You know as the years goes by I use to watch Justin Gatlin and couldn’t stand him, too bash, to extra, too much.. but the more I hear him talk I realize he is indeed a humble soul , I know I speak for a lot of Jamaicans when I say we grown to accept you. Bless up
You say that because he kiss up to his co host, and don't really speak his mind. He need to stop faking and voice his real opinion. I bet you wouldn't like him then. LMAO 😂
@@princeroyal9703 ok hater
@simonemathew4422 same here. After watching him on Asafa's podcast, I changed my perspective of him
I've been thinking to post a similar message. Watching these podcasts, listening to his insights, seeing him with other athletes such as Asafa, my perceptions of Gatlin have changed.
I'm humbled.
I'm a fan.
Love. Peace. Growth.

Agreed
Jamaican here. Thanks guys. You got my support. Justin I missed your rivery. I think your Era with Asafa, Usain, Tyson Gay Mike Roger Walter Dix and Spearman was the best years of Track and Field!!❤
Its Walter Dix...
Agreed! Greatest era EVER!!!
@@devertonpasley4942 Thanks for the correction!👍🤣🤣🤣
Yeah those were great times watching those rivalries... always great to see Jamaica with top class sprinters
@@rickeyrincones1769I missed them so so much, but we only can do so much nothing last, Everything must come to an end
Can we all just take a moment and appreciate Justin and all that he has been through 🎉🎉🎉🎉
😮 really now 😮
Blake can not run last because Noah will run the anchor, and if the race is close, Noah will run him down. Last leg has to be someone who can directly beat Noah.
1st leg: Ackeem vs Coleman
2nd leg: Seville vs Kerley
3rd leg: Levell vs Bednarek
4th leg: Kishane vs Lyles
@@yennox5338I’ll take that. Everything covered.
@yennox5338 3rd fastest Jamaican is ackeem Blake. If he runs faster at the Olympics he's on the team
Junelle Broomfield actually ran a PR in the semifinals 50.74 faster than her time in the final which qualifies her for the Olympics automatically.
But was it "wind aided"? U know they don't give the runners credit if the wind was blowing too hard. Crazy! 😢

I came here to say this, thanks for letting them know
But what about the person who got 3rd ? She get bumped out
Thank you guys Jamaican in the house 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
the comparison of Asafa and Kishane is because of the similarities with their start in Jamaican Tracks... both Asafa and Kishane were not household names in Boys & Girls Champs, but Franno and MVP made them both into a great athlete
In fact that's true of must of the athletes coming through the mvp tracks club , Elaine, Shelly, Sherica etc .
@@Soratheepicwubbozz actually, Shericka was a standout athlete at St.Jago, and was a household name at Champs during her time at highschool.
ps; look up her rundown of an American highschool athlete, at Gibson Relays in 2012.
@@mrwong8584 Canadian Flying Angels team. One of my favourite races.
@@psykloneja ah yes! you're right! I stand corrected,... I believe I may have gotten her High School wrong as well, she attended Vere Technical Highschool, and not St.Jago..
@mrwong8584 it's Vere tech.
Ok Gatlin I'm gonna resurrect the dead elephant in the building for a second ... I am a Jamaican former athlete (did the hurdles at the legendary high school.. Calabar) and let me state for the record that I have never seen another athlete with the poise grace, form, acceleration and race execution, that you had. And please remember that I am Jamaican have had over five decades of observing first hand some of the best world beating sprinters that Jamaica has ever produced.
When you were caught up in the doping situation, it literally broke my heart, as well as the hearts of your many Jamaican fans that I am sure that by now now you know that you have here.
A man with your talent never needed no drugs man !! not even an aspirin or even a stick of weed!!
Please remember you are the man that beat our superstar Bolt in probably the most important race of his career... Yet we still show you genuine love.
That said it, was great to see you come back face head on all the BS from the press and everybody else who wanted to take a swipe at you , held your head down did the work and run some of the most gritty and amazing races against our top guys.
They can say what they wanna say about Jamaicans .. but when you beat us fair and square you win our respect and gain your props.
So now here you are on a new track, in a new arena, building it block by block again, giving us some real inciteful analysis....keep it going guys you and you co-host make a great team....I just subscribed today after watching a few episodes and am here for the long run !!
By the way feeling the cap !
Ready set go !!!
Thank you for writing this.
Yes indeed, us Jamaicans love you Gatlin
@semajniva4921 You think Bolt's last 100m was his most important race?? Bolt wanted to retire the year before and was convinced by his sponsors to come back for one more Championship (Money talks). His passion was already gone so that race could not have been the most important to him.
I agree Coaches should be recognized officially
Good podcast enjoy ur guys stuff you all put out ,make sense to me.

"It looks like Jamaican sprinting will be ok in the future."
Which we Jamaicans have been saying by spamming your comment section for the past few weeks. We were never "done", we were never "washed up", we simply replace our former elite sprinters with more elite sprinters. That's what a SPRINT FACTORY does. 🙂😉🥇🥈🥉
jAMAICANS YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GOOD THE PROBLEM IS YOUR SPRINTERS ARE MORE HUMBLE THAN THERE COUNTRY MEN

Congratulations guys, well deserved milestone🎉. Your Jamaican fans are behind you 💯 %
The 100m men and women's races will be the most highly anticipated and contested events during the T&F competition in Paris, and that is because there is NO clear favorite. Times do not say much except that someone has the potential to run that time. If Kishane running 9. 77 suggests that Noah is in big trouble to win the 100m (never saw Noah as a clear favorite in the 100m myself before this either), then Sha' Carri running the fastest TIMES this year in the 100m should say to Jamaicans that the Jamaican ladies are in SERIOUS trouble come Paris, especially since Sha' Carri won against them the last time they met in a competition of this magnitude. I think as long as all the usual suspects get into the final in both races, just about any of the finalists have even to better chance of winning it all.
Except for the men's 200. Noah is the clear favorite.
@@danscorner1443 yes he is the clear favorite but he is going to try so hard to defeat Kishaine and Oblique in the 100 it might mess him up for the 200. I hope not though

BROMFIELD RAN 50.74PB IN THE SEMIS. SHE MADE THE QUALIFYING TIME
Justin after seeing you asafa I must say you are a real dude bless
Jamaica's new secret weapon: TIA CLAYTON, who ran back to back 10.8s in the semis and finals in our trials. She's in the same position as Shelly-Ann was in 2008 when she wasn't even predicted to make the team, ended up shocking Jamaica, then shocking the world in Beijing. Watch out for TIA CLAYTON.
Sounds like Frano has Tia for the gold over Shericka
@daowonimdee One of the 7 Secrete weapon’s frano working on soon ready to dominate for the coming years..
it’s going to be dog fight between these young ladies on the track when they roll out..
Tia sister Tina Clayton take losing very personal she remain very determined..
Here is another one Serena Cole her start out of the blocks going be crazy she doesn’t talk too much she always runs and with a attitude she is going to be really fast.
And let’s not forget Brianna Lystion who will rule the 100m & 200M in the NCAA next year running 10.7 and sub 22 easily her injuries held her back last year..
@@michellemalla4365 Its a win-win for us no matter who wins.
I agree with you so much.
No one ' beating Sha'Carri with that top end speed except is ShaCarri gets the worst start in the history of starts and even then Shericka will beat her.
The Jamaica relay team will be Ackeem Blake to Oblique Seville to Brian Levell to Kishane Thompson

Sydney deserves more attention. She has been amazing for years. Respect to both the host for highlighting track outside of just the USA. Blessings from 🇯🇲
I'm glad she ai t running the 400..she's a super talent
@icU2-y7w The reason why she don’t get much attention it’s because the 400MH isn’t as popular as the 1 & the 2s.
But if she drop down to the 200M Gabby Thomas will destroy her..
She’s no way near Sharika Jackson league in the 200m..
@tyeguy5373 If a pole volter can be popular, then a 400m hurdler can be a rock star. Sydney is classy, beautiful, and talented.

Truth be told!!!

Been awaiting this video...commented before even watching.
You guys should chat about all the sprinters coming off the African continent. Africa is typically known for distance running but now is generating a new generation of sprinters
This is all about the World topranked sprinters and not particularly the athletes origin.
Until Africa gets the gold they will be on the back burner when talking about sprint
@@KerigH You don't have win gold to be talked about. Frank Fredericks is still the fastest ever in indoor 200 meters. He was a an elite athlete in his time. Also, why do you band all athletes in Africa as one? The South Africans still hold the world record in 400 meters. The kid from Botswana has the world record in 300 meters. Africa is not a country. That being said, how could even put Africa on the back burner when they have sprinters such as Tebogo, Omanyala, Simbine, and many others? That is insulting to the continent.
@@yawos9024 of course they’re talked about but not the subject.. until you are on top in the world and not just in Africa you will not be the subject of conversation worldwide

It's not hard if that's all your island does is short sprints. You cannot compare the USA to Jamaica bc the US doesn't care about track n field at all in the same way. Why else do you think Noah's making all these controversial statements "World Champions of What", the outlandish outfits, brief cases, yuggio cards, etc..he trying to get the American public's attention. Dude's winning titles and all he can get is a guest invite on the Tonight Show. Bolt has a giant statue, Asafa has a giant statue, Mommy Rocket's about to get one. Noah can only dream of that kind of popularity. The US public would rather watch swimming, diving, gymnastics, crew, and equestrian events. Auto racing and golf always outdraw track and field. Jamaica does not even participate in these events...so enough with the "3 million people" argument.
