactile feel on the H2O gloves? Are they too bulky?

    • @WeeJaunt
      @WeeJaunt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't find them too heavy at all. For waterproof gloves they are just about right. They are very good in the rain. I'm still using them in winter but am pairing them with heated grips

      @@WeeJaunt Thanks. Would you say that they are mostly windproof since they are waterproof? I want to combine them with handguards and see if I can use them in 45-50 degree weather. I can't stand using bulky winter gloves so i am looking for waterproof gloves that hopefully block out wind too.
