      Mostly I was surprised by the wood properties that allowed for it to not break.

    The bow lives! Nice job saving it. I love your philosophy on bowmaking that you talked about when using the card scraper. Bows are art and each is unique. Doing it with straight laminations, by numbers, and with calipers, etc. loses some of the essence of bowmaking.

      Agreed! Laminated bows are great and beautiful art but there is no replacement for natural wood and a string. Thank you

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 First find your Yew Stave. Virtually impossible in England. Not allowed to touch the trees. Or we can buy a stave from America. Works out about 300 English pounds.

      Very expensive for sure. That is why it was so tragic when I burned it though happy it still worked.
