Can we PLEASE stop with the engagement and baby rumors? I would hate for Travis to be egged on by it and actually propose and Taylor say yes before she's truly ready. She has a different kind of life so let's not try to put her in a traditional box thinking that would be romantic. It wouldn't be. We've seen these guys come and go many many times. It's great, she's in love, and then they prove disappointing (as most men eventually do), and she moves on. Let's give her PLENTY of time to be sure here. Once you marry and have a kid, you can't undo that. It's permanent. It changes EVERYTHING in your life. We want her career to end?? We want to see her at home doing laundry and packing lunches? It's not all it's cracked up to be, we all know that. Let's NOT rush her here. And let's NOT put the idea in his head too soon. She needs time. Let them just be without any pressure or speculation from us. Sure, marriage would work out great for him, but it won't be heaven for HER. Remember that. Real life is not a fairy tale no matter how much we want it to be. We all know what a romantic she is, but we also know that reality hits her HARD so back off and let her take her time and be sure she's in reality and not the fantasy. She's the one with the most to lose here.
He has a MAJOR life shift not too far ahead when his football career is over. That will change his dynamic and self-view a lot. He'll be hosting Am I Smarter Than a Fifth Grader or something and not winning SuperBowl trophies while she'll be working on her next Billion dollars and travelling the world while he's not with her as he'll have a contract with a studio or something. That will change things. With men, it ALWAYS does. Right now, he's a famous baller who won a SuperBowl so he feels 'equal' enough, but soon...it will be different for him. Let's WAIT and see what happens then and if that transition goes ok, THEN it may be a wise time to give marriage a try, but this man has a huge ego, so she really needs to wait to see how that shakes out before she straps herself in for LIFE with this man. Too big a change is just around the corner for him and she needs to see how he handles that first.
