Yes, it's very hard. Bruno is the rider here and he trained several months several sessions per week to be able to pump himself on the foil. He was already a very well trained supper before going to supoil.
The mast is on the most front possible position on that board. On other but same type boards the rail is more to the front. The front strap is just there to help not the slide forward while getting on the foil, once on the foil the front foot is placed more backwards.
Probably around 80-100 meter on flat water, with the smallest wave on the sea you can surf and then you can easily surf a few 100 meters without any affort after getting on the foil. Without waves 1 hour sessions are possible, it are all short sprints.
Nice flat water starts! Looks like fun
thx ! yes, it is fun !
I tried this two times. No Chance. Very difficult. Very cool 👍

Hey man, just my 2c, but it looks to me like you would be more comfortable pumping with your mast a little further forward or footstrap further back.

There’s no doubting your incredible balance, perhaps the foil is holding you back (looks like it’s got horrible glide)
it's a very big foil, the glide is ok but a small foil is much faster.
What is the distance you can cover before becoming exhausted?
