hi Tammy When you need to remove the wax out of the burner you just put a few cotton balls in the melted wax and it soaks it right up and then wipe clean and its ready for the next melts that you want to burn.

Yes agree and the cotton balls go great in a campfire. 👍

Hi Stacie (?) thank you for the tip, at this is true, I have done that a time or two, and the campfire idea works great. but honestly I just want to take my cheap super thin butter knife and pop that sucker out of there haha and I don't want to have to "teach" that to my customers...so adding a bit of IGI is really no big deal for me. Thanks for watching and for commenting - hopefully someone will read it and get all kinds of mind blown 🤯💞

Mornin' Tammy! Are you thinking of offering a different-shaped wax melt for each season/holiday? Maybe cinnamon-scented hearts for Valentine's day or flowers for spring?

yes! I am actually! I already was thinking hearts for valentine's day but didn't even consider cinnamon, I may take that and run with it LOL 🤓💖

Thank you so much for the video Tammy. I only saw the first line of the title which ends with a question mark and I had a little scream come out. I was like, don't ask us!! 😳😳 We don't know our elbows from our rear ends... Lol 😂 They are really sweet. It might be worth your while to ask your husband if he can turn the steel in the wax pourer holder into an element that heats the pourer when you put it in. You know wax cools quickly, so if he could electrify it somehow so that the base and ring heat up, your problems will be solved. Just an idea.

haha, that cracked me up Colleen
so I think you are giving my handy husband a bit too much credit 😂😂😂 - but I like where you are going with that idea! What a great thought!💞

I've always put my wax burner in the freezer when I want to switch out waxes and after about 10 mins the wax pops right out in one piece. I'm currently using a coconut wax blend and it's hard enough. I have a box of "tart" wax blend from Voyageur Soap and Candles but I haven't tried it yet.

Great tip! You do have to be careful with the plug in mini burners, I understand that this should not go in the freezer (although I have been known to do it anyway LOL) I thought about coconut a time or two but honestly, I don't think I could handle that much more testing 😆🤗💞

@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique I understand about the testing 🤣 all the burners I have the dish comes off, but I'm a rebel, so I might try putting the whole thing in 😂

Hi, Pls help i am just now getting into my wax melt business. Quick question: I have the same pumpkin silicone molds as you do. So how do you know how much wax to use? I have soy wax and coloring and FO. So how much wax do I use? Pls help to understand how to calculate the formula. If I use 360 g of wax, it means I use 36g of FO? is that right? Mary

36g is 10% of 360, but that will take you to closer to 400 g of total wax/fo. This is fine unless you are only wanting 360g. It doesn't have to be super precise as long as your wax can handle more than you are adding
How much really depends on how many molds, I would start small. Maybe weigh out 8 oz of wax/fo and weigh your mold, fill and then weigh again - this will tell you how much wax each mold can hold. hope that helps! Good luck🤗
