It actually quite easy, for the 3 Dash 8, I bought them at the same time so they are dead on speed. The 3 Scaletrains I bought them at different times so they need some tweak :D. Thanks for your comment.

@@ntd11182 To be fair, I'm not getting any younger either. Additionally, the president of my model railroad club said he started out in N scale before moving on to HO. I have absolutely nothing against N scale myself, it's just that I'm a tad more familiar with HO scale.
In fact my layout quite complex, there are 5 track staging yard at under level, and 2 automated reverse loops. I can run 2 trains at the same time on 2 route like this video or run 1 train to cross 2 levels.
I have an Athearn Big Boy on my layout. No problem running everywhere, however, in that tunnel, I avoid to run it in reverse. You can check my other video that I have a Big Boy pulling excursion train
What a waste of track with all that tunnel. Why not have external tracks where you can see the train going up and down the rise's and hill's etc. You might as well just cover 1/2 of it up and forget about it and don't waste your money on so much rail and scenery stuff. Other than that its not bad.
You dont know exactly what my track plan is so your criticism is garbage. Everything here has a reason for it is to be interm of technical and logical. If I just want to see trains running, I would just make a naked layout then and invite a bunch of kids come and watch with me.
@@ntd11182 A typical reaction of someone who can't take critiscism. I know we all don't like the same thing but every American model railway has as many tunnels as main track. To me that's just someone who is hiding the rest of the system because you've run out of idea's and thought "gee; I'll cover with plaster and other easy stuff and its done" Everything else that I can see is fine but in my opinion and that's what you put it on you tube for is to get other opinion's but you only like the one's that piss in your pocket, you don't seem to like honest ones.
If you watch some of my video about the early stages of this layout, I had made 3 big changes and you will see why I hide some tracks in the tunnel. For instant, I have 5 track staging yard and a reverse loop down below, they have to be hidden otherwise I would not make any sense of it in term of scenery and logically. The tunnel in above level has to be there because the track go underground the 3 track above it and a double crossing in there too. You just see the top of a iceberg and criticize about the ice too small is shortsighting.

I'm just torn. I am really into HO, I have a lot. N Scale is just so small, although you can fit a LOT into the same space. What I can't stand is/are the couplers between N-scale cars. So awful, non proptypical.
The N scale now have protypical knuckle coupler now, however still a liltle oversize for N scale but it is hardly notice when it in the string of cars. The benefit of N scale you can have a 100 car train within a reasonable space.

A very nice video and layout. I have plans to expand my own HO scale layout, though I don't believe mine will be quite as large (or modern) as this.
Even I am quite happy with my N scale layout but always wish to have a decent space to switch to HO. I am ageing :)

Very cool layout. How big is your train room? Trying to come up with a track plan for one side of my 10’ X 20’ Tuff Shed. Might be a point to point.
My room is 12x 14 ft. It is N scale so it is plenty. If you have 10x 20 ft room with N scale, you can have an empire

In the tunnel ? 14 inch radius. A little compromise for the N scale Athearn Big Boy go in reverse, other than that no problem.
