I hate all those cherubs and gold trim and all the antique looking decor ive seen in most mansions on here that I've seen so far. This one BY FAR has the most potential decor wise.. in my humble opinion. 🤷🏾♀️
It is very clean masculine. Bold! I didn’t hate the black and white. The blue was a bit loud but may have been better with furniture in the room. I liked the room sizes and the sunken rooms reminded of older architecture of the late 50’s early 60’s that we hardly see in houses anymore Mid Century Modern at its best. The right furniture and art this home could be a showplace like the original own possibly intended.
Wow such a beautiful unique contemporary home, I would love for me and my family to live there. You can see the differences between the 90s luxury features of this home verses the more modern and futuristic designs and features of present day LA mansions. This was a few years ago, so I wonder what happened to this property , did they sell it, or is it still unoccupied and abandoned?

This home has some really unique spaces and textures. More color on the walls with colored lighting in the right places would make this house spectacular. Baseboards are too small for the ceiling height. Home theater room and hall would be more inviting with rich red walls and softer lighting on floor. 1st bath shower doors are awesome.

Most of the architecture and interior design is excellent The bright blue, crystal chandelier and a few other things need upgraded. Sunken floor areas are a problem

I like the well organized huge master suite closet, and the doors to the en suite shower. Hate the gloomy color scheme. Excellent example of contemporary style and design and color scheme. Needs more opulent touches when renovated.
I looked it up and while it's similar to Josh Howard's house on the exterior, the previous owner was Harrison. It now has a sale pending with an asking price of $799K. Hideous "interior design". Quite the project for the new owners!
Has a lot of potential some stuff I would keep as is but cosmetic it needs a gut and update. Also change the configuration to have a better flow such as mud room/ laundry area.
You said it's a foreclosure they didn't forget to pay the mortgage. Take another tour in the house you'll find them they just got lost. LOL. Beautiful though

I was thinking it would be best to keep my mouth shut about the interior black or charcoal gray or whatever it is and that I missed a Pantone color of the year. Apparently though after glancing through the comments here I am not the only one who is not in love with the color scheme. I do wonder what it would look like with what I am guessing might be three coats of paint to hide the dark.

Too bad they didn't get around to painting the laundry room black. Someone lived here with (for a while, anyway) more money than taste. The most hideous interior I have seen in quite some time.
That place. I see why it was abandoned an or foreclosed upon. No rhyme or reason of flow are ornate detail. All they did was find every farce of society and put it under 1 roof. A painter's dream, because it will take buckets to cover up those colors. Just like plumbers, the longer they are there, the emptier your wallet becomes. Such a waste
I can see why this house was foreclosed on. Anybody was such bad taste does not know how to manage their money. I'm never going to say that I am the greatest decorator in the world but I can tell you they heard the people I hire are the best at what they do. This is such a beautiful house at the same time being so ugly. It just doesn't make any sense on the different rooms. Depending on what the bank is looking for as far as payment. This could be a good house for someone who flips houses. That's not me. When I buy houses I keep them. I really would love to see how this looks after someone with good taste rips everything out and starts over. You see a lot of houses like this in California. You might pay $5 million for a house just to turn around and rip it down and build new. You're basically paying for the land and not the house. This one doesn't need to be torn down it just needs the guts ripped out and put back together by someone who knows what they're doing. I do enjoy your videos. My wife is getting nervous that I'm looking for another house.

I think this home is absolutely stunning and it has a lot of potential, but what's with all of that black color, whose idea was that? I am very partial to glass block and the sunken living room area, but what's with all of that black? I thought I was on a tour of Dracula's castle. Black flooring, Black Walls, Black kitchen and appliances, if I drop something on the floor I would never find it, what's with all of that black? Too dark. The Contemporary look I just can't get ready for. I seriously thought this was a Mel Brooks movie. The only thing attractive about this home is the bathrooms and the pool. What's with all of that black? You could bring some black lights and some weed and lose your mind, looks like one of those places Rick James held his women hostage at. What's with the black?
