I recommend this game all the time and everyone is just like "what? Titansouls? Uhh yeah sure whatever" It's such a cool game and the world feels so rich and deep, despite never really telling us much about itself.
Such a cool approach to creating difficulty. 1HP bosses but you need to figure out how to actually deal damage… Shame that the bosses felt a bit too easy. I’ll have to give it a go myself!
The game is reasonable to beat, it starts relatively easy but ramps up pretty well after the golem who is your first brush with having to make a really perfect shot. The kills can be very fast but also you'll die a bunch. It's definitely not easy, you need skill for sure. The speedrun strats are also really cool
The only reason I remember this game is basically the Totalbiscuit controversy, basically totalbiscuit gave a first impression that was basically “this is a well constructed game but it just not my thing.” And the devs basically did not take well and started a fight with him. Hopefully the devs learned from that debacle.
It's a very well known game in brazil since there was a big youtuber who did a series back then. I could'nt played it because there was no keyboard control support, which i thought it is outrageous
having beaten this games years ago, barely remembering anything from it, watching this video brought back what felt like forgotten memories. What a cool game. also, check out Death's Door, the more recent game made by the same developers. Haven't beaten it yet, but it has very similar vibes, and more.
As someone who got the true ending with precisely 444 deaths (or 404 i don’t remember) and in like 4 hours 4 minutes etc i am estatic to fianlly hear someone talk about this masterpiece
Nice video seeing this on my recommend gave me some nostalgia but not for actually playing Titan Soul. Something intereting to point out. An artist that worked on this game had some beef with an old popular youtuber named TotalBiscuit. This caused TB to publicly say he was going to stop coverage of this game. Idk how much this contributed to burying this game in obscurity but it made me not buy the game at the time. I remember it also had a lot of controversy for being really short and costing to much in most peoples opinion. I remember thinking that was BS at the time but cost/game time ratio was a big topic back then.
I'd have you know this isn't a souls like the reason why souls was unique wasn't because it was hard if thsts the case it would be called a kings field like. Lolz.

I'll have to go check it out!
Titan Souls is highly underlooked and I appreciate the video, I love this game though I'd argue it's more of a bossrush game than a soulslike

This game was so unique, I hope they make a sequel.
They did make death door wich looks similar but idk
Awesome helmet
I loved this game as a kid, replayed it a bunch of times
Bro and i just platinumed the game a few days ago lol
Commenting to appease the algorithm but also because this was a fun lil vid
I played the entire game thinking I could only shoot in eight directions :/
Nah, I think about this game constantly. It was fun, but it was kind of short.
