I threw that phone in the depths of my closet thinking that i would never use it again after screwing it up and not being able to wipe it to give to someone. I spent all day searching how to fix this issue with 1,000 complex methods i thought i would screw up. Turns out, i just had to flash one thing that you gave the direct link to that took me maybe an hour at most. Jesus christ dude. Anyway, thanks :D
This might sound like a stupid question but I already have CWM recovery on my phone, can I just download TWRP and flash it straight over the top using the steps in the vid? Thanks.
Please I need your help I made it through all the tutorials , But My IDM wont download the unlocking code ,so i disabled it and use the chrome download , BUt when the download is complete there no way my Winrar would extra the file ,I downloaded 7-Zip , But when I click to download the file, Nothing happens ? Try again. Shut down your phone by holding power. The capacitive buttons will flash. Then press and hold power and volume down simultaneously. Alternatively, if you have USB debugging enabled, you can connect your phone to your computer, and use adb (adb reboot bootloader).
It sounds like you're not holding long enough. Try powering it off and then holding them down. If that doesn't work, try setting up ADB and use the command adb reboot bootloader

Can anyone help? Finally got to the final step where you create an image recovery. I cannot get the phone to boot back into the bootloader anymore. If i hold the volume button down and power button at the same time while the phone is off.. it just boots into safe mode and i get the flashing capacitive buttons. I can't get it to restart by holding the power button down either. It just flashes the capacitive buttons and then gets stuck at the countdown. is creating an image file necessary?

Good video, you just forgot to mention that you need to turn fastboot mode off in order to get power on into fastboot

You cannot have two different recoveries on your device, you will have to choose to have either TWRP or CWM.
I have both TWRP and CWM on my phone, but can only boot into CWM, but want to boot into TWRP. How can i do that?

If you had unlocked bootloader.. download towelroot , after do that try flashify and flash recovery with flashify, good lock.

You will only need the HTCDriver_4.2.0.001.exe file. Just open it and install!
Search Google for openrecovery-twrp-2.6.1.0-m7.img and you will find a working download link.
You can download the SDK from the Android developer website for free.
