Well my friend, my Saturdays are always better with your laughter. I use those bags for refillable hair conditioners/ lotions. My regular customers already have the pump bottle and most of the time they get same lotion, so they can get the refill at a discount price ( I even have some bringing back the bag, lol) If a new customer want to get the bag and use whatever container they already have at home they can do that too. I made scoopable wax melts, no squeezable and I like it.
Hi Clivia! That's a really great thought - I currently don't make lotions but I think I may have a small line. I like the refillery thing you have going. I thought about doing some of that with some of my items and you have inspired me to put more thought into it 💕 (I think I have tried scoopable once, I didn't have much luck with that one either)
Hi Angela! Well I am embarrassed I never even considered that LOL I maybe should start carrying some body wash at least LOL. I make a foaming hand wash, I suppose I could sell refills on those...THANKS!!!
Omg sweetie, on regular wax melts , when it’s done with its sent and has cooled off put the dish with the wax melt into your freezer for about maybe 20 minutes. Take it out then and it will just simply pop out very clean easy no mess . Now I have no idea when it comes to the chill kind that you just made if that method would work or not, but you could try it but if you got to lose right💕💕💕
Thanks for the tip!🤗 I do do that (mostly) on the pots that have the dish that comes off. BUT - those wall plugs I do not as they really aren't supposed to go in the freezer/fridge. I don't know what would happen (if anything) but I'm a rule follower for the most part 😆
oh thanks Wendy! That is a great idea, mine are looking a little...gross LOL I need to lightly sand and clean them and then I will add the oil/vaseline mixture. YAY - not wasting this oil 😂💕
I bought the pouches for the same project and it was a nope for me too. I have tried using the pouch for in shower lotion, liquid potpourri, bubble bath, shower gel, bath oils and i tried bath salts and scrubs but that was a headache too. I hope this helps you 😊
oh thanks so much for your comment.🤗 I still keep going back to the scrub idea -I have a big syringe that I though may help with the filling, but it would still be a big pain I am sure.🤔
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve never had the desire to jump on the squeezable wax wagon anyway and this has confirmed for me that it’s not necessary for my business 👍. Regarding the bags - as others mentioned, soap refills is a good idea. If you sell reed diffusers you could test out selling diffuser refills in them maybe?
oh that is interesting! I don't sell reed diffusers but that is def a thought for anyone reading this that does. I wonder if the plastic would hold up.. I think one of the reasons I wanted to try it was I thought the pretty colors would draw people into my space at a show. I still think it would but totally not worth it in my mind 🤗
Loved this video. Can you share how you are feeling overwhelmed in your business. I am too! And I am sort of new, but feel so much pressure to carry a lot of stuff, but I am already in so much debt and haven't made a lot of money, yet. I guess maybe it is a scaling issue?
oh gosh, this year has been a doozy for me with trying to keep up. I think that I do need to scale back (and plan to - again LOL) I need to drop what does not sell well, but then I have ingredients and packaging going to waste if I do, so I keep making.. *sigh* I am so blessed that I am getting more sales, but I still work 35 hours a week, and keeping up and keeping on task is getting harder for me. Add to that YT (which I love - don't get me wrong) adds a lot of work. Alright - pity party over 😂😂 I will say - one huge mistake I made when I started is to let your sales drive your business - I put all of my money into buying ingredients and packaging so I could make x,y and z - I should have let my soap sales pay for adding wax melts and so on. I was like you and felt I needed to carry those items right away. You don't have to! Make and sell what you are currently and let those sales pay for anything you want to add. 💕💕💕
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Sounds like this answer was good for you to put down and read to yourself, and it was good for me to read as well! Thank you! I've been implementing what you're saying and feeling less anxiety! I am a full time therapist, too, so it's important we don't let this outlet burn us out. Maybe making small batches of things from the not so hot selling products just for TH-cam might be helpful, so you use it up, and generate interest, but don't have to worry about making enough to sell. I appreciate all you do for us on here so much. I love your personality and genuineness!
I would agree with the other comments, maybe refills for lotions or creams or liquid soaps. What about bubble bath? 🤔 Bath stuff is so hit or miss, but might be a good idea for the holidays?
Hi Nora! I wonder if bubble bath would be good for holidays...I don't think I have ever made it before but it might be worth just buying a bulk unscented bottle and splitting it off to see how it sells this year...I don't want to put too much time and effort into something that is not going to sell well (because you are right - hit and miss on those things)😍
Sugar scrub!! Or maybe an extra thick bubble bath. But really, sugar scrub would be really good. I do not like scooping out scrub with my wet hand in the shower.
good morning Andi! as wax can only hold so much fragrance, the squeeze was lets you add A LOT more fragrance to the melt. It is supposed to be a super strong product and good for really big spaces. My normal wax melts would probably not be strong enough for a huge room, well I suppose any wax melt or candle would have problems scenting a really large space. Squeeze wax is supposed to solve this. That's the claim anyway 😆
You could use the poches for liquid soap refills. That's what I'm going to do with mine. Thank you for trying this and giving your honest opinion.
Yes!!! This is the way.
Thanks Vicky! I'm embarrassed that that never even entered my mind 😂😂😂
You did it so we didn’t have to.❤😂 Love this series!❤
haha - awesome! Glad to be of service! 😂😂😂💕

Those bags would be great refills for body wash or liquid shampoo if you already make one. People might like that for refilling their own bottles too!

@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique it's a great idea for a foaming hand wash concentrate for customers to refill! I think customers would love that!

I use mineral oil and Vaseline to treat my wooden soap molds. Workshop Heritage recommends that mixture to treat their molds between uses.

I wanna try and make jelly wax melts

I agree with you price to make doesn’t reflect the short fragrance time. And definitely very messy. Didn’t sell very good for me and yes messy making.
yep, not sorry to see this one go by the wayside! 😂
U could put liquid bubble bath in bags
That's a great idea! thank you! 💕
Maybe the bags could be used for lotions and shampoo for people who are travelling or camping
That's an idea! I hadn't thought of something like that. Or a lotion refill for their current bottle...something to think about🤗😍

you make liquid soap, use the bags for refills to sell ?
great idea! I used to make liquid soap all the time - maybe I should start up again LOL - I have the packaging 😆
I did squeeze wax years ago and my customers didn’t know or understand what it was and therefore they weren’t good sellers for me.
thanks Lissa, I can see where that would happen. I'm glad it didn't work out for me LOL - my life is crazy enough 😆

ok! Thanks! I was thinking it would be kind of nice to try it. You helped me firm up that thought. 🤗
I've never even heard of squeezy wax. Why would you get that instead of a regular wax melt? Trying to wrap my brain around it.

@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Ah! Gotcha! Thanks for the explanation.
Have an amazing day! 🥰
I didn’t like the mineral oil at all whole batch ruined. I used coconut oil and it set up good. Mineral never got solid at all stayed to runny
Agreed, beside I don’t like mineral oil is banned in my house 😆
Thanks for sharing that! Hopefully others will read it and learn from you 😍
