Looking like the sleeping giant that is the Canucks' offense is finally waking up, just in time too!
Arturs Selovs had a rough start on that first goal, but showed poise in bouncing back and making some big saves after that to buy the boys in front some time to make the comeback, and locked it down to protect that lead once gained. He's looking NHL ready at least in the short term. Whether or not he'd be able to keep it up for a full season or step up to take No 1 role in the event Demko should go down again is yet to be seen, but this is very promising for a year or 2 down the road at the very least.
And Connor Garland, living up to his name and decorating the Vegas net with more pucks. Gotta love it!
Well, this is part of the intelligence of giving him these starts. DeSmith might not be back and you need a solid #2 to insulate Demko from a heavy workload.
@@SirLionofBiff Maybe...I'd still feel better giving DeSmith the starts right now. Wins are more important than Silovs' experience. The team IS a contender. They need to try to get as high a seed as possible simply to have home ice as much as possible.
Need to get me a Garland jersey
How about a whole garland of Garland jerseys?
That f..en music is something else.
Can we all just say Arturs in undefeated. From Abbotdford a couple hours to Rogers Arena. Probably the longest ride for him. But he was ready. Hmmm...6ft 3 1/2. Hmmm....a European Ken Dryden. It blows me away that a man of his stature can be on his knees and bounce back up like a gymnist. Man oh man the future looks bright, gotta wear shades
Silovs was able to plug the net eventually.
Yeah, rough start, but he showed promising character in locking it down and giving the boys a chance to mount the comeback.
Ohhhhhhhh yeah, good win, reload refocus, on to the next game, go Vancouver.
First three goals with Petterson infront of the golie.
The secret to beating Vegas is rattling Thompson, which looks easy to do. Just stand at the crease
Brock Boeser and the Vancouver Canucks win over Jonathan Marchessault and the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in their Pacific Division matchup 🏒🔵⚪🟢🇨🇦
Vancouver Canucks improve to 48-22-8, while the Vegas Golden Knights dropped to 42-27-8
So glad they put that "penalty" in the highlight package. Lol. Lmao even.
Great game, always good when Vegas loses!
Love seeing the Las Vegas LTIRs lose. Lose enough of their remaining games and maybe their LTIR Cheese strategy will blow up in their faces and force them to lose a bunch of guys on lack of cap space. Maybe even see them getting jammed up by a load of Benning-like contracts of players who just cost big money cap hits without big money performances. Would serve them right for playing silly games with the Cap and LTIR.
“Prince” Garland with all his hits:
I Will Score On You
Goal
Nothing Compares to 2
When Knights Cry
Garland decorates -- a garland of pucks hangs in the opposition net. Very pretty indeed.
Refs were brutal
Vegas and the refs vs Vancouver. Vancouver won (somehow). God I hate these poster child NHL teams!
Good comeback. The playoffs are a gruelling time. If the Demko situation is settled favourably, they just might make it past the first round.
Canucks to the Cup!
As a sharks fan, seeing Hertl on this team is revolting
Conner garland playing like he got ep40s contract!
Pettersson the new Holmstrom!
Where is Lindholm?
Выменяв Айкела, офис Вегаса, конечно, попал в яблочко. Айкел увеличивает где-то на 25% производительность атаки "рыцарей", и думаю, что без него совсем не факт, что в прошлом сезоне Вегас смог бы взять Кубок.
Damn. I was hoping that BIG Z or Daks to send Hertl back to LTIR, but oh well, an important, hard-fought victory will do.
When's Demko coming back?
anybody else notice that Pylon Myers seems to be standing still a lot of the time in the defensive zone? Vegas was Garlooned tonight!
Vegas was Garlooned tonight!
You mean fryer dryers? I mean tyler myers?
He played alright.
Nah. Y'all people who complain about him are watching the games and looking specifically for his mistakes so of course you notice a lot of them. While I was watching I kept going "dang, who is that who keeps digging the puck out of the corners and clearing it on the PK? Oh, it's 57." I'm gonna start calling this condition of yours "MDS"
@@flights3455 he makes a lot of mistakes, it's not too difficult to notice
Wow what a gutsy win agains't a worthy opponent.
Pretty much all PP goals. Not to worry Vancouver will let you down in the long run.
So, the new top line is MIller, Joshua and Garland? Works for me.
I can’t remember seeing a guy Garland’s size being so good at finding rebounds around the crease when there is so much traffic. I guess this is a new wrinkle when NHL d-men are so big now. A speedy little guy can get into holes faster if he dares.
It’s kind of like playing matador while surrounded by bulls but he is pulling it off.
Theoron Fleury used to have that knack for finding gaps in the slot for a little guy.
The old fart over here has two words for you: "Cliff Ronning."
way to go canucks.
Good to see Petey once again all over the highlights, coming up clutch and making light of that 12 mil contract.
Yes the stupid Zebras didn't rob Vancouver of this win.
when playoffs come, then yes!
@@joelreyes978sigh hopefully that won't be the case.
They sure tried though!
That first call was ROTTEN
Bettman’s zebras tried really hard to rob the Canucks 😡
Vegas suddenly can’t hold a lead to save their lives
Garland is our golden goose
Garland is our ... well garland.
