I dont see price being the main issue as you get what you pay for... whats the difference between 30 HT figures or 10 Kojun works or Inart considering price?? People that harp on pricepoint want everything that gets announced and collect quanity over quality. The real issue is the design choices... as I will not pay Kojun works price point for a static unposeable Batman or just a Bruce Wayne in a suit. As nice as this new reveal is, I will not pay their price point for a plain clothes Catwoman. Focus on executing the main character design. Anything else is just extra.
The problem with JND doing 1/6 action figures is - ASTRONOMICALLY expensive prices WILL be presented here. Get ready for a big line of figures the average 1/6 collector can’t afford to pass by. Fortunately not every company has lost their minds like JND or InArt
Yeah and all of them will be sold out. As much as it sucks that I can't afford these ridiculously premium collectibles, I'm not in a position to say they should make them affordable for me, as so much goes into the production and quality in comparison to the average figure. Hopefully in the future I'll manage to get better employed and can take part in owning some of my favorites...
So where is the problem for JND? 🤔 If you can't afford to buy these figures or feel that the price isn't a good value, then don't. There's plenty of other options, even in 1/6 scale for collectors to choose from. Fortunately your viewpoint isn't representative of the average JND studios customer
