Thank you for this great explanation of the new features! I teach SketchUp at Pikes Peak State College down in Colorado Springs, and we use so many of your videos in class. Such a great resource!
Ad Location allows rotation to adjust for true north. After that the default axes are oriented along the real world coordinates. If you reset the axes they follow the geolocated orientation. This has messes up my scenes and the hardwired views top, front, left, etc. do not work any more. I can't find a way to return to the original orthographic system. Could you show how to manage lokal coordinates vs rotated geolocated coordinates. And avoid the mess I have created for myself.
I like the upgrade with this tool. But why can't I select even lower mesh density like previous versions? Low is producing a mesh with still too much detail for expanding the context boundaries.
It's hard to tell what's going on without seeing your model. Are you sure the location snapshot has elevation changes? The best place to find a solution to your problem is our forum forums.sketchup.com/
@@SketchUp I have the same issue. I cannot find a solution in the forum. Can i hire for consulting help on this issue and additional needs? There is over 50 of elevation change. Can a gpx file be imported. And get to a krigged/interpolated heat map?
I can't import anything without him asking me to subscribe ! Is there is any way I can work with it and import site without paying ? Even free trailer doesn't work

Excellent as always😊
Whew, I was struggling for weeks with Add Location in Pro 24. Neither of two given options worked well. But I didn't know what I was doing. Thanks!
Thanks Aaron, good information
Thank you Aaron!!! Your tutorials are always clear and easy to understand (even though English is my second language😬)
Perfect video Aaron thank you
Great job.

Cool video. Thanks. Is that updated feature coming up to Sketchchup for ipad?
Is there a way to locate a specific point on the model using latitude/longitude coordinates?
They should really add that snapping sound effect!
Hey Longmont! Respect, ain't nobody but trust funders that can afford to live in Boulder
It's awesome I like it
When I upload the '3D' it's not showing any terrain, just a flat plane.

🤩

Why always at medium ? Go highest density and detail :)
I take it you cannot get the true z value, the elevation?
It’s not working at all
