One thing you forgot to mention is that regular rocks on mystery islands have a lower spawn rate for stone, making them the best way to get more iron and clay. This is especially useful because of the 30 iron nuggets that are required to make the Nook's Cranny shop.
They could add an island where you can find special characters exploring from past games on it. It could be a completely separate percentage on when you get one or not. I don’t think you could encounter them when villager hunting tho. Just an idea.
That would be awesome! It could give the developers a chance to bring characters like torturer and rover back (yes, I am aware you can find rover on May Day island, but that’s only once a year and you have to do a maze.)
I'm so sick of Bamboo Island 😣 Like, getting it once is great since it gives you more than you need of something non-native, but there aren't that many great bamboo DIY recipes to begin with (that aren't rustic bamboo/deserted island themed) so I rarely even use my bamboo. I have like, three bamboo trees as of now - but darn it I don't even need them because I land on Bamboo Island so often that it overfills my storage. Pretty satisfying getting to chop all of the trees down though, ngl, but I wish there could be more cool bamboo DIYs that aren't just... raw and rustic. Like, the sprout lamp is 10/10.

There should be an island that has all the different types of fruit you can get, the island would be extremely rare to find but you can get all the different types of fruit. It would be good for those players that don’t have do online play with other players
My favorite mystery island is the sister fruit island- my reasoning is OMG SO MANY ORANGES I counted how many bells I got from selling them... 57,000 wow and I know you get more from the money rocks but it’s satisfying to collect all the oranges

Still hoping that back to back Island hopping can be an option depending on if you still have more nook mile tickets to use. As well as that delivery and selling service being used for not just Harv's Island. These would make the mystery island travel more efficient.
if your out of Nook Miles Treasure islands are a good option, You can do your own research but I know I use Treasure islands for Customization kits since now way in hell am I paying what Timmy and Tommy sell it for 😂
New to the game and had a question about using the nook miles ticket to go to other islands. I keep getting mainly an island with my native fruit (cherry)a couple times I’ve gotten an island with pears. But the islands are pretty much the same with few variations. I heard bamboo island is the most typical and I have not seen that one yet. I thought maybe because I didn’t have an online membership. I got one today. And I ended up on another common island with my native fruit. Am I doing something wrong????Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was annoyed that they got rid of hybrid island by the time I bought the game in August. But thanks to some TH-cam tutorials, I've managed to make every hybrid on my own except the infamous blue roses. I REALLY hope they add islands that have the other fruits on them. I hate the fact you can only get them through multi-player when I have no plans to buy into a Switch Online account.

I have a question about these islands. I have found two different hardwood islands, not like the ones in the datamine. They both look like the all flat hardwood island, I found one with all cedar trees and I found another with all hardwood trees. No cliffs. I haven't seen any mention of this anywhere, and I realize that the type of tree and location isn't randomized on any of these islands...Has anyone else seen this?
