Malaysia is food heaven…if you like noodle, you can try Chinese style Pan Mee…you can try at Go Noodle restaurant, they have dry or soup version, spicy or non spicy…available in most shopping malls and you can enjoy in air conditioned restaurant…👍

Through this video I feel the enthusiasm of living in Malaysia especially Koreans and Japaneses. I have many friends ,simply ex colleagues and when they work and stay here, they never want to go back to their country because of the slow pace and less tension of lifestyle and many good and cheap foods here…

@@kazinkl you should prepare a mini portable fan, it's very useful especially in Malaysia's hot weather. I always bring mine everytime I'm eating at a place with no aircond 😆 I can't stand the hot weather while eating spicy food, I would be drenched in sweat 😂😂

The chilli is cooked with chilli boh, small onions pounded, a bit garlic if you want, belacan ie shrimp paste. Put oil in wok when it is hot & then add in all the ingredients to cook until fragrant. Mind the fire do not burn until the sambal chilli become black.

It is common for chilli boh to be the basic ingredients, then the cook will add in tomato paste and/or sometimes soy sauce or some other ingredients to their liking or based on the recipe they're using.. So yeah.. It is possible there's tomato inside it..

Kaz, we have another dish actually where we mix this prawn mee soup with another thick dark soy braised soup. We call it loh cham ting in Hokkien dialect back in Penang. In KL, they refer it as yin yong ( Cantonese) its quite hard to get in KL as its origins from Penang. However, there's a stall in Taman Segar Perdana, Cheras (Breakfast Coffee Shop). You can chexk it out

Great to see you're enjoying the prawn noodles. It's ok to finish the soup/gravy especially when itis delicious. In Malay language we call it "kuah". But it is impolite to lift up the bowl and drink the soup directly. Instead, use the spoon until the end.🙏🙂
Whenever you come to Penang. Don't get confused. In many states, it's called prawn mee. In Penang, it's called Hokkien Mee. Prawn Mee is a totally different dish. While hokkien mee in KL is Penang's Hokkien Char. lol. Edit : a Carpenters fan huh ? :P

Usually we will yellow noodle mix mee hoon for noodle soup.. Will be taste nicer compare to yellow noodle mix kuey teow.. Kuey teow will only for fried kuey teow or kuey teow clear soup...
If u come to Jitra Kedah or alor star I can’t remember since my geo sucks but the food around here is pretty cheap and delicious and not that pricy even compared to the food stalls
if you think the soup taste less you add the chili to the soup and mix it, the flavor will become thick. the soup basically is the boil prawn shell maybe they add msg not sure.
maybe you can get portable neck fan to cool you off. yeah normally i will drink all the soup and always leave my plate or bowl clean with minimal unpalatable thingy..like shrimp shell..but sometimes i will eat those shell..well, its depends on the condition. if the shell or even bone is crunchy, i will ate em too. lets not waste any food.
Just behind this place. There's a very famous roasted pork (siu yoke) stall that serves one of the best roasted pork rice in Malaysia. It's at the row of shops right next to the temple. It's only opened for lunch. On the same row with the roasted pork stall, there's another shop at the corner that has quite nice curry noodles. Just tell them to give you mihun and mee.

Usually we will yellow noodle mix mee hoon for noodle soup.. Will be taste nicer compare to yellow noodle mix kuey teow.. Kuey teow will only for fried kuey teow or kuey teow clear soup...

if you think the soup taste less you add the chili to the soup and mix it, the flavor will become thick. the soup basically is the boil prawn shell maybe they add msg not sure.
maybe you can get portable neck fan to cool you off. yeah normally i will drink all the soup and always leave my plate or bowl clean with minimal unpalatable thingy..like shrimp shell..but sometimes i will eat those shell..well, its depends on the condition. if the shell or even bone is crunchy, i will ate em too. lets not waste any food.
Just behind this place. There's a very famous roasted pork (siu yoke) stall that serves one of the best roasted pork rice in Malaysia. It's at the row of shops right next to the temple. It's only opened for lunch.
On the same row with the roasted pork stall, there's another shop at the corner that has quite nice curry noodles. Just tell them to give you mihun and mee.
