  • I love finding bargains and getting my money's worth so I can use what I have saved to buy more! (but don't tell my wife!)
One way I found a great way of finding really nice quality sewing patterns, useful information and great fabric suggestions along with saving money was buying books that had sewing patterns included.
I decided to create a list of books I have used or still use to this day (some were even recommended to me) that are both full of helpful advice and knowledge along with amazing sewing patterns in a range of sizes.

Great video thank you! I've added a few of these books to my amazon wishlist now. I brought Tilly and the buttons stretch book last week which is really good. She's really good at explaining for beginners like me :) I just wish her patterns online where a little cheaper but i understand the work that goes into making those patterns. I've tried some of your other tips for finding cheap patterns so thank you for those! Have you used any A0 pattern printing companies before? (i'm UK based)

Oh thats good then! Glad you found these helpful. I haven't tried any of the printing companies but it is definitely something I have thought about. I would love to know which company you use and your experience :-)
