I just want to express a warning to anyone considering this tent if you live in an area where it rains often. It is not watertight, so moisture gets into the tent when it’s closed and it molds severely inside. I worked with Ironman 4x4 in person in Oregon to have this looked at and was advised that this is normal for their Swift tent and that you have to air it out regularly after it rains to prevent the mold. In the Pacific Northwest winter, this is just simply impossible. So I purchased this Swift tent 6 months ago and it is now soaking wet inside and super moldy. Itonman will not replace it. I have no choice but to dispose of it and find a better manufacturer. It’s a disappointment as I wanted to support this company, but this tent is just not designed well and Ironman doesn’t stand by their warranty. Heads up.

To be fair, any tent from any manufacturer would do this if not aired out properly. I have friends with Roofnest, CVT, etc. that all had this happen to them because they didn’t dry out the tents after camping in a wet area. That’s just one of the things you need to be aware of when owning these tents. They’re high maintenance.

We love our tent but there is a pretty shocking lack of instructions when you receive it. The instruction booklet only has 8 pages and they don't really mention how to actually position things at all.
You have to remove the bottom portion of the latch in order to install the ladder mounting brackets on the sides, if it wasn't for the video it doesn't mention how to insert the poles for the awning at all.
The tent also came with a big bag of assorted hardware that isn't really utilized (i would assume they are spares but there is no mention of that in the booklet).
It also came with a bundled up rubber seal that we have no idea where to install. It's actually not even mentioned under the "parts check list" on page 3. Would love to know if this is a necessary part to install or just another random extra.
It also only comes with 4 mounting plates, which do not seem like much when you compare how many other tents come with. Especially considering the weight of this tent. You also can't buy more on the website. You can only buy them for the nomad tents. Just a heads up (as of 2024 anyways). I had to buy a similar looking bracket from the store to add additional supports of my own.
And finally, even after trying to install rubberized foam in between the mounting plates, this tent still has a strange rattle sound to it that I can only imagine is the tent itself bouncing against itself. I tried adjusting the latches to hold it together tighter but no luck.
We are happy with the tent, but I'm not sure we would return to an ironman product again after our experience. At least not at the full asking prices. Wait for sales.

As long as you have cross bars with the propper load limit rating then you should be good.

It also wouldn't have been hard to just say:
      215lbs (98kg)
It is heavy asf. I'm assuming that's why it wasn't shared here, come on guys. 🙄
