@@Novorious no worries! Sorry I barely caught it myself, I was super confused as too what the announcers said at the game as I thought it was 200 career assists as well but I though he had over 300pts and I didn’t think he had 100 goals already lol hopefully I didn’t come off as rude in the first comment.

Definitely, and while he looked bad on the first shot, credit to the rookie goalie, Silovs for locking it down after that and not surrendering any more bad ones and even making some big saves to give his boys a chance to mount a comeback.

As a Canuck fan from Day 1, this game made me feel this team has so much to prove but are up to the challenge. They could have gone bye-bye but they sucked it up. Lot of that comes from Coach Rick. He has been there and has two rings. So going forward.......listen to your head coach. He could possibly take you to the promised land in hockey.

Looking like the sleeping giant that is the Canucks' offense is finally waking up, just in time too!
Arturs Selovs had a rough start on that first goal, but showed poise in bouncing back and making some big saves after that to buy the boys in front some time to make the comeback, and locked it down to protect that lead once gained. He's looking NHL ready at least in the short term. Whether or not he'd be able to keep it up for a full season or step up to take No 1 role in the event Demko should go down again is yet to be seen, but this is very promising for a year or 2 down the road at the very least.
