I've lived in Oregon for 22 years. But, I lived west of Seattle for 14 1/2 growing up. That's where my sports loyalties are! The Sonics are the only Seattle team that I've been a fan of my whole life!!! My first grade teacher was a fan of Wazzu, so for one year so was I. But, all other years, I've been a Husky fan! I chose the Chiefs when I was young to spite my dad, who was a big Seahawks fan. Then, I was a Jags fan because they had Mark Brunnell, a former Husky. In college, I switched to the Seahawks and have been a fan since. I switched to the Mariners in college. The Sounders and Kraken didn't even come around til after college, but they are my teams! But, the Sonics have always been my favorite basketball team, even before Karl, Kemp, and Peyton. I remember KC Jones, Dana Barros, Eddie Johnson, Ricky Pierce. I hope they come back soon. The I-5 rivalry would be fun again!
